I want to reset my iphone 4 back to factory setting. How do i backup my info
My iphone is so messed up since i updated the ios7. i want and backup my info of my phone then reset to factory setting. how do i do that?
The other option is to plug your device via usb into your computer. (make sure Itunes is already installed). Itunes will recognize your device, and give you the option to do any updates that may be available, and back up to that computer.

Is there a special reason to do it with iTunes? You can do it on the phone by going to Settings/General/Reset - Erase all content and settings.
To do it using iTunes connect the phone to your computer using a USB port directly on the computer, not a USB hub. Click on its name in iTunes, then click Restore iPhone. When the Restore finishes choose to set up as a new device.
Note that for either method you will have to disable Find my iPhone first, either in Settings/icloud on the phone or by logging in to https://icloud.com/find. -
Why is it when i plug my iphone in to sync,i get a corrupt file message cant sync.It wants to reset my phone back to factory settings and i lose all my phone.It has happened 5 times to me now.
well, you probably have a corrupt file as the message indicates. You will need to reset your phone back to factory settings as indicated.
If you've been using your phone as designed, you've been making frequent backups so that data loss will be minimal, if at all.

I have a iPhone 5. In usage, it says i have 2.1 gigs used because of photos and camera. I have deleted all my photos via iPhoto and now reset the phone back to factory settings in order to try to solve this problem, to no avail. Both iTunes and the phone say that 2.1 gigs are being used, even though the phone now has nothing on it. What is going on?
Yeah it works fine over wifi the problem is when I try to use it over my 3G. It's really stressing me out now.

Place your iPhone into recovery mode as described here. You may have to try to enter recovery mode more than once to succeed.

My iphone 4s is no longer detecting wifi since the IOS8 updates came out. I've restarted, rest the networks, reset the phone back to factory settings, and even tried the freezer trick. It is STILL not detecting ANY wifi networks. HELP!!! I cannot afford to go over my data and I use wifi at home and work... I believe the updates have caused the issue, because it was working fine before the second update released (I hadn't put the first one one until I noticed it had stopped working, and by then the second IOS8 version had came out). They need to do a third update to fix this issue.
If it's grayed out:
Reset Network Settings - if that doesn't fix it, then Backup and Restore AS A NEW DEVICE.
If it's still grayed out, unfortunately that means your Wi-Fi antenna quit, and it needs service. -
At Apple Store we reset my Iphone 4s to factory settings in an unsuccessful bit to fix my Wi-fi problem. Now I'm home trying to get my contacts, pics, etc. back. I'm lost...

Please can someone assist me on what to do on the following;
After update of my iphone 3GS ios. I found out that my iphone has returned back to factory setting and it shows No Service on the top left corner of my iphone screen. It equally shows on the screen that I have to set up the iphone before using it again. I followed the on screen display then get connected to a WiFi, but the response I was getting is that the Set up Server cannot be contacted please try again latter. I chose the option of using itune through my Laptop. The response I was getting here is that my iphone cannot be connected the itune store because my iphone was not found.
I am regretting why I updated the ios. Please, can someone advise me on what to do please.

It sounds like there’s an issue with Settings, the Notes app entry isn’t showing up as expected. Take a look at the article linked below and try restarting your iPhone 3GS.

I am not sure but it may be 3G. How to find out? Actually I wanted to download watsapp and when I tried I got message "It requires iOs ver 4.3 or above." And together I get box asking to upgarde, but it does not.

I resetted iphone 4 to factory setting so i can pass it to my brother since i brought a new iphone 5. But when my brother took over this iphone 4, he can't charged the iphone & it seems that the battery can't hold the power. Tried using both charger & USB, the same problem persisted. I saved it anyway and when I go to the Exchange email account it says "Cannot Get Mail" "The connection to the server failed." We are running Microsoft Exchange 2010 and I was always able to sync my calendar and email before I upgraded to IOS 6.

I just tranfer all my photo from my Mac from itune to my Iphone so I can setup Mac back to factory setting after I don't with that, I try to put my photo back to my Mac and Iphoto did not detect any of the photo that I had tranfer from itune it only detect the one rhat i took with the Iphone PLAESE HELP!!!!!!

It sounds like you may use a POP account for your email. With a POP account, email applications like Mail and Outlook can remove emails from the server, so when another device tries to check the server for new emails, it doesn't see any.
You may need to adjust settings in Outlook so that the emails are not removed from the server when downloaded. I found an article with more information:
When using a POP email account with multiple devices, email messages may only appear on the first device that receives them. This occurs when an email client is configured to automatically remove email from the server once an email client has received it. You can configure your email client (or clients) either to keep a copy of the email on the server, remove it after a certain number of days have passed, or keep it until you move it from your Inbox.

Does anyone know if my iphone 5s contents are backed up automatically within icloud. Because i need to take back to factory setting and prob will lose everything on my phone
If iCloud Backup is turned on in Settings->iCloud->Backup
The iPhone will backup automatically, when its plugged in, locked, and connected to Wifi.
So if you let it charge while connected to wifi recently for a few hours and did not use it, it probably backed up.
If you can still access the iPhone, you can check the date of the last iCloud backup in Settings->iCloud->Backup -
