I want to make my video's bakcground transparent in flash?

I work on flash CS3
I created a video in sony vegas, and imported it to flash, but the background is black, I want it to be transparent, what should I do?
P.S: in sony, there is no background, except the original black backgound that we see when we open the projet?
can we make some changes in the flvplayback in order to fix this?

If you want to create a transparent background, you need to chroma-key it:

After you've processed your video like that, including the alpha channel, you can transcode to .flv. Just be sure you include the alpha channel all the way along. Then you'll need a flash video player placed on the Web page with the wmode set to transparent.

If you want a Picture in Picture effect, stack one still on top of the other with a connect edit. Use Transform to scale and reposition the top image.

An easy way of combining movies in QuickTime:
To combine two movies:
   1. In QuickTime Player, choose Edit > Select All to select the entire contents of the first movie.
   2. Choose Edit > Copy, then open the second movie.
   3. Move the playhead to the point at which you want to insert the movie (usually the very beginning or end of the original movie), and choose Edit > Paste.
   4. Choose File > Save As to name and save the new movie.
You can continue to add on to the saved movie.

FaceTime is not available on devices sold in Dubai, their country doesn't allow it. Even though you may now be in a different country you won't be able to install it, including via iOS updates - it's blocked by the serial number.
To sync photos, connect and select your phone on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (if the sidebar isn't showing then control-S should get it to show), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the phone. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the phone together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the phone, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

iCloud video sharing is limited to 5 minute clips, there are better ways of sharing longer clips, such as YouTube or DropBox.

The function of looping a media file (i.e. movie) is typically a function of the media player software, it can not be embedded into a movie file.
As an alternative a video DVD can be programmed during authoring to loop any file (i.e. at end, jump to, start of file)

If you want to make a video loop you would need to use iMove, or some other video editing app for that. Then add that video to iTunes under movies.

Start the Photobooth app in your applications directory.
In full screen mode move the dial to the right for movie.
In normal window mode it's a tab.

I think camickr (not Camicker) already told you to set the opacity of the JScrollPane's viewport.
Spend just a few minutes with the JScrollPane API and you'll find an exploded view showing the components that make up a scroll pane.

I just realized that I shot both horizontally and vertically and when I preview (on full-screen) what I've combined, first it's wide-screen, then it's tall, narrow with wide black sides.
The film looks choppy, no flow, since it alternates horizontally and vertically.
I can import the vertical clips two ways: "Full-Original Size", or "Large 960x540." But the vertical clips have very short, fat people.
This didn't happen with my Flip HD; the movies are smooth and terrific. My heart is breaking.....please, how can I make the videos match?

Yes, I'd like to use all the video I shot, put it together with music, titles, etc. and make it consistant. when it goes from full screen to this vertical, narrow clip, it's very awkward.....and it's so narrow, it's hard to see what I'm looking at; my eyes don't make the adjustment quickly.

I don't know if this effect is included in the lower costing Final Cut Express.
