I want 4.0 to look like 3.6 with large separate icons for last page, next page, reread current page and go to home page, in lieu of the little icons to the right of the
default navigation toolbar. I tried setting up a separate toolbar but it never reappeared. There should be a way to just restore 3.6 look and feel. Otherwise I will go back to 3.6.

Since I upgraded to FF5, I have found it difficult to acclimate myself to the new look. The Home button is moved and I can't move it back, for instance. The refresh button is in a different place. These things make the newer version awkward to use. Also, I had certain add-ons, specifically one that automatically opened my Home Page whenever I opened a new tab, that I especially miss. Is it possible for me to use the earlier version of Firefox that I had before this one? To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

You need Adobe camera raw version 8.7. Unfortunately your software pre-dates the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

It could be a software issue. I would reinstall the OS. You don't have to lose or reinstall any apps from archive and install. This way, your user folder remains intact but you get a fresh copy of the OS.

Sounds like Firefox is "hanging at exit". That problem is frequently caused by an Extension or a Plugin. Read all of the following articles.

The problem is that EACH TIME I open Firefox 6.0 and now 6.1 I just installed it runs a compatibility ad-on check AND then opens the "what's new?" page AS WELL AS my home page in a separate tab. I then have to close the "what's new" tab to get to home page. I never had this problem with all other previous Firefox versions. Any thoughts or suggestions. Anyone else have the problem?
If I revert back to a version 5 will it keep my bookmarks? These versions 6,o and 6.1 are just a hassle to me. I run Windows XP home.
