Thank you, but I need to put my name and contact info on an image to be the lock screen. It is what my university really really wants us to do. I used to be able to make a PowerPoint or Keynote page, save it as a jpeg, email it to myself and open it on the iPad, send it to cameral roll, then have the option to set it as the lock screen there. I would like to add:
you have incompatible software: start in SafeMode, read Woodmeister and see if it is free of issues.
Akamai is crap software needed or not, Huawei the same.
It is very possible that the keygenerator you used for generating a key for some softwares has infected your mac.
The non-regular software with the false key(s) are not compatible probably or generate malware. Luckily you can not update them automatically because the keygenerator blocked the software for contacting the developer... I propose to consider getting rid of those softwares by really good uninstalling.
You have a beautiful mac, don't degenerate it with crapped software. There are alternatives for expensive software, for example Adobe Photoshop has a free alternative (with a less beautiful interface) in GIMP. And so on.

Recommendation for setting of Concurrent Lock

The documentation I've found regarding setting concurrent lock is not clear to me so I'm hoping more clarity will come from the forum. The scenario is the following. One of our cubes is for our plant and regional controllers. Within this application are the following dimensions:
Entity (E)
Account (A)
Plant (U)
Profit Center (U)
Category
DataSrc
Currency
Time
The only unique dimension between the users is Plant. Multiple users plan for the same entity, account, profit center, time, currency, etc.
Our current configuration for Concurrent Lock is
Entity
Account
Plant
Category
Time
Do we have the concurrent lock configured correctly? We think so but are not sure and are looking for a second, third, fourth opinion. The reasoning behind any recommendation you can provide will be very helpful in configuring concurrent lock for our other applications/cubes.

As far as my understanding, you are correct in your observation. The unique dimension which is amongst the users is Plant. So if you want to go for concurrent locking and you select:
Entity
Account
Category
Time
then, if the users are selecting Plant as well in dimension and enter data, the first users' entry will be taken into consideration and rest of users' entries will be locked (ignored). Therefore, you need to select:
Entity
Account
Plant
Category
Time
for concurrent locking so that, other users are not getting locked while entering data.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

How do I enable it so I'll be asked to enter it at every startup?At settings all I can do is change the lock code,and I did change it, but where is the option to enable it? I only see an option to enable the pin code request...Do I have to use this option? Because I don't have the pin code.

The pin code is the 4 digit pin code for your sim card. Yo should have received it with your sim. If not contact your service provider. Once you have the code, you can then set Pin code request to "On". This means everytime you switch on the phone you will be asked to enter this pin. Next you also want to set Lock if SIM card changed to "Yes". Make sure you remember the lock code because the only way to reset it is to bring it to a Nokia Care Point.
With both the settings, what happens when someone turns on your phone is they get asked for the pin. If they dont have the pin they might decide to change the sim then tehy will be asked for the lock code.

A complication that I need to resolve is the fact that I am using Vmware
Fusion to be able to use Windows on my Mac. Now it seems that Time
Machine is not backing up my files
on that virtual Windows without additional configuration and my question
is whether you can advise me here or whether this is only a matter for
the Fusion virtual machine.

If you want to use Time Capsule you can.. you simply bridge it and plug it into the existing router.. wireless can be either turned off or used to reinforce the existing wireless.. eg use 5ghz in the TC which is much faster than your 2.4ghz.
You can also use a NAS.. many brands available but the top brands are synology, qnap and netgear readynas series. These will all do Time Machine backups although how well always depends on Apple sticking to a standard. There are cheaper ones.. I bought a single disk zyxel which was rebadged and sold through my local supermarket. It actually works very well for TM at least on Snow Leopard. Major changes were made in Lion and again ML so do not instantly think it will work on later versions. I haven't tried it yet with those versions.
Any external drive can be plugged into the mac. Use the one with the fastest connection or cheapest price according to your budget. USB2 drives are cheap and plentiful. But no where near as fast as USB3 or FW800. So just pick whichever suits the ports on your Mac. Interesting Apple finally moved to USB3 on their latest computers.
TM should exclude the VM partition file.. it is useless backing it up from Mac OS side.. and will slow TM as it needs to backup that partition everyday for no purpose.. TM cannot see the files inside it to backup just the changes.
You need to backup windows from windows. Use MSbackup to external drive.. if you have pro or ultimate versions you can backup to network drive. But MSbackup is a dog.. at least until the latest version it cannot restore the partition without first loading windows. There are about a zillion backup software versions for windows.. look up reviews and buy one which works for you. I use a free one Macrium Reflect which does full disk backups and is easy to restore.. to do incremental backups though you have to pay for it.

We want to be able to monitor what they do, but do not want their devices linked to our emails/contacts/etc... Each kid has their own email account. So, from what I have read the best way to do this is to use our family Apple ID, but set them up with a separate iCloud account? Is this correct?
Reset/Restore/DFU:
To start fresh we have done multiple factory resets. I did one that someone said was a DFU and a plan ol' factory reset, etc... Not sure the difference. However, when I do that I get the "hello" screen and am able to start setting the phone up anew. However, when I go to set the phone up as an iPod I end with the same result.

There are a number of Apple services: iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, Game center, Find My iPad, etc.
Now, to share apps, music and books you need to have the same Apple ID:
iPad's Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > Your purchasing Apple ID.
For the other service, your wife should have her own Apple ID.

If you want to maintain a Max and Min stock level, Maximum stock is shown straight away, you cannot find the Minimum field directly.
if you want to use MRP type PD then go for safety stock that will be your minimum stock level
or else use Re-order point planning, re-order point will be your minimum and Max-level as maximum.

As I understand it you want to have more than 1 email address under your Apple ID. You can have what are called Alternate Email addresses associated with your Apple ID and this article will help you get those setup:
Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses
Alternate email address
You can add one or more alternate email addresses for use with Apple services such as Game Center, FaceTime, Find My Friends, iMessage, and OS X notifications.
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
Add an alternate address:
Select Add Email Address, then enter your alternate address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address.
