I want to share my video edits with clients in the cloud but can't
I was under the impression I was able to easily share my video edits with clients for a simple seamless workflow. Upon trying this I learn that I am unable to share video files over the cloud. Why is this? and how can I do this? I know you use to be able to within premiere.
Does it need to be exported in a certain format or is it simply not supported to do this in the cloud.

Creative Cloud is not currently able to be used in this way but this is something our developers are considering adding in the future.
Please share your feedback about what file formats you typically work with, what kind of a workflow would work best for you and what related features would be the most important for you on our ideas section.

The ID for iTunes must be the same on both devices for it to automatically download purchases made on the other phone.

Sharing videos with clients in the cloud
I have many clients who will be sending videos to me which will need to be edited and all will need to be saved in the same file format, such as Mpeg 4. Later all these videos will need translation subtitles. These videos will need to be shared back & forth with the clients. The cloud will not let me share an MPEG 4 video with a client. The message I get when I try to share my video is "You cannot share this kind of file using Creative Cloud.". So how will they be able to send/share their videos in many different formats with me?
I am not able to give a date.

When sharing privately becomes available then it will be possible to share video.

I want the photos from my phone to be uploaded to the icloud but I dont want photos to be downloaded to my phone. Is there a way I can do that? the photos are taking up too much space and I can't download the new IOS 6.
If by 'Allfiles' you mean 'All My Files' then what you see is correct. The All My Files option under Favorites shows all the files in your user folder. All your documents, music, movies, pictures, everything. Under the View menu you have an 'Arrange By' selection that can arrange all your documents by what kind they are, by what Application owns them, or by name, date, etc.
Since this isn't what you want, unselect 'All My Files' and choose the folder you want to see. BTW, those items under Favorites are user adjustable. You can drag a folder into that blue area under Favorites to add it to the Favorites and you can remove one by holding the Command key and dragging it from favorites into the desktop. You'll see the icon change into a cloud and when you release the mouse it will disappear. -
I recently downloaded the iCloud/iTunes Match.. both of which I still have no idea how to use.. my songs began automatically downloading somewhere on my iPhone.. there are alot of songs in my iTunes Library on my MacBook.. and I didnt want all of them to get downloaded to my iCloud/iPhone..how do I start over and choose what gets downloaded? Also, I have purchased several songs from iTunes Store that did not get downloaded to my purchased list.. for example: I purchased 2 Katy Perry Songs, only one was uploaded to my phone..why and how do i fix it? When you subscribe to iTunes match, you cannot selectively choose tunes to add to it, it's either or nothing. When you then enable iTunes match on your iPhone, none of the tunes are downloaded to your phone, you simply get a list of everything that is available in your iTunes library and the ability to download them as and when you want. -

The iTunes Store doesn't have every CD ever released by any means. If you can't find it in the iTunes Store, then buy it where you can. As long as it's a standard audio CD or is downloadable in a standard, non-copy-protected format, then you can most likely then import it into iTunes.

I want to create a HD disc with my Adobe Premier Elements but I am getting low resolution. When I go to share the DVD to disc the form only offers 8pixels at the bottom. How do I burn this DVD in HD with higher number of pixels? I have read other forums on burning HD DVD's but I do not see the option to turn the 8 pi into 40 pi the one forum recommended. I want my DVD to be HD so I may sell these videos online for my business. I can't sell them the low quality they are burning now. Hopefully you can help me. Thanks.

You cannot burn your high resolution video that you can view on your computer to an AVCHD on DVD disc
that will replay through a regular DVD player. But players are marketed under a variety of names with
different support opportunities. One manufacturer may call its product MultiMedia Player, media player, Blu-ray player,
etc.The bottom line is the specifications for each of the players that are candidates for the playback of
the AVCHD format on DVD disc or the format of interest.
If you upload your HD (1920 x 1080) video to YouTube, YouTube converts the video to flash format, but it goes up as the HD video.
But, beware. Look at the YouTube viewing setting when your uploaded video is playing back. The YouTube default is not
HD. It might be 360p, 480p. If you have a 1080p video, then before the YouTube playback, you should be looking
at the video with the YouTube 1080p HD setting for best viewing. That is a YouTube matter.
Best results depend on you
a. setting up the Premiere Elements project preset to match the properties of the source media. That means, if
you have 1080p source, you (manually) or the project (automatically) set the project preset at
NTSC
DSLR
1080p
DSLR [email protected]
or the PAL counterpart, depending on your region need.
b. if you upload your video to YouTube using the Premiere Elements feature, there is a HD preset, but you cannot
customize it.....if you need customization, then you can export your Timeline to a file...in this example
Publish+Share
Computer
AVCHD
with Presets = MP4 H.264 1920 x 1080p30 or PAL counterpart
and then customize the preset under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of that preset. In increase quality, you might look to increase
the Bitrate under Advanced Button/Video Tab settings - without compromising the file size.
Then you would upload that file to YouTube at the YouTube web site.
All of the above are factors that need looking into in order to determine the why for what you wrote

Often SD video upscaled to HD can present poorly. But, you are dealing with a HD workflow so that should not be introduced into the matter. The setup of the project and
the properties of the source video are important, but let us start with the above and rule in or out those considerations first.

Multiple Hard Drives for Video Editing with Premiere Elements 8?
I'm using Premiere Elements 8 for video editing. These are the specs I'm using:
The camcorder I used to shoot the footage is a Sony Handycam with model number HDR-SR12. It's a digital HD video camera recorder that shoots in NTSC 1920x1080i HD recording. The footage was shot with AVC HD 9M (HQ), which records in higher image quality mode. The video camera is connected to my computer through a USB cable.
The computer itself is a Windows 7 desktop computer. The CPU is an HP Pavilion Elite HPE-150f PC with Intel Core i7-860 processor. I imported the video into Premiere by selecting "File" --> "Get Media From" and then choosing the third option from the top.
My import option is NTSC/AVCHD/Full HD 1080i 30 5.1 channel, which matches the specs of the camera I shot the footage with.
Even with the patch 8.0.1 that should be preventing crashing, the program keeps crashing upon startup with one specific video project. Using the exact same video files for that project, I recreated the video, with Elements, and never ran into the problem. Both times, I had the patch installed.
At the moment, I am using only the single internal hard drive for everything (software, OS, video editing, etc.). It is 1 TB in size. However, I am informed that one hard drive is not recommended for video editing, and that I need at least two hard drives, one for OS and one specifically for video editing. I was also informed of FireWire 800 and eSata; however, it does not appear that my computer supports eSata.
Can this problem be resolved if I have an external hard drive and connect it to my computer with FireWire 800 (which the computer supports)? If not, what can be done so this problem doesn't arise in the future?

When you import the footage is there a red line across the whole of the timeline?

As you have the recreated project working fine I'd be inclined to put this down as a one-off glitch. If it happens again on a different project then it may be more worrying. You may want to consider using save-as to create multiple versions of your project (note this does NOT duplicate the source clips - so you won't be eating up much extra disk space). You could for example use save-as to create a daily version - ProjectName-Mon, ProjectName-Tue etc....

Now I want to share my iTunes account with my Apple TV 1, and my iPad 3, without the need of booting up the unreliable laptop where I set it up last year. do I have to use my. Pc laptop to access the iTunes store again too authorize home sharing. I have tried it before. O for a while I thought the we're sharing, now the Apple Tv has gone back to telling me to use my computer too sign into iTunes.
there maybe a far simpler way to enjoy iTunes on my iPad and Apple Tv. I also have the Sony blurry Google Tv. I will upgrade my PC with Windows Z8 and a screaming ran cache, ram disk on a 79 mother board and then pay 5 bucks a month for OnLive Plus that I hpe to show wirelesslypy on the big scree 50 inch Panasonic. I have waited for years to upgrade as I wanted to help my kids in college. They are finished and so I have money fr my self.CELEBRATEAre you using the charger and cable that came with the phone?

Not rally a question, just wanted to share my absolute frustration with the update of iTunes...this is, without a shadow of a doubt THE WORST application i have EVER used, Mac or PC! And that's saying something with the amount of PC dross that's out there...Apple...PLEASE update and give us back the old version of iTunes...
Pull down View > Show Sidebar. This will give you back the same functionality of iTunes 10.x.x.

You should be able to. If the projector has a speaker with acceptable sound, that's one option, otherwise powered speakers or a surround system.

I recently got a MacBook Pro and want to burn my videos, taken with my iPhone, to DVD. What is the easiest way for me to accomplish this? I've been told I need to download a DVD creator/burner. I've downloaded 3 different free versions, but none of them seem to recognize the video files from my iPhone. I don't need anything fancy or complicated. I just want a way to store these vidoes and be able to play them on our DVD player. Help!
Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder on your PC to /Music/ on your Mac.
Then delete what you don't want.
You will need to authorize yrou computer for the iTunes account yoru mother has.
You should create & use your own iTunes account for any more purchases.
You don't need to export anything and definitely don't need to (and shouldn't) convert anything. -
I'm looking to buy a macbook pro. I will be doing some video editing with it. Would it be better to go a bit pricier to get the
2.0ghz quad core or stick with the lower priced 2.7ghz dual core?Video is the magic word for fast CPUs, large screens, maximum RAM and large HHDs. Ditto what eww says and do not order RAM and HDD upgrades through Apple. It is much, much less expensive through third party vendors.

I am trying to do video editing with iMovie 11 9.0.8 . I am running OS X Lion 10.7.5 I have no sound,any suggestions please.
This seems to have fixed the issue: on your desktop, hold down the [OPT] key and click on "Go" in the menu bar; holding down the [OPT] click on Library, find Preferences, and then delete all the files that start with "com.apple.itunes.XXXX.plist" where the "XXX" is whatever other things may exist - as long as they end in "plist". From my experience, preference files are rebuilt by the system after the next restart, so you have very little worry of losing any important data; the worst that could happen )and NOT in this instance, but for other plist files) is that you may have to reset the application "preferences" again when you next start it up, to act or appear in a "preferred" customized way for you.
Once you delete the .plist files, empty the Trash, and either log out or restart the computer. Once you're back up and operational, start iTunes and your iDevices should reappear in the sidebar (if that's open) and/or at the top of the screen (if that view is enabled).
Hope that helps. It definitely fixed my problem!
