I thought this to be true, until I was on the Mapquest website and tried to use the print button. I used Mapquest with firefox 3.6 and had no problem with the buttons or any printing problems at all.

Aside from the size of my backup drive, which I will increase at some point, I'd really like to have time machine backing up all system folders, especially Applications. How to I reset this hidden exclusions?

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.

If her account is the only admin one, the OS shouldn't allow it. If it did no-one would be able to install anything or authenticate when required.
If she just wants a standard account for normal day-to-day use, she needs to create a new admin account, then downgrade the original one to Standard.
Of course, if you're just trying to bypass parental controls… well you need her permission to do it!

How can I specify a folder on my external hdd to backup?

Is there a solution to choose a folder on my external hdd to do the auto-backups? I just can choose the volume to backup but not a folder on it. Where does the system strore all the data? just chaotic on my hdd in the root directory?

Yes. Time Machine is an archival backup utility meaning it stores copies of changed or deleted files in case the user needs to retrieve older versions of files. As such Time Machine continues to add hourly to the backup drive. Over time the drive will fill up until it is no longer usable by Time Machine due to lack of space. Having a large backup drive prolongs the inevitable.
If you find this is not something you require for your backup strategy, the use a different backup utility that simply overwrites old files with new ones. Such a backup utility only requires a backup drive equal to the size of the drive being backed up.

You don't change it.
It will use any account balance first, once it is gone, then it will go to your credit card.

After creating a Screen Name or User ID with the relevant service you can enter this in iChat
With iChat Open go to the iChat Menu > Preferences >Accounts
Use the + button at the bottom of the List
Chose from the top item whether the Account (Screen Name) you are adding is going to be AIM, (inlcuding Apple variants), Jabber (including Google variant) or in iChat 6 a Yahoo account.
Add details as required.
Click Done.

Time Capsule as external HDD and backup drive

I'm looking to buy a Time Capsule; can I use it as an external hard drive for my movies, and as a backup drive to work with Time Machine? I want to have my whole iTunes library on the Time Capsule so I can store everthing there to free up space for my Mac, and still be able to use Apple TV with those movies. In addition I want to use the rest of the space to back up the rest of my Macs files with Time Machine. Is that possible?

TC can handle TM and other backups at the same time.
The TC is much slower (and more expensive) than a "normal" external drive, because everything has to go via WiFi. Especially when you are going to place Libraries on it.
So I suggest that you acquire an exeternal backup disk.
Second:
if you want to place Libraries on the same disk as your backups/TM: when that disk goes down you do not have any backup for your Libraries (even when you partition the disk to separate between backup and libraries). Think about that. Imagine how you feel when you loose your photo library....
Third:
So all in all, I suggest to have two SEPARATE external disks.

Time Capsule as storage and External HDD as backup

Hi folks. I looked around for quite a while trying to find an answer and not duplicate threads but didn't quite find what I was looking for. I've currently got an Airport Extreme and LaCie Rugged 500GB HDD for backups. My Macbook Pro HDD (250GB) is getting full so I'm thinking through best next steps. This is my current thinking:
Replace Airport Extreme with 2 TB Time Capsule to be used as storage
Continue to use Rugged 500GB HD as location for storing backups
Essentially use the TC as a NAS media server (which I understand is controversial) but to get around the whole not storing data on the same source as backups I would use a smaller drive for backups.
I have no idea about speeds though. Also we have very modest media demands. We have about 75GB in music, 40GB in photos and don't store any movies on our machine. We don't have apple TV or anything like that although I would be interested in streaming the music to the stereo somehow.
So would this work?

You can do a USB hub and multiple USB drives.. they don't always co-operate but that is all part of the fun..
TM cannot backup network drives.. doesn't matter if it is wireless or ethernet.. no direct contact no backup.. strangely it can backup to the network drive.
Of course there are other backup software.. maybe even better than TM.. like CCC which is not expensive and works well.. but you will learn a new meaning of the words slow.. pain and suffering while you are digested over a 1000years in the belly of Sarlacc will be nothing compared to this backup. Especially over wireless as all packets are dragged off the first USB disk.. over the wireless network to the computer.. then back over the wireless network to the AE and then the next USB drive.
