I want to see lead sheets/lyrics during play back.

I want to be able to set the visualizer to display full screen text/ or pdf images I've added. There is all this wasted real estate during playback. It would be best if there were options to: 1. auto close the added text and return to the library @ the end of the song 2. Establish a hard stop to playback @ the end of a song 3. Format fonts and columns 4. Add content from iWorks files, ie. copy/paste, drag in.

Is this the request line?
I want a Blu-ray player/burner built in on my Macs.
I would like an iPad with a 16:9 display.

Sound keeps buzzing during play back

I have recently bought the HP Pavilion lap top and when I have come to listen to tracks either those on the hard drive or via apps like Spotify the sound occassionally stutters and is buzzing during the songs, any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Hi Denzel6362, sorry to hear that you are having a issue with buzzing during play back on your computer. What is the exact model number of your computer? On the bottom of the computer you will see a white sticker, you will find the product number on he sticker by a bar code. Hope to hear from you soon so we can get this issue resolved for you.

Sound problem during play-back

Dear friends
After recording images with my MSI TV-Tuner card, i cant get any sound during play back. First i had Win-Amp installed on my system that i thought may be it is the cause of the problem. After uninstalling the win amp, again the problem existed. Even i have installed the Beta version driver of my MSI tv tuner but i hadn't any success in solving the problem .
If somone can help me to solve this i will be appreciated.

make sure you have the recording input set correctly in your settings (look under Device options)
however your tv tuner is connected to your soundcard (eg Line-IN) then this should be set accordingly

Final Cut Pro Lagging during play back

when i start a new project FCP runs great but after i start adding more clips and rendering and saving my preview play back is so sluggish to the point that the video stalls and the audio keeps playing for a couple seconds then stops.
i dont know what i did if anything but FCP used to run great all the time. this all just started a couple weeks ago. even short projects if i save it to work on it another day when i get back to it, it runs sluggish. if i skip through the project with the mouse i usually get the beach ball. does anyone know whats going on? all my other programs are running great. my memory status is OK

im editing music videos. they are about 4 minute mp4 files saved on my hard drive. my rendered files & scratch disks are set to save on an external hard drive.
the videos i buy and they are MPEG-4, 640x480, H.264 AAC (saved on my hard drive)
im exporting from FCP, using quicktime conversion, and saving as MPEG-4, 640x480, AAC H.264.
all im doing is placing a logo in the lower right corner through the duration of the video.
sometimes i add 5 or 6 of these 4 minute videos to make a longer music video mix.
the only thing i have connected to my laptop is an external hard drive. no cameras or anything else.
i been doing everything the same for the last 6 months. this lagging just started last week.
also when i want to render my project it takes about 2 hours for a 4 minute video. same thing when i export.
i tried trashing preferences to start over and it still the same sluggish preview play back.
any ideas?

Video frames are heard during play back in the audio line (but not on the DVD)

Another problem occurs( among lots of other annoying problems which are not solved yet). Using PPRO 5.5 in two projects now and I am very dissapointed in the quality of this software comparing to PPRO 2.0. To many problems to mention here. It works and thats all.
This is the new problem. When I play the project, the video frames "are heard" ( sounds like the old film projector transport) at low level in the audio signal together with the audio signal itself (at normal level)
This is annoying during editing, but doesn't affect the results by burning on DVD. Is that an normal situation? In my old PPRO 2.0 not such a problem was there. Or is there something wrong.

I'm sorry I could not find a solution. In fact I'm stumped and request the help of Todd or Wil or some other Adobe employee to help you out.
Why? The reason for requesting Adobe's help in this way is:
a. Chris has a limited knowledge of English and works with a Dutch version of Windows, which makes it difficult to communicate on the phone.
b. I have checked his system with Teamviewer and the system is more than adequate and is properly tuned/optimized for the task he wants to perform.
c. I can't find a solution to help him.
What is the problem?
System is an i7-2600K with 16 GB memory, P67 mobo, nVidia GTX 570 and 520 cards, 5 x 1 TB disks, 3 monitors, on-board audio.
Source material is simple DV PAL widescreen from a JVC camera. Sequence settings match, no problems here.
Playing a clip with WMP shows no problem, playing from the camera to a TV shows no problem, but playing from the timeline in a CS5.5.1 project results in a clearly audible rattling that is comparable to the rattling one has when projecting old 8 mm film, only louder. This was clearly audible for me over the phone.
I have no idea where to start looking for a solution, because his system looks good from all sides, is properly tuned, has more than enough horsepower to edit simple DV material.
So please Todd, Wil or anybody else from Adobe, can you help Chris?

How to get windows to update/scroll during play-back?

There's a figure which looks like a little man which you click to get a window to update/scroll as playback proceeds, but this function often seems to turn itself off when you move around the various windows of the current project. How can I get it to stay ON permanently?

It turns off if you manually move or position things in many circumstances (eg moving the playhead), so you don't lose what you were looking at.
If you want it on during playback, there is a preference option to always enable catch mode when you start playback...

Hopping-skipping during play-back

Working on a 20 minute project with at least 200 photos , transitions,effects.
music, 3 7sec clips. When I replay it to verify and make corrections it skips, becomes choppy, not smooth flowing like it should be. This my 6 project like this and this is the first time it ever happens. Can anyone help me I want to finish it and it so it will play properly.

I'm having the same problem with a 37 minute project. FIrst I thought it was from the cfx plugins I bought to change the aspect ratio and have more control over titling. But even in sections where I use no external plugins, IMovie just seems to rebel if, for instance, I have a lot of audio edits (putting in roomtone, using extracted audio a lot, etc) or a lot of video cuts with VO. Don't know if it has anything to do with the size of the project.
But it's very inconvenient to break it into 3 or 4 projects because then I have to keep exporting and importing clips from one part to the other. This is very annoying especially since there's so much cool stuff you can do with IMovie when it's cooperating.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Crackling, clipping sound during play backs/recordings? No tracks are actually clipping..

Hello, I've recently got GarageBand 10.0.2 and imported an old GB file to work with in the new GB.
When i play back the recording it seems i get a crackling, clipping type of sound although no tracks are actually clipping?
i think it may occur when i switch to the new presets but the clipping/popping noises come and go with ever play back.
Any idea?

Program Monitor - I'm not seeing whole clip when playing back

I'm real worried! Having spent days of my life importing video and editing it - and then trying to fix my problem of only seeing a part of the playing-back clip in the program monitor which led me onto your site. I've spent hours looking at your posts (and indeed Adobe help pages) trying to solve this and clearly (I think!) my original sequence settings have been wrong. Maybe I can come back to that because I'm really not sure how to set these correctly. My initial question please, if I complete my editing and then export this file, will I still only see part of the clips in the final version, or will I see the whole of the original movie clip?

Hi Kamal,
First see to which depreciation area u had assigned the non leading ledger, hopefully it must be for international (dep area 30). Go to OADB in that go to dep area 30 and check whether u had given non leading ledger, if u had given then u can see the same in asset explorer.
Also as you are saying that your non leading ledger is having different fiscal year variant, check SAP Note 844029 for more information.

Thank you for responding. I'm not sure if my complete original message came through. It was just today that an automatic update notice came through, and I installed the update that was offered. So I have to guess that version — 10.1.10 — is the latest version that's available to me. My OS is 10.6.8. Again (in case the complete message isn't appearing), I'm on an older Mac, specifically MacBook 2.1. Perhaps this is the problem, and I never should have updated a few years ago. If so, I wonder if there's any way I can go back to that earlier version that worked well for me, rather than the last few versions, which have not.

I had the same issue for several days (and several reboots). During that time I found I could print the spread sheet as a pdf, though I couldn't see it except cell by cell.
Suddenly the problem disappeared. I never did know why the problem appeared nor why it disappeared.
In the interim I ran the disk utility several times and repaired permissions twice. That may have helped, but I don't know.

I want to see PP stock in dry and wet scenarios in parallel.

I am using PP in a coke plant. The stock is uploaded as wet i.e. ( x tons of coke + y tons of moisture) through 561 movement. This entire stock is then taken up through a stock transfer order process in SD and a goods issue posted. However, my management would also like to see in parallel, the x ton (dry stock) separately also without affecting the MM reports like MMBE. They would also want to see this dry qty diminished when PGI of the wet stock also happens in the same proportion in which they have been PGIed.
Is there any way in PP to achieve this objective?

As I perceive, at the moment, you are using only one part number that represents the FG/SFG (mixture of coke & moisture). You create a STO and book a GI against the STO.
In terms of the PP modul my suggestion would be as following:
- you should maintain stock for all ingredients (components) >> this would mean the maintanance of separate part number of each component
- you should maintain BOM for your SFG/FG
- and you should maintain other suitable master data (work center, routing)
In this case the process would be to issue a PrdOrd for your FG/SFG. During the confirmation (booking against PrdOrd) you would get your FG/SFG by mvt 101 and consume your components via mvt 261.
After that you could deliver your SFG/FG to its destination (e.g. via delivery, STO).
Please make your question clear it is very difficult to understand the process described by you and it's not toatally clear what you want exactly.

While Creating Shipment Cost (vi01)
At the time of SAVE i want that in Service Procurement I want to block Entry Sheet.
In Settelement tab i tick Transfer then When i click SAVE it brings Purchase Document and Entry Sheet automatically BUT what I want to Block that Entry Sheet to get generated.
Please suggest me solution.

I dont see any standard way of doing it as i dont see any setting which can block material for reservation creation ,
Method suggested by Amrinda controls entry of component in BOM so it might work if u r strictly going to use process via BOM.
But as i have observed that is rarely the case.
I would recommend you to ask ur technical consultant to identify EXIT/BADI/Enhancement which cud check creation of such PO or creation of reservation via subcontracting order.
