Create ADF applications for GlassFish runtime not possible?

I am running Eclipse with OEPE 12.1.1.2 and want to build an ADF Essentials application for GlassFish.
I have GlassFish installed into Eclipse (GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3 (Java EE 6)) and running.
I have installed ADF Essentials as instructed in FMW Admin Guide 11.1.2.3 appendix C (copied jars to lib directory of domain, set JVM parameters).
Now when I try to create an ADF Application in Eclipse, I cannot create a GlassFish target runtime. The only options I see are WebLogic 10.3.4, 10.3.5 and 10.3.6.
The "Download additional server adapters" link doesn't give me any GlassFish options.
How do I set up a GlassFish ADF Essentials runtime environment in Eclipse? Any pointers appreciated.

The version of OEPE you are using supports ADF 11g applications that can be deplyed to Weblogic Server. It doesn't support deployment of ADF applications to GlassFish and also doen't support the ADF Essentials version of ADF. These are planned for an upcoming release of OEPE.
Is the ADF application you would like to build/deploy a pure ADF Faces application or does it include ADF TaskFlow, ADF DataControls and ADF Binding?

We want to restrict PO creation for multiple plants in the same company code. Based on Standard SAP settings for Purchasing organization assignment with multiple Plant and multiple Plant assignment with single company code, this is happening. Is there a way that we can restrict by doing some customization change.

Said functionality is not available in SAP standard.
To avoid the same ,i can suggest implement release strategy for PO,and then higher authority / commercial team can check created PO,if multiple plants available in single po then they have the option of rejection for the same.
Or else check BADI-ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST,take the help from abapor and apply the restriction to select multiple plant in PO.

Restrict Select-Options for Logical Database field

The way we restrict select options for custom defined select option fields on selection screen.. can we restrict select options for standard Logical Database fields?
i.e. report uses PNPCE logical database and has field called PERNR. I want to restrict select options for this PERNR field so that it has options for 'Select single values' only.

You can user AT SELECTION-SCREEN event, and check whether any record is having high value for PNPPERNR.

Restriction data entry for input ready query

Dear All,
I have an input ready query with two structures for rows and columns.
However, I have set one of columns' structure's member as "data can be changed with planning functions", i'm able to enter data for that column. When i execute save function, entered valus are being disapperaed.(not benig written to the cube)
But i want to restrict data entrance for that column. (Like display functionality in BPS)
I know i can protect fields with excel functionality, but we are using web environment.
How can i resolve mentioned issue?

Advice and Internet Software Applications for iBook G3?

Ok, So I did it late last night, or technically early this morning... I went and bought a Refurbished MacBook - Black 2.0GHz Core Duo with 512mb RAM (in 2x265 sticks which I am replacing with 2x1gb sticks purchased from TigerDirect at the same time) 80gb HDD, Superdrive, Built-in iSight, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and Airport Extreme. Basically the same as the new ones that they are selling except it is only a Core Duo and not Core2 Duo... Will get my AppleCare from LA Company (thanks Ronda for the link, they have great prices) in a month or 2 after testing out the MacBook and making sure I won't need to send it back...
Anyways, this post is not supposed to be about the bragging of the new laptop (due to arrive Tue or Wed, heh), but about finding some good mac software (hopefully freeware or shareware) to use for internet stuff on my old iBook G3, which I am giving to my roommate to use (he will use his desktop for most of his heavy speed/memory/graphics needs and the ibook as an extra mobile internet tool). Basically, he used to use a mac when he was married (an old power pc with OS9 on it) but once he moved out and got the big D, has used windows XP since then, and has never seen OSX at all I don't think, so he definitely hasn't used it before.
He mainly likes to browse web sites and use IRC (he uses mIRC) and watches the free streaming videos from sites like Yahoo... He seemed unsure whether he would find use of it (the ibook), but I am thinking it's because he doesn't know how much better it can be with OSX (10.2.8) than OS9...
So I am asking for help in a way to show some nice simple ways he could work it into his routine (while still using the desktop pc) and have it not be a hassle to "learn" and find programs he wants to use (in comparison to ones he has for windows). Again, this will be for lighter applications because of the 500 MHz speed (has 576mb RAM).
He (unlike me) does not use Mozilla Firefox and therefore does not use its extentions and themes and other add-ons, but sticks to IE7 (which is crazy), but I think it is more out of laziness to try something new and to have to go and add on the extentions (compared to if they are built-in to the browser). So since I never had much experience using the different web browsers for mac, which ones would be most like IE, I know Firefox is available for macs, are there any that are simple basic, but could have things added on to it or customized more (yes, I know I am describing Firefox)?
Also, if wanting to use an application for music, but you wanted it to be smaller than the size of iTunes (and not need as much memory while running it), is there one you would say to go for? Any good mac IRC programs (not messenger things but specific to the IRC protocol)? Ones that have additional scripts you can run for them (he is really into that, he uses Excursion 9.5 alot too)?
I do not want to throw the iBook at him and say here, use it, and walk away, and I also don't want to go and show him every little thing that it does, but want to just find some programs that he might actually use on it right away, and ease himself into using the ibook on a regular basis (I would install everthing for him, and set up all the system preferences and if he actually keeps on using the ibook, I will give him little "lessons" on how to change things, install stuff etc). I threw myself into my ibook as that is what I tend to do with anything electronic and tech like (I am the biggest tech geek around), but I know that alot of others can't do the same and need to slowly learn how to swim in the mac pool, with those floaty arm band things and floating kickboards and all...
Any advise on how to do this for someone that I know would end up loving the ibook and OSX for more basic stuff, but just needs that gentle nudge in the right direction and the right kind of software to make him feel comfortable using it, would be greatly appreciated.
And yes, if he doesn't want to use it after that nudge, I will back off and take it back to sell (or just have a 3rd laptop hanging around, but then I will feel like the old lady with an apartment full of laptops -and other lonely tech gear).

Some people use VLC for watching video, but, in my experience, you are not going to get good streaming video on a 500 MHz iBook.
Shut down all other applications and maybe even restart the iBook before trying to watch YouTube or whatever. I've not had much success with it. (You are talking about a 5½-year-old computer, after all.)
I don't even know what IRC is. It sounds like it's a chat client? If so, iChat works great for me. It uses the AIM protocol.
I would stick with Apple applications. I prefer Safari as my web browser, but Firefox would probably be my second choice. Camino is good. Other browsers out there are iCab, Opera, and OmniWeb, and I may be forgetting some of them. Safari is the one that comes with OS X, and it's my pick over all the others. Once he gets used to tabbed browsing, he will wonder what he ever saw in Explorer (and I was a die-hard Internet Explorer fan, too).
I know of no better music app for a Mac than iTunes. Just so simple.

As far as I know, RRI works at the level of record, not column... So for any column in any record where you right click and select Go To, you'll get the settings from RSBBS...
Fields and settings specified in Assignment Details are for those parameters to be transferred to the target, not for determining what columns accept the right-click or not...

Restrictions for children

Hi,
I have just invested in iPod Touch for both my children. We have already fallen in love with them and have had lots of fun already.
I have set up restrictions on both and installed a safe browser app.
This I thought would mean that anything of an unsavoury nature would be blocked but this isn't the case.
I did a test, afterall my children will want to search for games, and searched the app store after putting restrictions in place. Both in the search area and in the apps lists themselves unsuitable content showed. Admittedly they cannot download it but they can view the sales description or title bar with words like "Sex" in the title.
Can anyone advise me how we overcome this? I don't want to keep them from searching for apps but I do want to make sure they don't see anything unsuitable.

Sorry, but there's no way you can prevent your children from being able to view apps that have titles or descriptions you object to other than to disable access to the iTunes Store. Apple removed many objectionable apps a few weeks ago, but they cannot remove them everything that someone might find offensive or unsuitable for children, and at this time there is no setting, on an iPod or on a computer, that can block viewing of categories of apps based on age rating, etc, only from someone purchasing them.

Ben (support) - no that's not a time out concurrent connections are a little different then sessions and or connections. Lets say for an example you have 5 images on your site and 5 7 users come to your site this is not 7 concurrent connections but 35. They
do close after awhile hence why the 503 error comes and goes. You can have these connections close sooner using code but this is something you have to research using your favorite search engine

The link provided tells us : All Plesk accounts are limited to 200 simultaneous visitors.
From what Ben (support) says and a little extra research, if those aren't visitors but connections then it's quite easy to max out, especially if the connections aren't closed when finished using. I'd suggest forwarding this to Kasem to see what he thinks.

Yes, they can play games - there are hundreds if not thousands of games available in the iTunes Store. Beware of the "free" games; many are free for the base game but charge for things like additional levels, "coins" etc. and those paid add-ons can add up quickly, to dozens or even in some cases hundreds of dollars. I'd strongly suggest you set up restrictions on the iPad to prevent your children from making unauthorized purchases. See:

You will need an Internet provider of some sort; Apple is not a provider and so the iPad does not include a data service. You can either use a home Internet connection with a WiFi access point (aka "router") or you can get an iPad with WiFi+Cellular and sign up for a data plan with a cell carrier. WiFi through a home Internet service will probably be cheaper.

Well,
it's up to you. The first part (Mcit-Project-ViewController-context-root) is the context root which you define in the view controller project. 'faces' is the name the servlet filter reacts on. You can't omit it but shorten it in web.xml. The rest is your directory structure. I'm not sure how to shorten this other as to move the jspx files back into the web root folder.
By the way an ADF faces app never uses the .jspx at the end of the url. If you specify '.jspx', you only render the page but don't start the work flow.
