I want to save a shape with text as a picture

I am using Word for Mac. I want to combine images with text and save it all together as a picture or jpeg file. I am using a shape and inserted the images and added the text. I know I have done this before but I can't remember what I did. I thought it had to do with how the shape is formatted, but I have tried all the options and the option to "save as picture" is never available. I also tried inserting shapes and texts together in a text box. I tried grouping everything. I hope one of you brilliant people can help! Thanks.

You could try a detour via a PDF document and Preview:
In Word use "File > Print" and press the "PDF" button in the lower left corner. Then select "Open in Preview". This will open your image in Preview. There you can crop it and export the cropped image as a png file or a jpeg using "File > Export". Select a different format in the "Format" pop-up menu:

Rather than do that, which means starting over from scratch, losing all your edits, organisation and so on, why not simply use iPhoto Library Manager to revert the Library to the older version? Easier, less destructive.

If you really want to start over: you can access the Originals folder simply by going to your Pictures Folder and finding the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.

CAN Text Box/Shape with Text on top of Flash?

Hi,
i'm wondering, Do the Text Box/Shape with Text posible to put on top of the Flash?Do it able to read the Text after published?
I'm scratching my head...Safari Have no problem to read it but Windows user can't read the text.
Any idea?

I know you know a lot more about the internals than I do, Chris, and I hate to be argumentative, but I'm just not seeing the difficulty...
Consider that the text placement code as written today can deal with the following (hastily drawn path).
And as Paulo points out, Photoshop clearly already knows what's "inside" and what's "outside" a complex path.
Emil makes a good point about the readbility suffering if one has to follow it across breaks in the figure...
Still, who's to say whether someone wouldn't come up with a good use for this. Bottom line is this - here you have a user expecting Photoshop to do something that's expected, and it's falling short because of the implementation and not allowing him to express his creativity the way he wants....
This exercise DID bring one new idea to mind possibly for hhtun... Try using a stencil font!

Want to save Individual clips with separate names

Moving from Final cut over to Imovie. In Final Cut could save any clip with a separate name. Other than copying a clip over to a new project and rendering a move, I could not find how to do that in imovie, or in the tutorials/manual. I have spent a good deal of time bringing the HD movies over to Imovie and selecting out the clips to make a new movie. These clips must now be archived with individual names.
Any help would be appreciated,

Probably collecting everything on an artboard into a new layer might give you the option to use a script to save layers to files.
But this is a feature request but no as of yet has suggested a way that this might work, at least I do not think so.

Can't save illustrator file with text. Can't update, uninstall or reinstall.

I suddenly cannot save a simple illustrator file that contains any text. Also, I am unable to update, uninstall or reinstall illustrator. This is frustrating when you have projects due. Mac Mini - OS X 10.8.3

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall. Also check your fonts. You probably have a "bad" font i nthere somewhere that is corrupting all font operations.

Unable to save .ai files with text

Working with Illustrator CS3, and for some reason, whenever I try saving a file that I've added text to, I get the message "An unknown error has occurred" and the file doesn't get saved. Changing fonts or filename doesn't seem to help. I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 beta build 7000.

PDF opens with text & colors, no pictures..

I downloaded a guide from FilePlanet which is in partnership with Adobe I deduced, because there is absolutely no other way to open any of their files except with Digital Editions, and their website tells you directly that this is the only program that will open their files. Once you download it, you cannot redownload it. This is for all strategy guides and other magazines they offer for downloads.
I downloaded 2 guides and I already had Acrobat Reader 8, all up to date with Adobe Updater (since I use Photoshop all the time), and I installed DE, it opens the guides fine but there is just words, all the pictures of games and what not are not there, it's just words and layout colors and patterns. And I'm 90% positive even not all the words are there.
Any ideas? p.s. I am running on a Windows machine.

On a certain site when saving a file, Firefox doesn't ask me if I want to save or if I want to open the file with a particular program. How do I change that?

I want to open certain file types with a program (eg: adobe illustrator) without having to save it first but depending on the website, Firefox does not as me whether I want to save or open with...

Hi,
What ever text you are sending in the email, create a standard text for it using tcode SO10. In the program use the FM READ_TEXT to get the data into internal table which will be of length 132 char. If you want line widht of 255 chars convert using FM SX_TABLE_LINE_WIDTH_CHANGE as below,

How can I save a folder with pictures in it, on PC or MAC? (Not Camera Roll)

Dear Apple Community,
I want to save a Folder with pictures in it, that I created from the iPhone.. these photos (and videos) are available only in this folder and I don't want to loose them at all!
Whatever, how can I save this folders on my mac? and/or PC? And I don't mean the camera roll folder! Just this folder that I created on the iPhone.

Not supported by Apple. The only photos that can be imported from an iPhone are photos in the camera roll.

Firefox is not saving one of my email addresses and password (it is saving three of four). It isn't asking me if I want to save it, and there's no "Save" command under tools. I have a Mac OS10.4.11.

I have four accounts with btes.tv (served by WorldClient). Firefox asked if I wanted to save my password with three of the accounts, but it hasn't asked with the fourth. I have re-done preferences/security/save passwords several times to no avail. I don 't know what else to do.

Quick question which I was wondering if anyone could help me out. When a form has changed and you press the x button you get the message do you want to save changes? with a yes or no option. Is it possible to put code in to trigger of these yes/no buttons when clicked and if so how would I go about doing this?

I want to save updated record only in stage table from the form..

I have created form with two block
1...criteria base block
2....details block....(This database block i.e. on stage table).
I am inserting data into detail block (i.e. stage table )with no commit through find button.
data is showing there with status 'FRESH'
suppose i changed item cost, now status goes change to 'NEW'
now when i am saving it is saving all data into stage but i want to save only data with 'NEW' status.
Please Help me
I tried it by deleting data from stage where status ='FRESH' on post_update trigger but is not supporting.

Hello, right click inside your selection, select "make work path", then go to edit>define custom shape... It will now be availalbe to be reused immediately.
To make sure it is permanently saved, go to edit>Presets>presets manager, change the drop down to custom shapes, target the new shape, and clic on Save set...
