I want to print a powerpoint on my MacBook Air but its not allowing me please help?

I want to print a powerpoint on my MacBook Air but its telling me that a printer error has occured. It then tells me that I need to print again or go to the printer settings. Can someone please help. I dont know where the printer settings are. Can someone help?

Do you get this error message only when you try to print from PowerPoint?
When you click on Print, a new window opens. That includes a button to click for Printer Settings.

My printer is working on Default Settings. Yu can change that by clicking there.

You can connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, that should copy it over to the Movies part of your library.
Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether the film studio allows it, you might also be able to re-download it on your Mac via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page.

I want to back up my Iphone5 on my laptop (W8) so that I can use the back up on my new Iphone5s. I use Icloud but would rather do it via my laptop.
When plugging the old Iphone into my laptop it only gives two options; set up as new Iphone or restore from previous back up (which is my Ipad from last June)
How can I get a back up from my Iphone on Itunes.
I already turned off the Icould back off setting on the Iphone.

No need for the caps.
If iTunes prompts you to restore your phone, then that is your only choice. Just follow the instructions iTunes gives you.
If its not turning on, hold down the power and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Then you will be asked to restore your phone in iTunes.

HI Gary: I can't speak directly for movie purchases, but I recently downloaded an App to my iPad. iTunes took part of my payment from my remaining iTunes gift card and the remainder was charged to my credit card. The emailed receipt clearly stated how much was charged to the card.

Go to settings, iTunes & App Store, tap on your ID, sign out, then sign in with your new information. You cannot delete an old ID, you just stop using it.

If going SSD is out of the question because of the price, the I suggest you go with a Hybrid Drive.
The Seagate Momentus XT 750GB is a nice drive that is faster than your standard 7200RPM and might be large enough for your needs.
Invest about $200 and do the Seagate Momentus Drive and RAM upgrade. That will give you a nice performance boost.
The RAM you need would be 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 204 PIN SODIMM - you'll need two them to get 8GB.

Firefox cuts off the URL in your printout, if it's really long, and you also have on the same line (header or footer), the Date and Pages

To fix, do a custom setting, for the Header and Footer as follows:
Print / Page Setup / Margins & Header/Footer / "Customize" the "Left" as follows (leave Center and Right all blank)

To change the format of the Short date in Win 8.1, go to:

QUESTIONS:
1.) How do you get rid of the time, which appears after the date? In IE, you use a lowercase "d" - but that doesn't work here.
