Purchasing Flash Builder Burrito

Hi,
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but not sure where to ask. Was just wondering if Flash Builder Burrito will be released as an update for Flash Builder or if it will be a new version to purchase. I plan on purchasing Flash Builder, but wasn't sure if i should wait until Burrito is released or not.

As the upcoming release contains new features it will be a paid upgrade from the current Flash Builder 4 release.

Looks like some how your license information did not get updated to the creative suites license database on your system.
and that would explain the missing entry on the Creative suites Cleanner tool.
ensure you have Administrator priviledges and write permissions on the locations
Windows:
     /Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Adobe PCD
     /Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/caps
     /Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/backup
Mac OS:
[startup drive]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD
     [startup drive]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps
     [startup drive]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/backup
and retry the steps mentioned earlier.

Using TransformGestureEvents in Flash Builder

Hi all,
I am trying to use the TransformGestureEvents to allow interaction inside of a FLARE based application. I want to create a data visualisation app with touch interaction.
I have Flash Player 10.1, which is needed for these classes, as i have already used them in a Flash CS5 test project, and i worked great! But when i try to import the transform gesture events, an error appears saying:
1172: Defination flash.events:TransformGestureEvents could not be found.
Has anyone got any idea how i can use TransformGestureEvents inside of Flash Builder?
Any advice, is deeply appreciated!

I am using flex 4.0 SDK and flash player 10.1.
Since then i have tried to use the adobe air 2.5 SDK because I read somewhere that it included Touch events. I have tried to overlay the AIR SDK into my Flex 4.0 SDK folder and it doesn't seem to have worked. I am using a mac and the documentation out there to do this , isn't exactly straight forward and ive followed the instructions, but no success. Im really surprised that Adobe have not released a flex SDk with Touch events include, i mean it seem dumb not too!?!?
Maybe if i gave you more of an insight into what i want to achieve, this could help.
I want to use flash builder to create a search for a series of media API's (e.g Spotify/Last.FM or YouTube) the user would search for what they want and the results would be displayed in a Radial Tree Layout using the FLARE library to construct the visualisaton and I wanted to use Gestures to enable the user to navigate around the results, (ZOOMING, SELECTING, etc). I have thought about using OpenFrameworks to do this, but I would prefer to use FLASH.
I am creating this project for my Final Degree!
Any advice on this, would be great.

Flex components not working after upgrade to Flash Builder 4

I just purchased Flash Builder 4 and imported my project from Flex Builder 3. Everything worked except my Flex components that were created in Flash Professional using the Flex Compoent Kit are not showing up at all in my Flex app. The components were created in Flash CS3 and published to an SWC. I even tried upgrading to Flash Professional CS5 and re-publishing but that didn't help. These components work fine in Flex Builder 3 with Flex SDK 3.2. Does anyone know why they aren't showing up in Flash Builder 4 using Flex SDK 4.1 and AIR 2.5 SDK? I need this to work with AIR SDK 2.5 so I can compile for Android. Thanks, Ryan.

P.S. when I say they aren't showing up I mean they aren't visible in the running application. Flash Builder is finding them in the SWC though because I instantiate the components in my mxml file and it compiles without errors. - Ryan

Flash Builder 4.7 becomes unresponsive when trying to add 5-6 source folder under Flex build Path

Hi,
I am facing issue with Flash Builder 4.7.
Whenever I am trying to open any mxml or .as file after project setup, flash Builder 4.7 becomes unresponsive without showing any error message or popup.
At the initial project setup, I am able to open file but when I try adding 5-6 source folder under Flex build path->source path, it’s become unresponsive.
Everything works fine in Flash builder 4.6, but I have license key only for flash builder 4.7 and want to use Flash Builder 4.7.
Please help me to solve this issue.

Fixed: In Project prefs: Flex Build path: added the similar swc folder called "local" from FB 4.6 eclipse/plugins directory and removed the 4.7 one.
For some reason the 4.7 eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flexbuilder.project_4.7.0.345990/dcradS wcs/4.5/locale folder has localisation folders in it and not swc's like in FB 4.6..

Can I develop CF projects using Flash Builder 4.5 for PHP?

I currently develop CF projects using Flash Builder 4.5. I am considering purchasing Flash Builder 4.5 for PHP. Will I still be able to work on my CF projects using FB for PHP?

Because in the installation instructions for FB for PHP it says that you have to uninstall the current installation of FB which I have several CF projects that I use regularly. I hate to uninstall if it turns out that I can't transport my current projects into FB for PHP.
Oh that sux! It's just an Eclipse plug-in, and one can have installed multiple installs of Eclipse OK, so I wonder why they're said this?
OK, because I give suck advice, I'll D/L it and install it on a spare machine and take a look. FB usually has a CF perspective does it? So what you need to know is whether FB for PHP still has the CF perspective?
Or are you asking whether you can install CFB (or CFEclipse) as a plug-in to FB for PHP, like one can with FB?

Buying Flash Builder 4

Is there any way that I can buy Flash Builder 4 to keep my trial version going? I want to start developing Flex 4 applications now, but my trial version expired. If I buy a Flex Builder 3 license now, will I be able to use that license to keep using Flash Builder 4? I want to buy Flash Builder, but since it's a beta, what are my options?

Customer support basically told me that there was no way that I could
continue my trial of Flash Builder 4, so I had to return the software (Flex
Builder 3) the same day I bought it. The application I'm building requires
features present in Flex 4, so I don't have too many choices here. The
software destruction agreement is still pending, but I don't want to go
through the headache of dealing with customer support again.
I had no idea of the serial number request form until now, I wish I did.
Unfortunately I am just going to have to wait until Flash Builder 4 comes
out, to avoid giving my boss a heart attack asking him to buy Flex Builder 3
again. And, to answer your question: yes, I did try my existing FB3 serial
number into Flash Builder 4 and it did not work.

i have made an app in Flash builder Burrito some time ago. Now i have used Flash builder 4.5 for some time but i can't use it for my app because of the skin changes (or i have too restyle the whole app whick will take to much time for such a small app). So i want to reinstall Flash builder Burrito again and make some bug fixes for my app. But now my Flash builder Burrito licens is expired which is strange because Flash builder 4.0 and 4.5 are running fine. So my question is has Adobe canceld support even for activitating Flash Builder Burrito?

Cannot apply Flash Builder 4.7 Premium upgrade license

We purchased Flash Builder 4.7 Premium upgrade license. When we entered the new key and then the original 4.0 Premium license key, it said "This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try again.". From the License Certificate paperwork we have, it does show the serial number is for Flash Builder 4.0 Premium. Could anyone help?

The original Flash builder 4.0 Premium was purchased through a reseller our company normally use back in 2010. The Software license certificate shows TLP 5.0 LICENSE PROGRAM - CORPORATE. We do have either 4 or 6 seat license. We only have 1 developer left for this project so only 1 upgrade license was purchased.
Does our Flash builder 4.0 premium license qualify for the upgrade offer? If not how do we upgrade?
