I want to put my name/logo on the bottom of my pictures

I've been looking around for a place to put names in the corner of my pictures but I have over 1000 of them, Is there a quicker way to do it or do I have to do them all 1 by 1?

Well if you post your question in the main Photoshop forum we assume you are using Photoshop and not Elements.
I don't think it can be done that way in Elements.

Score and logo on the bottom of the screen

Is it just me, or does anyone else find having the score and logo on the bottom of the screen during football extremely irritating? It seems to be in your face all the time. Far better to have it at the top, where most of the time it blends in with the crowd and you only notice it when you want to look at it. I remember Sky did this for a few weeks a couple of seasons ago but soon switched back. I've emailed BT about it and they say they're sticking with it. If enough of us complain they should change it.

I don't find the logo/score at the bottom a problem during footie matchess .... It is however a problem during tennis coverage when the nature of the camera position (normally it is full court view from one end) when the server is at the top end the receiver and their movement is often obscured by the logo or score.
There was one broadcast a few weeks ago from Canada where the broadcaster had an extra large name and srore box in the bottom left - and the player was almost full obscured when hitiing a shot out wide.

When I use camwow, and I take a picture, then i tap the the little thingy that lets you see it. The picture doesnt show. It just shows a black screen with the camwow retro logo in the bottom right corner....PLEASE HELP IMA CRY.

How do I put a image logo at the end of my video?

I recently migrated to a Mac from 25 years on a PC, but I'm having trouble with a little problem. I can't find a way to put my logo at the end of the videos I create. I've watched the tutorials, and the logo always ends up cropped, no matter what size I make it. So if I can't do that, is there a way to make a title card with an image instead of text? -- if I can't recreat the transparent logo I want, then maybe I could try thsat.

Just like japamac said, but be aware that if you use the fully automatic settings, it will only show as long as the other slides, Don't put too much there!
You can also use Pages and save as a PDF.
(PS, you might get better answers if you ask in the form for that software, in this case iDVD)

How to put a repeatable shadow at the bottom of a wine bottle

I'll select an image of a bottle (beer or wine) and it's all nice and clean around the bottom, totally isolated from the background. I've asked Photoshop savvy friends how to do this and they all have come up with some workaround that is not repeatable. Check out this image from a wine makers' website: the shadow at the bottom is the same from shot to shot and I'm sure is added at the bottom in post, not when the bottle was photographed. How to do this?
Attached is an image of a bottle with shadow from the website and one of my own bottle images with no shadow. Remember, it's got to be a repeatable shadow that I can add to any "finished" image and not have to worry about selecting around the nebulous outline of the shadow. Thanks.

1) create a circle shape
2)squish the circle down to give it its shape
3)Move the shape layer below the image layer
4)Convert the shape layer to a smart object
5)Apply a guassian blur to the shape
6)Reduce the opacity of the shape layer
7)reposition the shape layer if needed.
The above assumes the bottle is on its own layer with no background
If necessary to remove the white background you can you the quick selection tool to select the white and hit the delete key. To make sure the bottle will be on a transparent background, you must unlock the image layer by dragging its lock icon to the trashcan before hitting the delete key.
Once all the steps above are done, you can apply a new background by either filling a new layer with a color and moving that layer below all other layers.
or
use the solid color adjustment layer and set its color to your choosing and then move that layer below all other layers.

After installing updates the tab bar is at the top of the page. I want to have it on the bottom like it was before the updates.

How can I keep Itunes from wanting to put my music cd in the compilations folder. Even a 2 disc set sometimes itunes will place one cd in a folder of the name of the band and the other disc in the compilations folder under the name of the cd

Two issues. The first one is that when I upload some music cd's into my itunes library, itunes wants to place the songs in a compilations folder. Sometimes this occurs even with a 2 or 3 cd set. One CD will be filed under the artists name and the disc 2 may be filed in the compilations folder and listed by the name of the cd and not the artist.
2nd issue is that sometimes cd's are similiar, but with different artists such as 20th century Hits of Neil Young. The CD is filed in the compilations folder. Than I upload the 20th century Hits of Tanya Tucker and the songs go into the same folder with Neil Young. The don't even mix as one is county and the other is rock.
I have moved these CD's out of the compilations folder and moved them in with the other cd's by the same artist, but Itunes keeps moving them back into the compilations folder.
Is there a fix

Generally setting a common Album title and Album Artist will fix things.
For compilations that aren't, select all tracks, Get Info, and on the option tab set Part of a Compilation to No. If it already says No tick the box alongside, then click OK.

You can change the title which displays under the thumbnails. The description, however, is located in the Info drawer and is not visible under the thumbnail. Just be sure you have the View ➙ Titles selected in the View menu:

I have 1600 songs in my itunes account that I want to put on my nano 8GB - the guy in the store assured me that they would all fit in fact he said that 2000 would fit. However when I tried to download them I got a message saying that there was not enough

Someone suggested removing the album covers - is there a was to compress the songs I have out there.

1600 songs... it depends the individual size of each track. Not all tracks take up the same storage space.
If you want to have all 1600 tracks on one iPod, you need a larger iPod.
