I want to preorder an album but I also want to purchase (now) a song that has already been released. In the past I would, but then "complete album" later but it causes porblems with playlists (leaving prepurchased songs out and I have to manually add them to the album playlist). If I preorder the album now, do I get the already released songs now?

Some pre-orders include songs that are available for download immediately. When you pre-order, you will be charged only for these songs and you will receive them immediately.

I'm not aware of free apps that will let you work with Word, Excel, etc. There are however, paid apps, such as Pages and Numbers you can buy that will work for you.

Under "Firefox," "Preferences," and then "Fonts and Colors" there is a setting that I would like to know the default for, as well as all of those that you see when you select the "Advanced" button for Fonts.

Time Machine backup says no more room but there is one TB available?

Time Machine suddenly tells me it cannot back up as "the backup is too large for the backup disk." My backup hard drives are both 2TB capacity, and the data to be backed up is about 1.01TB. I have indicated that Time Machine should delete old backups to allow new ones to be stored.

A couple of things, please look over Pondini's Time Machine FAQs & Time Machine Troubleshooting. If you cannot find a solution there you may want to consider reposting in the Snow Leopard forum. TM is part of OS X and you will find a section for TM in the version of OS X you're running which appears to be Snow Leopard.

If I already bought a song from the album, and I want to preorder the album now, will it still clost $13.99?

I bought Domo23 off of Tyler, The Creator's new album "Wolf" and now I want to preorder the album. The album says that it costs $13.99 but I only have $13.79 in my account now due to me purchasing Wolf. If I preorder it, does that mean I'm going to end up buying Domo23 twice?

If you preorder, you will need to purchase the entire album and buy that one track twice. The iTunes Store may offer a "complete my album" after the album is released, where you could buy just the remaining tracks at a reduced price, but that's not guaranteed. It's often the case when a record company releases a single first that it's not really part of the album and hence the "complete my album" is not available.

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a number of days.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

Has any Coldplay fan lost purchased content within iTunes, I have recently noticed my Coldplay Live 2012 purchased on iTunes is gone from my iCloud library and no longer available for purchase ! A bit strange considering there new album just went on sale

Recently I have noticed my iTune purchased concert movies after being put back in the cloud are currently missing.
I have never had purchased content from iTunes vanish from my iCloud library and also not be available for purchase on iTunes.
When I had Apple personnel attempt to push the content back to me, they could not find Coldplay's Live 2012.
Even more strange considering their new album just went on sale and renewed interest must be prompting fans to review their collections.
A beautifully shot concert film is missing, a sad situation to be sure!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that your device is correctly connected to the wifi/internet (settings > wifi)
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
If this doesn't help, try turning off some items for back up in a pattern to try to establish if your problem is being caused by specific data on your device.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

Recently I purchased iPhone 4 and also faced the same problem. Then I found the solution on net, which is:
Creating an account on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Open the App Store on your device.
Find a free application on the App Store.
Important: Before proceeding to the next step, you must purchase the free application by tapping Free.
Tap Create New Account.
You'll need to read and agree to the iTunes Store Terms & Conditions. Tap Agree located at the bottom of the page to continue.
Choose your country, then tap Done.
Enter your email address, security question, birthday, and create your password. Tap Next.
Select None as your payment option.
Continue to fill out the required email, address, and phone number fields. Tap Next.
You'll then see a screen that says "Verify your Account." Tap Done and check your email for a verification email from iTunes Store.
Open the email and click the link enclosed in the email to activate your account.
Once you tap the link, the App Store should automatically open and then prompt you to sign in with your account name and password.
Tap Sign In then when prompted and then tap Use Existing Account.
You'll then see a Congratulations screen. Tap Done to be taken to the App Store home page.

for purchases from the iTunes store do this:
connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
