I want to revert back to wired

hi using dell ispiron 1525, win7 professional and i thought i was "wired" as the Eth.Cable is attached to router and laptop, bb slow so it turns out i am using wireless. Dont know when this happened as i am not aware of making this change it used to be wired. i have read through some forums but i am confused, i checked the settings on hub and it says wireless..aahh and the wired icon not connected although physically it is. i feel i am going round in circles. I also check netwk adapter but i cannot find a LAN connection - there used to be but that is no longer there. I was hooked up to BTFon but removed myself from that earlier in the week as i thought that may have been a problem. any suggestions. simple as poss.

It becomes clearer now- when you bought the laptop, I'm guessing it didn't have Windows 7 on, but you've since upgraded. Dell only provide drivers for Windows Vista and Windows XP on this laptop.
It looks like your LAN connection is either dead or the driver is missing. Does the light light up when you look at the network port?
You can try installing the driver for Vista from this site:

For future reference, you are really after a Windows 7 driver for Marvell 88E8040 & 88E8039 LAN chip. Dell don't provide one for your laptop, but you might be able to locate one from somewhere else.

When you installed the trial, there should have been an option to have ignored your current installation and leave it. Apparently you skipped that case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to Control Panel>Programs & Features and select the Acrobat XI and choose uninstall. After the uninstall run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean up your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in that window, do not run the cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.
You did not mention the old version you had. You might try from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. As for the S/N, you should have register and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.
Be sure to backup any download of the old installer and the S/N to CD or backup HD for future use. They will not likely continue to be available.

Sorry I misinterpreted what it was that you want to do. The following gives the current password requirements: Security and your Apple ID - Apple Support
There isn't any way to have a 6 digit numerical password -- as you already found. With the amount of password hacking going on currently, I suspect that if you were able to change it back you would be putting your account at a significant risk. I too, want to restore to my older version of Firefox after upgrading to version 4. Thank you for posting this with a link to the older version. Just for your information, the reason I want to restore the older version is because the new version is not usable with my version of Zoom text (9.11). It is so incompatible that I had to use IE in order to see the screen well enough to search for a way to revert to my older version. I also was unable to read web pages, enter data in the URL or Search windows or select menu options. . Often, when using version 4 big black blocks will appear where ever the cursor is, the menus will appear in different sizes and when I move the mouse to select a menu item the menu will jump to a new location. In short it doesn’t work at all with Zoomtext!
Really I wish you would have warned us of how different this version is and it might have been a good idea to review potential problems before upgrading. That really would have been the nice and polite thing to do! I'm visually impaired and having to search for a solution and then having to go about the un-install and re-install process is time consuming and difficult for me. If you do not like the new appearance of Firefox 4 then you can change some setting to restore the Firefox 3 appearance.
You can right click the orange Firefox button to open the toolbar menu or use (F10) View > Toolbars.
Click the Menu Bar entry to make the Menu Bar visible.
Click "Tabs on Top" to remove the check mark and place the Tab Bar at its original position just above the browser window.

You can search this forum for "reverting back to previous iTunes version" and you should find instructions which will likely be a bit involved as iTunes is part of the OS. I have not seen instructions from iTunes 12 to 11 but there are instructions posted to revert from 11 to iTunes 10.7. Here is one to read. You might want to wait until someone created a way from 12 to 11.
If you did not initiate this update, I recommend going to your App Store settings and unchecking the automatic download and/or install of apps and keep the Automatic checking enabled so you are notified.

To reverse a posting you follow the following steps:
1) Go TO PR05 select the Trip and click on "Cancel" button.The status will change to "cancel FI posting"
2) Go To PRFI - Create posting run and execute the report for your cancelled trip number in the previous step.
3) Once trip is successfully included in posting run go to PRRW Execute the report and post the documents created in previous step.
After doing this check for your FICO documents.

Itunes latest version makes it impossible to find the obscure songs I want. Apple also appears to have removed the ability to sort according to different columns like popularity, artist, album, song length, etc. Please help me find a way to find the songs I'm looking for. I am a heavy purchaser of content thru itunes and have been since my second generation ipod purchase. I find the removal of the easy way to find new music exasperating. If this is driven by the labels, then you guys need to go back to them and demand a reversion to the old ways.

Update: After having problems playing audio and video using several different browsers and apps, I realized that the problem was probably not iTunes or Apple related. I rebooted several times, to no avail, but the last reboot inexplicably seemed to do the trick. Everything is working OK again, at least for now. Weird but I'll take it!

later i removed the changes I made, but now the report doestn work as earlier.

If you add a WHERE condition in SQL, then that column will apply in FILTER section of CRITERIA Tab.
Make sure that filter was gone off, after resetting the SQL..
I think you might be missing something in reverting the changes otherwise it wouldn't be a problem.

No, sorry. There is no way back. You can disable iCloud drive, but it will not enable "Documents in the Cloud" again. You can only wait for Yosemite to be released. See the links below:

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6.* you can uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install Firefox 3.6.* available from http://www.mozilla.com - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Want To Switch Back From iOS 7 to iOS 6

So, I just updated my iOS software yesterday on my iPad 2 to the latest version, iOS 7, from the previous iOS 6. There are four or five decent new features, but FAR too many that I don't like about it...
To name a few:
- in iOS 7, the user-photos screen saver that you could turn on from the "lock screen" is now gone. With iOS 7, you have to go into your photos to turn it on.... I can't stand that. I wish Apple would put it back to turning on the photo screen saver from the iPad's lock screen.
- iOS 7 now forces my photos into a grouping organization (date and location) that I don't like. The photo backgrounds all now have a white background, which is a real strain on my eyes. Why can't users choose their own iOS color schemes without polarizing photos?
- the new iOS 7 color scheme is way too bright. Especially in Photos, Notes and in Contacts. This can't be adjusted to a darker color without inverting the colors (which also polarizes/inverts the color in any photos). I also don't like the colored app "bar" at the bottom of the home screen's page(s). Why they don't make it black, or better yet, transparent?
- you cannot pinch to re-size or adjust the size of a user-chosen photo wallpaper in iOS 7 to fit your home screen the way that you could in iOS 6. In iOS 7; it will only self-adjust and save to a size that is far bigger than your home screen, and therefore completely off-center.
- as with iOS 6, almost half of my music playlists in iTunes won't copy over to iCloud/iTunes Match: I would have to recreate the playlists from scratch in iTunes Match, which- with the enormous size of my music library (300 gigs), could take hours. I'm pretty attached to the playlists that I spent a great deal of time creating. I keep getting an error in iTunes/iCloud that there are media types "other than" Mp3's in my playlists, which I know for a fact isn't true. My iTunes playlists all have only Mp3 files. Actually, the same problem occurred in iOS 6.
- there are now more privacy settings to adjust with iOS 7, to protect your privacy from ads or user-specific ads. There is nothing that I hate more than to pay money & have to defend my basic right to not be bothered with ads/sharing of my personal info. Why this is a recurring problem with technology companies, I have no idea. Like the rest of us, I want the choice to completely to maintain my privacy. If I want to look at ads, I'll turn on the TV or open any magazine.
- in iOS 7, it is now much harder to "swipe" get to the "search screen" to keyword search for documents & emails, etc.
I'll submit this as feedback to Apple, but I'm sure it'll fall on deaf ears and I'll be permanently stuck with the current changes in iOS 7, or that the next iOS update won't be much of an improvement.
My question is- if the last time that I backed up my iPad a week ago, I had iOS 6 installed in iTunes (and haven't updated on my desktop yet to iOS 7), can't I do a complete restore of my iPad and then do a backup and revert to iOS 6? I don't care what data is lost over the last week, I just want to go back to iOS 6.
I really don't like the new iOS 7 version and want to revert back to "6", but I just read that this isn't possible anymore after the beta period is over. Is this true?

Instructions on the Apple site to do this but it didn't work. How do I revert back to the original set up? All files still on local hard disk

I moved the itunes folder to an external hard drive but it didn't work, so I want to revert back to original set up. All the files are still on the local hard disk. I have tried to reverse the steps I used previously but when I try to play a track it says original file could not be found. If I navigate to the itunes music folder and select a track direct from there it opens itunes and plays so I know the music is still on the computer I just can't figure out how to get it to play direct from itunes.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

*do not clear the Browsing History
