I am wanting to transfer iphoto pics from my macbook pro to my iMac. How can I do this?

I have a macbook pro that has iPhoto 11 version 9.1.5 that has pictures that I am trying to move over to my iMac into iPhoto on the iMac which is iPhoto 11 version 9.1.5. What is the easiest way to move these pictures from my macbook pro to my iMac?

On the iMac: Export the 30 or so pics from iPhoto to a Folder in the Desktop (File -> Export)
Then go to the Pictures Folder and drag the iPhoto Library to the trash.
Next: Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network, Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then launch iPhoto. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.
Then import the 30 from the folder on the Desktop.

Also, there's no need to find the original disk for installation. Just download the latest update of your purchased version from here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ and user your original serial number.

iCloud is not the way to do this. You should use Migration Assistant - with this you can transfer your complete User folder from the old Mac including preferences and logins. You will need to connect the two with FireWire or USB depending on the models.
Ideally you should do this before you set up the new Mac - if you create a user account with the same name than the Migration will have to give the migrated user folder a different name. When you first switch on the new Mac it should ask you if you want to transfer your data, and give you instructions.

You are not going to be able to recover the music from your iPod to you new laptop.
It doesn't work that way. It only move music from you iOS device to your computer.
You can download what you purchased from Apple. Anything else is lost.
Hence the reason we are always harping on backups.

iDevices can only sync to one library at a time.

You don't need two separate libraries to manage two devices.
I suspect the reason that the apps are appearing in both libraries is that you have enabled automatic downloads in iTunes and automatic syncing of apps so that all your purchases end up in both libraries, defeating your original aim.
Why not use a single library and make playlists for the media content you want on each device? Disable Settings > Store > Automatic Downloads > Apps on each device, then connect each device in turn and turn off Automatically Sync Apps on the Apps page.
You can now manage your devices independently, while only having to manage the content of one iTunes library, instead of two.

Interfaces don't have any implementation; they're pure method signatures. When a concrete class implements an interface, it makes a promise that says "I will provide implementations for exactly these methods. Any client can call a method from the interface and I will do something 'sensible' if I'm written correctly."
From the point of view of static and dynamic types, there's no difference between interfaces and classes.
C++ has interfaces, too - they're classes with all pure virtual methods. If you understand how C++ works, the concept shouldn't be hard.
ArrayList is preferred precisely because it isn't synchronized by default. (You can always make it so using java.util.Collections if you wish later on.) If you don't need synchronization, why pay the performance penalty?
