I want to remove a saved login user name which always shows in my ist of usernames

I inadvertanly typed my password at the end of a user login name and now this always shows in the list of usernames when I type the first characters of the username. Which is used constantly.

I done Without log in Jsp page to open one responsibility without login .
here created one column Created by here user can view list of values in username . it EAM module work request page .
my issue is while creating the work request Created by name saving in to the database but requirement is user needs to select using created by LOV that username needs to be save on data base .
once open the application created by name is coming as a login name using controller i removed the created by i set the created by name in PR is lovevent .
front end its working fine but while saving login user name is saving i need to save the created by name based on the lov .
can any one help to overcome this issue......

It is a Standard Page and created by column Passing in the package while inserting the data FND_GLOBAL.UserID.
I have One more option i need to pass the created by as perameter in Jsp Page based on that user i need to get the password using (Encrprit ) command .
Is it Possible to do in Passing the Parameter OAF to JSP page .and how to Encrprit the password to avoid entering the password .

You can remove all saved passwords in the Password Manager
*Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

You can also use Clear Recent History to clear the saved passwords and maybe the form data as well when you close Firefox.<br />
Form data can also be cleared during a session via History > Clear Recent History.

We need a self secure page which doesn't prompt for oracle username and password in OAF
We devloped such page in OAF but every time it is displaying Login User Name As Guest.

I want to find out my OSUSER Name from OAF .my requiremnet is based on login user i need to restrisct or display data on page.
If i execute below query from database is giving my OSUSER name but same is giving Server name if i execute same sql through OAF.

If you are using BIP11g and using the default installation then BIP11g security mode is set to Fusion Middleware.
All users and groups are controlled by Fusion Middleware Security.
Any authenticated user will be able to run reports as in former BIP releases "guest".
But also noticed the authenticated user will also have a privilege you want to remove
as for example permission to delete report.

I tried deleting the cloud account, being told the current e-mails would be spared. But all it did was pop up a prompt asking me for the password to my still current email ID. So I assume now that I have to go to mail and get rid of the e-mail account. But I'm scared I'll lose everything in my other devices too.

You can change the email address you use as your apple ID. this doesn't mean you have to delete the old email address as email.
When you delete an email from your device, it is only removed from the device, it does not delete your emails or the email account.

Using the login user name in the report

UserName() function in one textbox is not refreshing and not giving the login-user name in the existing forms

Scenario :
I put one textbox in infopath 2010 form and using "userName()" function on this textbox.
this function give us current username which is log-in into the site.
and i am applying rule on the other controls on the basis of this textbox users login-id.
This is working in one list.
Now I am using the same thing in form library:
but if I create one form and user which login are displaying on this textbox.
but when i loggin the same site with another user and to open the same form there is still the name of the user which save the form not showing user name which is currently login.
and If I click on "Add Document" then in the new form at this textbox the login user is showing.
I don't know why it is not working or refreshing .
Although I selected the "Refresh value when formula is recalculated" in the textbox properties.

You need to set this function on form load instead of textbox. Just click on form load from ribbon then add an rule and set this textbox value to userName(). Don't put any condition.

I am not sure if you can remove specific entries. But if you want to remove all of your history, or history from a certain time period, you can do so by:
* History (or menu [[Image: New Fx Menu]] > History) > Clear Recent History
Select Form & Search history, and anything else you would like to clear.
You can change your settings as well to automatically delete this information in:
* For Windows: Tools (or [[Image: New Fx Menu]]) > Options > Privacy
You can choose to Never Remember History or set custom settings to only clear certain information when Firefox closes.

Login user name of working PC.

Hi all,
I want to find the login name (or user name) of the working computer. So try this.
        com.sun.security.auth.module.NTSystem NTSystemUser = new
            com.sun.security.auth.module.NTSystem();
        NTSystemUser.getName();getName() gives the user name. But I'm not sure weather this is work on UNIX, Mac and so on. On windows it is working fine, because NTSystem always gives the system informations.
One thing to I have say, to test this code I don't have a Linux system. All the things done on just referring the Java documentation and this is the only way I found.
Anybody can help me to correct my code, if it is wrong.

A site has saved some user names/passwords but will no longer offer the option; how can I fix this?

The local library web site I use allowed me to save my data and one child's data. When I went to add my other 2 children's data, it will not allow me to save the user names and passwords. I cannot find any information on why this happened or how to get it to save again. I would either like to find a setting to turn this back on for this site or if I could manually enter the data into a file some where. Other sites will still let me save the info. Is this a setting or something their web site has altered?

now what is my question is I want to open the database with the user name with password.... y i need this because once i run the program the program should ask username and password to open database for write/read operation. if its wrong user name and password means program should be denied...
can any tell how to access the database toolkit with the username with password....
im using labview 7.0...

and one more things can tell wat to do in ODBC and MDB and in UDL for password lock.. each time i run the promgram it should ask password to acces the database..

Saved logins work, but don't show - window blank and can't show passwords

This has been happening for quite some time now, but I need to resolve it before it can't be. My saved logins work, but when I try to display them I get an empty display. The 'Show Passwords' button is grayed out so no love there.
The dates on my pertinent files:
signons.sqlite 7/23/2010 (looks like it's frozen in time)
signons.sqlite-journal 3/28/2011 (today)
key3.db 3/14/2011
I've tried password exporter add-on and password editor add-on and nothing seems to be able to disply/export my logins and/or passwords. There has to be a trick to get this thing working again. I remember trying to find a fix earlier and it was talking about UTF8 or something on the older signons.txt file.
How do I get my Tools->Options->Security->Saved Passwords
to display my (probably hundreds of) logins and passwords so I can export them for backup ?

PS: I do have problems with logins saved since last July that I try to change. It's like it reverts back to the old ones that were saved prior to the FF bug that caused them not to be visible rather than the new ones that I try to save now. Not sure if new logins work right or not, I'm not sure which ones to try that were saved after July (to make a test).

To check whether it's the database being corrupted, I would try deleting the entries that you think are corrupt (after backing up the file of course) to see whether it then shows up in the password manager.
FYI, entries not looking like others doesn't necessarily mean they're corrupt. There are different types of entries, which use different sets of fields. A web form entry uses hostname, formSubmitURL, username, password, usernameField, and passwordField; whereas an HTTP authentication entry uses hostname, httpRealm, username, and password (although in the table username and password become encryptedUsername and encryptedPassword); for other protocols, generally only the hostname, username, and password fields are used.
I hope you can recover your database one way or another. Because of the encryption and the paucity of documentation, it's not easy to retrieve passwords other than through the Password Manager, though I'm sure it's possible. I don't know of any other software that decrypts the database even without a Master Password set, except probably that written for the purpose of stealing passwords, which should never be trusted. If you do find such software and you know it to be trustworthy, let us all know.
