I want to make all fonts in Thunderbird (GUI?) smaller, including messages.

Just today, all font sizes jumped up.
I don't know why, but these fonts are too large---they make my screen too crowded, the number of messages listed is too small, same for lines of each message.

Have you tried rebooting your computer?

    @Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
    UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
    Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
    You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
    Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
    Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
    Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
    IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
    You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
    Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
    I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

    Activation issues are almost always the result of a device that has been hacked or jailbroken.  If that is the case, no support can be provided here.
    The other possible issue is a device running the iOS7 Beta.  If that is the case, and you are a developer, sign into the developers forums for assistance.  If that is the case and you are not a developer, try google.

  • I do I make all fonts from Windows/Fonts available to CS5 ?

    It used to be that I very rarely used fonts within CS5 but recently I have.  I realized that all of the fonts supposedly included with CS5 are not available via my drop down menu.
    I then found these fonts in Windows/fonts so I copied all of those fonts into Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts.  These unavailble fonts are now listed in that folder but are still not available via the dropdown menu in PS CS5.
    I've recently read that the fonts don't really even NEED to be in the Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts folder and that PS should actually make all of the fonts in Windows/Fonts available via the dropdown menu.  Yes, I have restarted PS after copying the files and also tried rebooting my PC after copying the files.  The fonts are still not available via the drop down text menu within PS even though all of them are now in both locations.
    Can anyone help me with this problem?  Thanks!

    Sometimes the font names are shown with slightly different names in windows, depending on the program.
    For example, in photoshop cs5 if you scroll the font list almost to the bottom, do you see a font named Kozuka Gothic Pr6N
    I believe that is the same as the KozGoPr6N font(s) listed in the windows font folder.
    The different font styles (Bold, Heavy, Light etc.) are listed under the font styles drop-down just to the right of the font list in the tool options bar.
    I believe the font menu in photoshop cs5 sorts/shows the fonts by script.
    This script might make it easier to indentify the fonts as shown in photoshop with the names shown in the windows fonts folder.

  • I want to make all the text in a file italic.

    what is the best code to use - <i>, <em>, or <strong>?
    and can I just put the code under <body>, or do I put it with the all css codes for <h1>, <h2>, <p> etc. on the isolated main css file?

    You mean to say that you want the characters to be italic on a webpage, right?
    If so then this code will do the trick:
    body {
        font-style: italic;
    You don't need to change anything else or to mess around with any other code.

  • Want to make firefox my default brouser but get error message "can"t initialize plug ins directory" try again later?

    That's the basic problem. I've tried a number of trouble shooting corrections; but nothing works.

    Hello,
    Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
    '''Note:''' You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
    #Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
    #After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
    #Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    #*'''Windows:'''
    #**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    #**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
    #*'''Mac:''' Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
    #*'''Linux:''' If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see [[Installing Firefox on Linux]]. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop Firefox download page], simply remove the folder ''firefox'' in your home directory.
    #Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
    ##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
    ##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
    Please report back to see if this helped you!
    Thank you.

  • How can I make all my files the same volume???

    I am a DJ and I want to make all of my files the same volume without losing too much sound quality. I dont just want them to play back the same volume on iTunes. I want them to all be the same volume when I burn them to a cd. As there a way to do this? Any help would be appreciated!

    I want them to all be the same volume when I burn them to a cd.
    If you mean Audio CD, check 'Use Sound Check' in Preferences>Advanced>Burning.
    This will - kind of - 'normalize' the tracks and is supposed to bring them at the same volume.
    I haven't tried this for a long time though (since iTunes 5, I think), because I was not satisfied with the results.
    It could have improved now, so you could give it a try.
    I use Jam (Roxio.com) to create my Audio CDs. It has a 'normalize' function that works well and you can also set the gain for each track manually.
    You could also try the 'normalize' function of an audio editor like Audacity (freeware) or Sound Studio to alter the files permanently.
    Hope this helps.

  • How do I make a font in a Macbook Pro

    I want to make a font from scratch. I have read that there are two different ways to make a font. One is to scan it in and use and editor and save as a font, which is a very vague answer. What software do you use? The other was mention via a windows sight using an editor within the operating system. Any suggestions on how to do this?
    For reference, I am not interested in uploading to a sight that would take my template and convert it. I want to know how I can do this myself on the mac.
    Thank You.

  • How to make all the rows of a table editable

    I have a table in a view, with visibileRowCount property as 5. The internal table which is bound to the context has 2 rows.
    I want to make all the 5 rows of this table as editable. As of now, as there are just 2 rows in the internal table, only the first 2 rows of the table in the view are editable.
    My idea is to avoid the use of a 'Add row' button for this table. Is it possible to do this?
    Points will be rewarded. thanks.

    hi john....
                just insert 3 more empty records into your internal table... so it becomes editable.

  • Is there any way to make all the inputComponents readon-only in a page

    Hi All,
    Is there any way by which we can make all the inputComponents belong to a specific iterator as read-only..?
    Depending on some condition I want to make all the editable components which belong to a particular iterator, in page to read-only. I can put an expression in the read-only property of all the inputFields
    and make them read-only depending on a condition. But this is going to be difficult as we have a lot of pagefragments and Task-flows.
    So I think I can do it programmatically. I can add this method as an method binding in the container jsff. So that it will do the job for all the pages [pages may be inside a region also ].
    Can any one give a similar code segment to do this..?
    Is this approach going to impact performance badly..?
    Any comments...
    Thanks

  • How to programmically change all fonts in Crystal Reports using VS2005

    Post Author: KonRi
    CA Forum: .NET
    I want to change all fonts in my rpt files from Arial to Tahoma. I have:
    ReportDocument report;
    raport.Load(fInfos&#91;i&#93;.FullName);
    if (report.IsLoaded)    ChangeFont(report, path);
    ...        private void ChangeFont(ReportDocument oReport, string path)        {            foreach (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.Section crSection in oReport.ReportDefinition.Sections)            {                                foreach (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportObject crObject in crSection.ReportObjects)                {                    FontStyle fStyle = FontStyle.Regular;                    if (crObject.Kind == ReportObjectKind.TextObject)                    {                                                CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.TextObject text = (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.TextObject)crObject;                        if(text!=null)                        {                            if (text.Font.Bold)                                fStyle = fStyle | FontStyle.Bold;                            if (text.Font.Italic)                                fStyle = fStyle | FontStyle.Italic;                            if (text.Font.Underline)                                fStyle = fStyle | FontStyle.Underline;                            if (text.Font.Strikeout)                                fStyle = fStyle | FontStyle.Strikeout;                            text.ApplyFont(new Font("Tahoma", text.Font.Size,fStyle));                                                    }                    }                                        else if (crObject.Kind == ReportObjectKind.FieldObject)                    {                       ... the same                    }                    else if (crObject.Kind == ReportObjectKind.FieldHeadingObject)                    {                        ... the same                    }                                        else if (crObject.Kind == ReportObjectKind.SubreportObject)                    {                        CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.SubreportObject crSubReport = (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.SubreportObject)crObject;                        ReportDocument crSubDoc = crSubReport.OpenSubreport(crSubReport.SubreportName);                        ChangeFont(crSubDoc,path);                    }                }            }            if (!oReport.IsSubreport)                oReport.SaveAs(path);        }
    This works fine but when TextObject has Embedded Fields those Fields aren't change and still have Arial font.My question is: how to change font in whole rpt file, including Embedded Fields?? RegardsKonRi

    Is there any update on this ? I am facing the same problem.

  • Your Music: Make all saved albums available offline button

    I recently emptied my cache etc. After that, I had to download all 35 albums by hand. It would be so much more pleasant if I could download them all with just ONE button ;) ;)

    Hello and welcome to the community!
    Just a few questions before we can give your idea a proper status:
    - Which platform would you like to see this on (Desktop, mobile, etc)
    - When you're talking about albums, do you mean the saved albums in 'Your Music'? So you want a "Make all saved albums available offline" button? Or have you saved those albums as playlist?

  • "C" drive & Profile crash-so all attachments are in crashed profile? Just want to make sure?

    1-had C drive crash a few days ago and am rebuilding on new C drive > NEW copy of TB 24.6.0
    2-Had Local Folders on a separate drive > in Tools – Account Settings – Local Folders > set to previous location
    3-After studying many support responses is it correct that the actual attachments are still in the Profile on the crashed "C" drive?
    4-Searched all drives on "new" system and found no "Profile" or "*.mbox" files - where are they?
    Just want to make sure cause the mozmsgs/wdseml on the "separate drive" only have message text when imported. If this is TRUE then I've got to focus my effort on recovering the Profile from the crashed disk. Yes, I did not have a backup - my bad for sure.
    Thank you,
    Tom

    In Thunderbird, messages are stored as they are received, along with all headers and all attachments.
    In your profile, there will be folders with no extension, such as ''Inbox''. These are mailbox files. Each has an accompanying index file, in this example ''Inbox.msf''. You don't need the msf files.
    The profile folder is hidden, so to find it you'll need to enable displaying of hidden files.
    mozmsgs is provided just to make the message contents available to Windows' searching mechanisms, so these files are not important to your restoration task.
    I really don't like the business of setting mail account folder locations using the Local Directory option. It removes the particular folder from your profile and makes maintenance very much harder, since now only ''you'' will know where the re-located data lives. None of the usual techniques or tools for working with profiles will work with the detached data.
