I want to see all my bookmarks in a column when I click the "Bookmarks" icon. icon.
When I click the "Bookmarks" icon, my list no longer appears. They are still there but hidden. How do I get the column listing to appear again?

When you are having problems with a site - consider weather between you and it and amount of traffic (time of day).
Bad weather can cause problems with a connection as it travels on the information highway - hazard a guess all traffic that went through Buffalo is being routed elsewhere.
Bad weather can slow down handshake etc to the point of requiring too many resends - so Ibook is timing you out. -
i dont seem able to add a web site to my bookmarks,i click the star
icon+the site is not added to my bookmarks how do i do this?If you revisit a site that you tried to bookmark, is the star yellow?
If the star is yellow, the site has been bookmarked. Clicking on the star once saves the bookmark in the "Unsorted bookmarks" folder which is not visible in the bookmarks menu, clicking on the star a second time allows you to edit the bookmark so you can move it to the folder of your choice. If I reply 'NO' Firefox does not start.
If I reply 'Yes' firefox starts as normal but In addition the 'close' tab, top right of the Firefox screen is filled with black. It works correctly if you can remembere exactly where each of the symbols isCheck that Firefox isn't set to run as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
* Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
* "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected
Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\). -
I want to be able to open a new browser window when I click on the Firefox icon on the taskbar. I don't want to have to right click and select anything. I have windows 7.
This is a "pinned" icon? Try holding the Shift key when you click it -- that seems to work for me.

I am sufficiently computer-ignorant that I haven't a CLUE as to what or why = Just that I went to search something on my default browser, and I get this weird MSN thing, with a "search" box that says "Bing". Your Firefox shortcut on the desktop may have been hijacked. You can check that by right-clicking the shortcut > Properties > Shortcut tab. For your version of Windows, the Target line should be exactly the following, no more, no less:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
If there is anything extra after that, delete it.

Can't see my mail when i click the mail icon
On my MAC desk top computer ...for some reason when I click on my mail icon the messages do not appear. Why do my settings keep changing when I have not done anything to them
The window did not open up but at the top left it showed that mail was open. What I did was shut down my computer and turned it back on. I did have to manually hold down the shut down button because I kept getting a message that said mail would not let it shut down and restart. Once I turned the computer back on it was fine. Now though and previously I have a box pop up when sending mail message that says it can't be sent with server and makes me chose another one...weird. I don't know how these things get messed up and changed because I don't know enough about them to go in and change them to begin with.

I want to sort all my bookmarks alphabetically but can't. You only let me drop a bookmark into an already-existing folder. And if that is the only way, how can I create new folders so that I can try to create meaningful folders?With the iPod connected to the computer go to the Music pane for the iPod in iTunes and check the box that says sync only checked songs. 've just upgraded to latest version of Firefox 4 and my Mac is only OSX.10.4.11 and now it won't open. How do I downgrade and get old Firefox back. Don't want to lose all my bookmarks. Why was I able to install in the first place. Very frustrated!!
You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
You can trash Firefox 4.0 then re-install Firefox 3.6, it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords etc

Want to see ALL issues and risks, not just mine. Is this possible?
I'm relatively new to Project Online, but I have four projects in it with associated risks and issues. It looks like I can only see risks and issues that are assigned to me, which is fine for now, but as these projects get further down the line (or
as I add more projects), I'm going to want to assign issues and risks to other people and as head of our nascent PMO, I'm still going to want to see ALL of the issues and risks from Project Online (I am trying to manage the portfolio, after all). Is

If you do need to consolidate risks and issues among a portfolio then you'd fall into report's creation with odata technology.
Paul's (a fellow MVP) has posted a while ago a tremendous
report pack which can be applied to Project Online with specific reports for risks and issues.

Well, the obvious advice is to restore your mac's backup to the new drive - I assume you've been using Time Machine.
If you haven't been backing up the mac, then ...
For photos, sync the iphone to the mac vis iTunes/USB and get the photos back into iPhone on the mac. Getting back the itunes is another problem. You can look for mac apps that read an iOS device and copy songs to the mac. But that won't get back all the other information that iTunes used to have. Again, only a backup would restore all that data. As for purchased items from the iTunes store, use the mac and connect to the store via itunes and check the purchased tab or link. There you can redownload all purchased music and other items. -
Too many errors. I want to see all of them in MS-DOS.
I am wondering why no one ever wants to see all their errors when compiling programs. Several times I have looked for someone who is in the same boat as I am. I can't seem to find any hints or solutions to this problem.
I know that when compiling code in c or c++ you can redirect any output/errors to a file in UNIX and I think MS-DOS as well. When compiling Java code you can use the script command in UNIX to solve the issue of errors scrolling off the screen, but in MS-DOS, I know no other solution than getting an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) like VIDE.

When I press the firefox icon on my lap top I go straight to yahoo. There is no firefox browser and all my bookmarks have disappeared. What can I do to get the browser back.

Delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
