I want to rebuild my Subscriber

Hello
I got this problem for my cucm version System version: 7.0.2.20000-5
Product Part Number: MCS7825I3-K9-CMC1.
I want to rebuild my Subscriber , my publisher is working fine , only the subscriber has an issue and I m thinking in rebuild it .
I have taken a backup successfully for both of my server's publisher and subscriber .
I don't know the security password configured for the replication .
any advice about rebuild the subscriber ? can I configure any security password during the installation of my subscriber ? then later I will do restore for my subscriber .
because Idon't want to face any DB replication issue ,
Kind Regards
Mohammed Khamis

Hello,
As you need the TFTP data on the subscriber, then you need to restore a good backup after the rebuild ( database replication copies all data form publisher to subscriber except for tftp data).
And as you need to a restore, the security password must match, so you need to proceed as below:
1. Change Security password on BOTH Publisher and Subscriber, this require a reboot.
2. Take a new backup from BOTH publisher and subscriber,
3. Rebuild the Subscriber.
4. Restore the backup in the Subscriber only.
If the subscriber currently not running and there is no way to get it running, then your only way is to change the security password on the publsiher only and re-install the sub  without doing any restore. In this way the TFTP data on Sub will be lost, but there no that impact upon proceeding this way.
Thank you,
Shadi

  • How do I restore playlist folders from iPod classic to iTunes? The library is intact, but the playlists are not and I don't want to rebuild them from scratch!

After reformatting my HD and reimporting all songs back into iTunes succesfully, the playlist folders are gone and I don't want to rebuild them from scratch. How do I restore playlists from iPod classic to iTunes 11.1.3 without resorting to 3rd party options?

I actually tried that in "my computer" by renaming the drive and then got this:
    g-raid (F:) (H:)
then after reading your reply realized I should try renaming it in "disk management" and hey! it worked.
Thanks a lot for the advice.
Now I don't understand why my back-up drive isn't automatically adding the files when I import into the Ex-HD but I'll figuree it out.

  • Hi, I want to rebuild my g/f's lost itunes as a surprise. What is the easiest and stealthiest way to buy tracks via my macbook for her itunes?

    Hi,
I want to rebuild my g/f's lost itunes as a surprise. What is the easiest and stealthiest way to buy tracks via my macbook for her itunes? To be clear I don't want to buy her vouchers I want to buy the songs myself. I don't have access to her itunes account and to ask would give the game away. I don't want to own or listen to the songs myself but I struggle to think of an approach that doesn't involve some sort of piracy.
She currently has zero tracks having lost them all so the only thing I can think of is starting an entirely new account in her name and filling it and then giving it to her on a hard drive. Is this the best way to go about it?
    Many thanks,
    Andrew

There is no really good way to do what you want. Any tracks you purchase via your own iTunes Store account are for your personal use, tied to your iTunes Store account, and can't be given to anyone else. If you don't want to gift the tracks to her and can't access her iTunes Store account, the only option other than creating her a completely new iTunes Store account (which will require a new email address for her) is to buy the CDs those tracks are on.
    Regards.

  • Computer formatted - want to rebuild iTunes library & get playlists back!

I had to get my computer formatted a while ago. My files were saved, including the iTunes folder in My Documents. I have downloaded iTunes and added my music to the library, but I have no idea how to get my playlists back. I've worked really hard to put them together. My iPod isn't synced yet, mostly because I don't want to lose my playlists and play counts, but I'm getting new albums and I will need to sync sometime. How can I rebuild my iTunes library, or at least get the playlists back? Please help, I beg you.

    Hi
This came off these forums and was posted by MacMuse (I think)
" The manual way around this problem is to use the iPod in its alter ego - that of portable computer disk drive. Successfully tested under iTunes for Windows 4.2 & 4.5; Windows XP. And follow these directions LINE BY LINE or iTunes will erase everything on the iPod.
    - Start with the iPod disconnected from the computer - DON'T CONNECT IPOD YET
    - open iTunes
    - open iTunes Preferences - this blocks iTunes from seeing an iPod connection; leave the preferences window up and running
    - connect the iPod to the computer, wait about 15 seconds before continuing
    - open 'My Computer'
    - Tools menu, Folder Options, View tab, enable 'show hidden files /folders'
    - open iPod icon in My Computer
    - open iPod_Control folder
    - you should see a folder named Music
    - drag this folder to somewhere on your computer hard drive
    - after the copy completes, right-click the new Music folder on your hard drive and select 'Properties'
    - clear the checkmark next to 'Hidden'
    - Close that explorer window
    - eject iPod from System tray "Safely Remove Hardware" icon.
This icon looks like a small gray rectangle with a green arrow floating above it. It's only there when a removable device (like the iPod in this case) is attached to the computer. Right-click & select 'Safely remove..', then click 'Stop' in the next window, OK in the next window, and then Close to complete the ejection.
    - disconnect the iPod from the computer
    - go back to iTunes, cancel the preferences window
    - File menu \ Add folder to Library \ find that Music folder copied over from the iPod
Your iTunes library should be back in action!"
This worked for me when I had to repartition and reformat my hard drive.

  • I have a new computer and want to download my subscribed Export PDF

I am subscribed to Adobe Export PDF, and have just updated my credit card data and want to download, how do I do that without incurring additional costs over the annual $ 19.99 ?

    Hi Zukanunu,
ExportPDF is a web-based service.  You can access it with your Adobe ID from any system by visiting http://exportpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html
You can also access ExportPDF from within our free Adobe Reader software.  You can download Adobe Reader here: http://get.adobe.com/reader
With either of the above solutions, you can leverage the subscription you've already paid for.
Let us know if you have any questions!
    Thanks,

  • IPhoto 08 exclamation points due to referenced photos.  Have reverted back to Managed, trashed problem images, and want to rebuild library or create new library.  However, Originals folder contains aliases of deleted images.

    1. Will broken images in Originals folder hinder making a backup copy, rebuild, or other attempts at repair?  I have Time Machine, never used it, and don't know when when iPhoto became referenced library (due to bad advice)  2. Is it OK to delete broken aliases from the Originals folder (white squares with arrows, jpeg tags, and a Quicktime logo)?  3. Would it make sense to select undamaged images in the Orginals folder for copying to a new library?  I am cleaning up Events and exporting healthy photos from iPhoto before trying to copy the entire iphoto library folder.  Thanks for your help.

What do you mean by "broken images"?
Never delete anything from the Originals folder, ever.
    Try
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • Want to rebuild mailbox from client cache...how?

    My System:
    Xserve G5, 5GB RAM, 2 x 2Ghz Dual core xeons, Mac Os x Server 10.5.1 (build 9B18).
    The Issue:
One of my users reported that he can't log in, For no apparent reason, the directory administrator was denied access to change the password, SO I deleted the user, re-created the same user with the same secondary mail partition (i am using a separate drive for the mail store location, the mail db as well as a secondary partition) All mail is stored on the secondary partition (/Volumes/mail/secondarypartition).
Now when the re-created user logged in, he couldn't see any of his previous mail. His mail store location was also wiped clean. He does have a cache on the lab machine. I have to reconstruct his old mailbox from his local cache on the lab machine... could any one guide me as to how I go about this?

I have a crude but effective solution after poking around at the contents of the mail cache. First of all make a backup of the IMAP folder (~/Library/Mail/IMAP-user@domain).
Then (with Mail off, although I don't think it makes any difference),copy the entire IMAP cache folder to the ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes folder which is the local mailbox store.
Then you need to rename all of the imapmbox folder to become plain old mbox folders. Pick your method as you see fit. I just did a:
    find . | grep imapmbox$ > fixnames.sh
And then a couple of cleanup routines to produce the rename commands.
Once you have that, you can start Mail up and you'll see a new local folder containing your old IMAP hierarchy. But we're not there yet. You now need to go folder by folder and choose Mailbox > Rebuild on each one.
I did poke around in the Applescript dictionary but it would appear that's not a command exposed to the Applescript API (which is too bad since I have a lot of folders here...).
The last step would be copying all of that back up to the IMAP server.
    Best of luck!

  • Mailbox keeps wanted to rebuild

Can anyone tell me why I've gotten this dialog popping up 3 times over the last week?
I selected rebuild twice and then Quit the other 2 times.

Is there a chance he doesn't have the most updated version of iTunes?

  • I paid for CC. I want a Paid Professional Subscriber splash page!

Yes, I know it's a minor nit-pick, but I'm already tired of seeing the "Softwarename Trial" splash page when I open my CC apps. I realize that it needs to verify my subscription, but couldn't there be a slightly different verification page for paid subscribers? One where the default response button would be to sign in with your Adobe ID, rather than the "Continue Trial" (not applicable) or "License This Software" (already done) buttons.

How frequently are you having to go through the "Softwarename Trial" splash page and complete the "License This Software" process again?
A few more questions I was curious about:
    - Are you on a Windows or Mac computer? which version?
    - Is the behavior happening in all products?
I'm moving this thread over to our download/installation forum.

    INDEXTYPE IS CTXSYS.CONTEXT PARAMETERS

    hi,
you should ask this question to: Text for get answers faster.
by the way, if you installed Oracle Text (which is default on installation) ctx_ddl package is also comming too.

  • Can I subscribe to podcasts on different computers and keep the subscriptions separate ?

I am managing two different itunes libraries on two different macs with the same apple ID.
I whish to keep these two libraries separate, not only for songs (easy) but also for podcasts (my main question).
I don't want to end up subscribing to a podcast on one computer and having it pop up on the other.
I don't want to delete a podcast on one computer and having it dissapear on the other.
In brief I don't want to have my podcast subscriptions and the individual podcasts synced between the libraries although they are sharing the same apple ID.
    Side note :
    - The recent iTunes updates (september and october 2013) have put a big mess in my podcast librarie(s) by deleting (trashing without notice) huge chunks of podcasts, generally podcasts part of no longer existing subscriptions.
To resolve the issue I had to manually recover the podcast files from a backup. I also went into each outdated subscritions (for which I wish to keep the podcast files) and manually mark them as "unsubscribe" - which is normally not needes as the feed does not exist anymore. I also went into each "active" podcast in order to confirm "Disable auto-delete" in the popup menu. In short : I lost a full day of work, and don't have any trust on how Podcasts are managed in the most recent versions of iTunes (11.1.1, 11.1.2, 11.1.3).

What types of edits are you doing? and what is the source of the table (or its original formatting)?

  • Bridge Rebuilding Cache on External Drive Unnecessarily – How Can I Stop It ?

I have Bridge CS4 on a MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Connected to the laptop is a Firewire hard-drive on which I am storing my images.
For some unknown reason, and only from time-to-time, Bridge wants to rebuild the entire cache in any given folder.
For example, last night I added some new RAW files to a folder, waited until Bridge had added them to the cache cache before closing down.  So the cahche was complete.  This morning Bridge is rebuilding the entire cache to the folder (as I write)  – for ALL the RAW files – thumbnails, previews, and full size extractions.  As you can imagine, with a folder containing hundreds of images, this is very tedious; also the hard-drive and laptop get very hot and bothered.
Note:  the above is only an example, and the rebuilding appears to occur at any time and under any circumstances (but only when Bridge opens a folder previously cached).  BTW this doesn't happen on the Mac's internal drive.
Now, I have selected the 'Authomatically Export Cache To Folders When Possible' option in the Preferences, and checked that the cache file is present in the folder (it is), so this shouldn't – in theory – happen.
Can anyone shed any light on why Bridge keeps rebulding the cache to the external drive, and what I might be able to do to stop it ?

    Curt, thanks for your reply.
Tons of disk space !  And the cache is not very large – 130Mb.
Permissions (!??!) – therein lies a ‘mares nest’* of possibilities…
The powering-up/recognition may be something to do with it.  I will monitor this and see if I can spot a pattern.
Many thanks for your suggestions.  I will report back in due course.

  • I want someone to help me redesign an existing site using Dreamweaver.

I am a marketing consultant and built a web site several years ago with FrontPage as the tool. I've now downloaded it into Dreamweaver and can edit it there but want to find a template (or a consultant) who can help me take it to another level. When I looked on the Adobe site at possible templates, I ended up talking to people who want to rebuild in Wordpress - which is not what I want to do.
I would like to be able to add some capabilities (like Search, log in, image sliders) and an updated look.  But I need to be able to maintain it myself over time.
I've been building web sites since 1996 and am finding it difficult to keep up with ALL of the technology (Ajax, Spry, whatever!).
Can someone help me?   Needless to say, I'm expecting to pay for services but want it to be in the Dreamweaver world, not WordPress.
    Thanks!
    Barbara

In one breath you're saying it's difficult to keep up with ALL the new web technologies and in the other breath, you want complete control over maintaining your site.   How do you intend to do this with DW if you don't understand ALL those technologies?  Just saying...
