I want to prevent history from being erases and prevent settings from being changed

I supervise the macs for a club and our policy is no nudity (porno,) lately we have been having a lot of trouble with that and in trying to track the culprits, they have started deleting the history. how can I prevent them viewing porno and /or prevent them from erasing the history? this has become a huge issue, we even have one person who has ended up in jail because of this.

You can't really prevent people from erasing the history. You will have to install a router with a (password protected) logging feature and reroute all computers through that router.
You posted with a Firefox 2.0.0.20 version, so I assume that the computer run an older Mac OS X 10.3.9 or earlier version.<br />
Are all computers old Macs that still have a Mac OS X 10.3.x or lower?

If you want to be able to view, edit and export from Lightroom you can move the files using your computer OS (explorer or finder) and update the folder location by right-clicking on the folder name in the LR Library. See fig 8 at the attached link:

This will work when the thumb drive is connected.
If you really have no need to keep these files off-line in LR then simply move the files, select all the thumbnails in the LR Library and hit delete. Then choose remove.

Rather than using Migration Assistant, which can cause trouble with the PPC to Intel change, simply boot the G5 in FireWire target disk mode and manually transfer the following:
/Home/Library/Keychains (copy the whole folder)
/Home/Library/Mail (copy the whole folder)
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
You might want to look over Kappy's helpful guide for migrating, which covers the full process for a manual migration (including the above files).

you will find the code in the attachment (saved for LV2013). There is a longer delay inside the loop, remove it for efficiency.
Roughly measuring the time to read an image, the processing takes ~8 ms on my computer (~500x200 image resolution). That is ~125 samples/images per second. Is this not fast enough for you? Considering better image resolution, the time is of course increased.
My specifications:
Core i7 3632QM
6 Gb RAM
Win 7 x64 (Labview x86 though).

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks only from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to restart iTunes. While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

I added a modified package in APPVMAN with the option "Copy access and configuration settings".
Package is unpublished. But shows AD groups as a current package because I used the option "Copy access and configuration settings"
QUESTION:
How to Remove (and then add) the option "Copy access and configuration settings" from added package.

sorry for the panic :)
before publishing an updated package to existing groups of initial package I hit the option
"Copy access and configuration settings".
But first I wanted to test it for TEST group. Didn't think that AD settings will be applied (do it first time).
Just to confirm:
1. I will remove current groups from updated(unpublished package)
2. Will add Test group and test the package.
3 In case it is OK I can then add removed(needed) groups.
I want to be sure that after removing and adding needed groups all other settings will be intact.

Well, you sink everything on your 3GS onto your laptop/computer. Then you reset your iPhone 4. When you are restarting it, add all those apps music (ect) On to it. It seems difucult but for more info call Apple. I did that and he lead me step by step on how to do it. Well hope this helped~~

Bad mistake. You shouldn't have used your Apple ID on his phone. And you made it worse because now the contacts are gone, as you deleted them from your phone, they got deleted on iCloud. Your husband should have his Apple ID.
There is really no way of recovering the deleted contacts unless you backed up using iTunes and even then you will only be able to recover those contacts that were on a call list. Read here:

Update Software says I need to do update to 10.6.7 which I can't do because administrator privileges are gone. I didn't back-up with Time Machine ,BAD, but I have all files backed-up on another hard drive. Should I just reformat and start over? Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

PROBLEM SOLVED! For me at least!
Apple Support gave me the clue - I had run Migration Assistant, and it had obligingly replaced a system file (/Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework/Versions/B/PluginManager) with the equivalent from my old system.
I reinstalled 10.6.7 using the DVD supplied and all is well.
The moral is - don't use Migration Assistant.
Along the way Apple Support provided me with a link to download Combo update 10.6.7: this could not be installed on my iMac.

How does one move files, programs and configuration settings from a G4 Powerbook running OSX 10.4.11 to a late 2008 unibody Macbook since there is no firewire capability to use for a target disk.

If you previously created an user account on the MacBook, open the Users folder, find the folder you migrated, drag it to the desktop, authenticate yourself if needed, and then move the files from the folder on the desktop to the corresponding locations in your home folder.

When the Kindle app was updated - none of my books showed up on my iPad. Here is what I did and I did it all on the iPad.
Go to amazon.com
Sign into your account
Tap on - Your Account - in the upper right corner
Tap on Manage your Kindle - next to the Digital Content section on the left side.
Find your books in the next window
Tap on the Actions Icon next to the book title
Tap on deliver to - select your iPad
Go back to your Kindle app and see if it downloads
