I want to know how to get back my pictures and other information back?
i didnt open ipod for 2 months(exams) , i forgot my password ,i tried doing recovery mode didnt work ,so i did DFU MODE and now i want to know whether i will get my pics or not if so how????
and also i wanna no why my ipod is slow , and when i wanna play any game especially subway surfers ,the game loadzz and suddenly goes back to home screen this is happening to most of my apps includind fb

JaneApple normally does not get involved in handling lost objects like this. Since a real name is not installed it will be much more difficult.

I was using OS Snow Leopard and on 8/1/13 I downloaded Mountain Lion. Then I found out it was not compatible with my HP Printer (HP Photosmart C5580 all-in-one) so I called Apple support and the tech told me to erase the hard drive instead of going in the time machine. Well I did that and then it took about three hours three days a week for about three weeks on the phone with an apple tech to get all my stuff back on my computer. I have had trouble with my printer (won't do the scan anymore and wasn't printing on my DVDs. Also the computer keeps freezing up when it is in the sleep mode, etc.
When I tried to list my problem on this forum it lists your OS at the bottom and mine had Mountain Lion listed as what I was using so apparently it didn't erase it. Want to know how to get Mountain Lion off and put my Snow Leopard on so things start working right.Go to the menu/About This Mac - what OS version shows there?
Do a backup, preferably 2 separate ones on 2 separate drives.
Revert to a Previous OS X
Revert to Snow Leopard
If you do revert, I'd use Setup Assistant to restore your data. This process takes a while, so do it when you won't need the computer for several hours, based on my experience. -

Yes you can probably delete the 2 incomplete back ups they are unlikely to work.
However, I'd be inclined to back up to a computer as well and restore from there, if you are changing your phone. -

Depending on which country that you are in then you might be able to re-download your purchases: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . Otherwise, have you not got a backup of your purchases and content on, for example, an external drive ?

Depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be redownloaded in all countries), and if it's still in your country's store (and if the studio allows redownloading), then you might be able to redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. If you can't redownload it then do you have a copy of it on the backup of your downloads/library that you've been keeping ?

To restore app data, the apps have to be in the iTunes library of the computer on which you do the restore. The iPod ackup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.

I have now recently downloaded 10.0.2 which is confusing in itself, as, as far as I can ascertain that is actually version 11, but I'm not even sure about that.
Version 10.0.2 is the newest version and the successor to GarageBand '11 (version 6.0.5).
The '11 is referring to the iLife '11 suit of multimedia application - the older GarageBand was a part of this bundle.

I feel your pain Robert. I do believe VZW and Apple knew all along the I6 Plus would not be available on 19 Sep and that it was a way to bolster new contracts, renewed contracts and apple sales stats. It's unfortunate the company wasn't more clairvoyant, most of us would have still pre-ordered but been a little less frustrated.

I use iPhoto and want to know how to get the 'key photo' i select on my McBook Pro to be the same one that gets used on my iPhone 5s when i sync. i also want the events to appear on the iPhone in the same order i have them on my macbook. any ideas there too?

No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.

Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.
By the way, I also find the "password" issue problematical. It seems Apple want my Apple password rather than my eMail password. All very confusing.

Sorry. If your tabs aren't restores and "Restore Recently Closed Tabs" is grayed and there aren't any windows to restore then the tabs from that session are lost. It is better to bookmark tabs that are important by clicking the star on the location bar or bookmark all open tabs to prevent such issues. You can try to find them in the history (History > Show All History).

Have you double checked to make sure it hasn't been moved to a different page or folder? Double check your iPod's Restrictions as well to make sure it hasn't been disabled. To do this, head to Settings -> General -> Restrictions.
Default Apps that came with your iPod or Apple's iOS cannot be removed.
