I want to put a computer in an RV, Need suggestions

I don't know where to put this topic, but I want advise from fellow Mac users. We bought a 1997 Roadtrek RV Friday. This is a very compact RV, it is built inside a Dodge van. We wanted something small enough to drive like a SUV but would work for us on short trips, my wife and I are retired.

When we travel I will want to take a computer along. We removed the old TV set. The old CRT just takes up too much room in this small RV. The radio in the Dodge has a casette tape player, bum'er. I want to set up a really good radio, CD/DVD player, TV and computer system.
What do you think?

You all are providing me with great information. We are going to sleep in the RV tonight (in the front yard).
This is the direction that I am leaning.

I have been on a lot of Roadtrek websites, so I do not remember where I saw a picture of a monitor mounted on the back surface of the cabinet above the couch in the back. The couch makes into a bed. I have modified the bed on the passenger side to where it will work like a hospital bed (raised under my knees and raise my head. Once I work out the size and angles for the bed I will make it motor driven to raise and lower. One reason that I wanted an RV is the fact that I have trouble sleeping because of back problems. I will also be able to raise the head to a recliner position to work the computer.
Anyway the monitor that I saw was mounted on a swing out bracket so it could be viewed from the back couches or it could swing around to be viewed from the captain's chairs. The keyboard can be mounted under the same cabinet and slide out for use.
I enjoy building and modifying things like this. Take a look at my spaceship or my 280zx, but I will need a lot of advise from you all.
