That is a 16 GB black iPhone 5 GSM model, maufactured in the 48th week of December - less than four weeks ago.
There is no reason to believe it is a refurbished iPhone.

Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> Mouse
And edit your mouse settings to do what you want it to do.

Third, from my understanding, it would appear you are concerned about the noise the hard drive makes when it falls asleep? Why not put your machine in screen saver mode instead? Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Energy Saver turn off all Energy Saver settings, or set them to run Never.
Fourth, if your machine was purchased just a few days ago, you may still be able to get an exchange from the store, quicker than you can get a repair done. You may want to look into that possibility.
Fifth, it does appear you found the Logic forum. I would persist in asking there how to solve your technical issue with Logic regarding the audio. It may be you don't have to do anything special to the hard drive. Remember audio can be transmitted by wire, avoiding ambient sounds.

I can't access iTunes Match or make any Music or app purchases or updates after updating to iOS 6. No matter how many times I've reset my iphone4 and reentered my account information I can't assess my music in iTunes Match or purchase or update any apps or music. How can I fix this. On enabled devices iTunes on my computer shows my iPhone with ? marks.

You cannot do that. The AppleID you used to create the iCloud account is an active primary email address. The email address you created with the iCloud account is also an active primary email address (all Apple domain email address automatically become AppleIDs as well). You cannot replace the primary email address on one active AppleID with the primary email address on another, active AppleID.
You can use your iCloud email/AppleID with iTunes, but it will be a separate account, so all your previous purchases remain tied to the other AppleID you have.
I don't understand your statement that you could not remeber your old AppleID password, as you would have had to use it to create the iCloud account in the first place (the first step of creating the iCloud account required you to login with your existing AppleID and password)? -
I downloaded a dictionary app a while ago that is no longer in the app store. I also don't have it on my newly reformatted windows machine. What can I do to transfer it to another device?
Well, the best way is to restore the backup that you made before you reformatted the Windows machine.
Barring that, open iTunes, go to Preferences, Devices, and check the box to disable automatic sync. Then connect the phone to your computer, and go to the File menu, Devices/Transfer Purchases. This should copy all of the iTunes content on your phone to your computer. -

You can only restore the backup to another iOS device. Also, Apple will delete an iCloud backup after 180 days of inactivity so it won't be there forever.

After changing my Apple ID I do not seem to be able to recognize it as my proper ID. It does work properly for an iTunes login and password, but, it is not displayed that way on my device when I look at my iCloud settings and other "system level" settings.

My question is if I start a new iPhone (not use the restore from back-up option) and redownload apps like (Games, Instagram), would my pics show up on Instagram and would my Games show it was saved and the acccomplisments will remain from the last place I left out.

Icloud or itunes backup, only backs up app data, not the app itself.
so if you restore as new, then there is no app data on your phone, you start out new...
