I had to uninstall and then reinstall the creative cloud software and now it is asking me to renew my subscription. I sign in to my account and I do not have a plan. What now?

The HT4098 page that you posted from has instructions for stopping iTunes auto-renewing subscriptions, do they not work ?
e.g. if doing it on your phone then go to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on it and tap on your id, and then tap on 'sign in' on the popup to log into your account and view your account's details. Scroll down to the 'Manage App Subscriptions' section and tap on it :
To turn off auto-renewal:
From your Manage App Subscription page, choose an app subscription.
Tap the subscription category for which you want to disable auto-renewal.
Tap On to toggle the switch to Off.

Did you get the sub through an app? If so, that app should have a support page or a way to contact them. Their support page should also have a FAQ that would cover cancelling your sub.

Do this: Open iTunes on a computer (Not on your iPhone) > Store > View my account (and notice the email address next to it, is it correct?, it doesn't matter, go to the next step) > Enter your iTunes password > Payment type,click "edit" > (now look at the email address associated with the Paypal icon, is it correct?, it doesn't matter, go on to the next step) > click the Paypal icon (it will take you to Paypal website) > log into Paypal > click Agree and Continue > make sure it says "You have successfully created a billing agreement." Now go to your iPhone and download an app to make sure everything works correctly again.

Why not use the obvious alternative: Stay with CS6?
Many do.
That will give you at least as much compatibility with others using Adobe applications as will a switch to Corel.

I see that you have an Acrobat Pro subscription. To cancel that, please Contact Customer Care. Choose Acrobat from the top drop-down menu, and then choose Membership, Account, and Payment. Click the blue "Still Need Help?" button at the bottom of the page to find both phone and chat options.
