I want to reset iphoto. i dont understand how to do it

i have looked up how to reset iphoto. but people are saying to quit iphoto and then find user name libary. what user name? this make no sense to me help !

If you want to get rid of all your photos and start over, click the house icon in the sidebar of a Finder window. That opens your home folder. Inside that is a folder named "Pictures," and inside that is the iPhoto library. Quit iPhoto and move the library to the Trash. The next time you launch iPhoto, it will prompt you to create a new, empty library.
I strongly suggest that you back up all data before doing this, in case you change your mind later.

You can do it by going to settings, general, software update. Or you can connect it to iTunes and it should prompt you to update.

HT1926 is there anyway around not being able to download itunes on the surface i downloaded an app for the RT call RTremote and its for itunes but i dont understand how it works

It is not possible to install iTunes on a Windows RT device. The RT device is not a full scale computer OS.

The way you have used the word 'search' create some uncertainty in my mind as to what you are asking for. I suspect that what you really want is a 'true' or 'false' that a given string matches some pattern. There are other ways to do this but ...
"any character but nothing of "abcd" " then use Matcher.matches() using regex "[^abcd]*" .
"any character but no 'dot' at any position" then Matcher.matches() using regex "[^.]*" .
"any character but no 'dot' at position 4" then Matcher.matches() using regex "(?!.{3}\\.)" .

Dont understand how to convert my videos to my ipod

ok, i downloaded videora and i converted a short movie. now, i dont know what to do from there. i managed to get it into my library, but when i go to "update" nothing shows up in the video section of my ipod. please help, im going crazy. thanks.

Ok. I am at my witts end. I don't know where to start. This is too complicated. I'll try to start at the beginning. I have the videora ipod converter. I have windows. I was able to get a few videos on my ipod (mpeg) but when you go to "videos" they are not there. They are in "movies." AND THEY DO NOT PLAY THE VIDEO!!! The sound plays, but NO VIDEO!!! Nothing seems to be working. What should my settings be in "convert" and in "setup"? I need "DUMMIES" for IPOD 5G. THe only video that plays on my ipod THE VIDEO is the one I purchased from Apple. The videos I have in itunes play normally, except one, the format is probably wrong. I do have several videos in my itunes but I don't know if they are in the correct format to go to ipod. The video converter says "complete", but it never took time to convert it. I just read on apple's website that ipod accepts H.264 and mpeg-4 video. I also can't seem to get my Limewire videos converted. I have read the previous threads and for some reason I just can't get it. Please, someone give me the BASICS in SIMPLE terms. Thanks

What exactly did you do? You can not "download" iCloud. iCloud is a service you can either use or not use. Using iCloud does not prevent you from using AOS or anything else.

alright so this has to do with something called gridworld, if you ever seen it you know what it is, if you havents its basiclly a java built world that has bugs, rocks, flowers, and other things.

alright getting to the point i have the code for a bug someone build called a "chameleoncritter". what the bug does is change colors depending on what it is next to, so if it is next to a pink rock it changes pink, ive been reading the code and can honestly not figure out how this method changes its color depending on what it is next to. here is the code

I would take it back to the store and have them do this for you, that should be a condition of the purchase. However the easiest method is to boot into the Recovery Partition (Command + R) on startup, use Disk Utility to erase the HD and then install OS X again. This will give you a fresh start.

What is your machine (series & model/product) ? Which OS are you using. In general, go to Sounds, select "Palyback device", pick one and "Enable" it.
