Numbers has a default format called Automatic and if it sees your input as a numeric value it will try to format it the way it thinks numbers should look. There are several ways to overcome this using various formatting options. The most simple and direct is to pre-format your data area as Text. The most elaborate is to create a Custom Format to automatically insert your choice of punctuation and to treat every zero as significant.

However, I took some screenshots and when I went to upload the pictures to my Mac, the screenshots uploaded. So I believe my phone still is working but the screen is just not turning on. I tried holding down the home and top button for ten seconds, even longer, but nothing occurred. I am hoping to find a possible solution so I do not have to buy a new phone. Thank you!
The backlight burned out from getting it wet. You will have to replace the screen at a 3rd party shop, buy a screen and replace it yourself, or make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store and do an out-of-warranty replacement for $199 USD.

And you are NOT correct. I know this for a fact - I'm actually a Straight Talk "BYOP" user. You must install a configuration profile. Period. There's no way around it - iPhone defaults to the AT&T carrier bundle (based on the ICCID number of the SIM card, which identifies itself as an AT&T SIM), which includes settings that will not work and will lock out the menus that are necessary to make changes to allow data to work.
The only way to make modifications to the APN settings (that Straight Talk includes in their package) is a configuration profile. Doesn't matter if the phone is locked or unlocked. -
My iphone dosen't doesn't make key tone sounds anymore when I write a text message or when I want to dial a phone number I don't know how to fix this problem, I don't hear the clicking noise anymore does anyone know how to fix this problem?And all the sounds on my phone are on, even the keyboard clicks.
Try restarting your iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, double check the volume button just in case. If you still can't hear the tones go into your settings>sounds and make sure the options are on.

If I get this right, you've ported your phone number to AT&T with the purchase of the iPhone. That is considered opening your own account under your name. Your brother's account is not ported to AT&T unless you used his SS# instead of yours. Your brother still has his account under Verizon Wireless, all you did was use your cell phone number to when you opened your own AT&T account.
If you don't want to use your Verizon Wireless phone #, my suggestion is to call AT&T customer service and explain that you want a new phone number instead of the ported Verizon number. -

My sister and I have/had an iPhone this week she upgraded and went to an android. Now she cannot receive my text. I have put her phone number as a mobile device. Deleted previous iMessages and started a new thread she still cannot receive my text. Please tell me how this can be resolved
the fastest way is to call applecare and they can remove her number from iMessage/facetime.

In Contacts version 8, how can I print ALL information in each individual card? When I select the print command the only thing printed is the name and address. I need phone number(s) and all other information in the cards. We enter various pieces of data, other than the standard name address & phone numbers and we print all information on each card so it fits in a 5x7 inch loose binder. We have used InTouch software for many years and it has served us extremely welll, however, the publisher (The Prairie Group) has not, and apparently has no plans to update their software to be compatible with any Mac OSX OS beyond 10.6. Any help will be appreciated!
You can select what you want included in a list format. In the Print command from Contacts, click the Show Details button. Then in the Style pulldown menu select "Lists" and there you'll be able to select what you want included. You can also select what you wish included if you select the Pocket Address Book style.
If neither of those options will work for you, then you will need to look to third-party software. Here's one possibility that seems to get good reviews:

I buy all of our movies on our apple TV that is associated with my apple ID. I want to put a movie on my wife's new iPad but it gives me a 90 day warning that she won't be able to download anything. Do we really have to buy two copies of the same movie? There has to be a way for one family to share movies on all of our devices.
Ahh, thank you! What a pain in the neck. I figure I must have been signed into his account at some other point in time, maybe after... watching a movie..? [Though, that'd be the iTunes store, right? Not the App Store.] Anyway, some situation must've occured where I absentmindedly updated and iPhoto is now tied up with his account.
I'll go ahead and contact support to see if they can get me sorted. I suppose I can just ask him for his password, but.. oh, you know, it's a temporary solution and I guess I was just hoping to easily get iPhoto properly associated with myself again. Thank you! -

It sounds like your iCloud Apple ID has a phone number associated with it that you would like to update. If this is the case, after signing in to the linked website below, you will see a section on the left side of the screen labeled Phone Numbers. You can edit the phone number associated with that account from there.

My messages won't say the contact name only shows the phone number, how do you change this when the contact is in my phone under that number already?
I thought that at first, but I have text this person before and had received responses in a timely manner. Its just weird that it all of a sudden removed their name.
Would this affect the delivery of the text message?
