I want to stop this task from spawning ever again!

I'm getting this error in my users console....
The sysadmin before me installed some software that relies on messagebus... probably for inter game communications..

org.freedesktop.dbus-system[1723] <Notice>: Failed to start message bus: Could not get UID and GID for username "messagebus"
Some solutions I've found are to create the user and group that message bus needs...
My solution is to get RID of it. I don't feel safe with this server that can be used to spawn tasks on other users machines without their knowledge.
I'm worried that its chewing up users CPUs and is just a nuisance.
So which config file contains the line that is spawning this deamon?

launchctl remove org.freedesktop.dbus-system
That stop the respawn... Until the system is rebooted and then this happens again.
So how do I make this removal PERMANENT?

What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!

How to stop this forum from sending me email?

I've only posted on 1 thread once... and now, I can't stop the flow of emails from the thread that I commented!
I've already selected "No" on all the items in my preference but I still get an email from the same topic/thread I've commented.

I wanted to get this app from the app store but it wouldn't load the app after typing it in the search box

Anyway, my question Why isn't my app store working? Is there a glitch in the IOS 7 or something. But let me get into further detail about my situation. I wanted to get this app from the app store. When I click on the app everything is fine at first, but then i click on the "search button" and I type out the name of the app.And usually the name of the app would pop up to what it appears be a list of the names of each app, but that never happened. Then, I clicked "enter" or "search" and it wouldn't load after hours and hours. And then I decided to go to the settings and see whats up with the app. I scoll down and click on the "ITunes & App Store" with an arrow pointing right. Once I clicked it, it freezes. But I haven't updated my phone (its IOS 7 but theres an update for IOS 7.1 or something like that)

Reset the device then try the App Store.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.
When you can, yes, there's an update available.
Tap Settings > General > Software Update

When I open my itunes it freezes and asks me to downlaod the newest version. I always check the "dont ask me again" box and it always ASKS ME AGAIN. I dont need any more duplicates in my library so how do I stop this feature from popping up?

Im tired of this feature popping up everytime I open itunes. I alwasy check the box that say dont ask again, and it cointinually pops up. I dont want to download new version of itunes so how do I stop this?

Thanks for the reply! Ill try to change the preferences as you mentioned. However, everytime Ive ugraded my itunes it adds duplicates to my library, which I then have to delete (if I have time to waste). With 10,000 songs this gets very annoying as Im sure you can imagine. Im also know that there are even software programs to delete duplicates from itunes libraries as seen here: http://www.tucows.com/preview/507304

The Bdoc "ATTRIB_MESSAGE" is successfully generation in smw01. When i goes to extract Bdoc message, it is showing the following table CABN,CAWN,CABNTCAWNT and CABNZ. I have not downloaded the middleware object "Attribute",still system is showing the "ATTRIB_MESSAGE" Bdoc message as confrimed(fully processed).
I want to stop the above Bdoc flow. Please suggest me.

Do you mean still you are getting deltas for attribute object? If these are old inbound queues with sysfail you can delete these queues from SMQ2.
otherwise make sure you have following entry created in ECC table CRMRFCPAR
User : CRM
Object Name : ATTRIBUTE
Destination : XXXXXXXX (CRM RFC destination)
Load Type : D
Discard data : X (Check box)

When I try to load ABC news I get the error message that says Firefox stopped this page from loading. Do you want to allow it? Of course I do, or I would not have gone there. It does not do this onother pages. How do I make it stop?

It consistently does this when I try to read ABC news and when I try to go to my bank's web site. I am getting real tired of this. This message will pop up over and over even after clicking allow. How do I shut this off it is really annoying.

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

Okay so I've been having this problem for the past 3 months ever sense I've hooked my keyboard up to garrage band. When I record tracks by themselves I have no problems. However when I start to add more tracks to the recording Garage Band will stop me from what I am doing and tell me this

This can be a problem of not enough free disk space or RAM.
How much free space do you have on your system drive? And how much RAM does your MAc have?
Are you running other applications cocurrently to GarageBand? Quit all other applications that are not absolutely necessary before working with GarageBand. If one of your other applications has a bug and is causing a memory leak, it may help to restart you mac before working with GarageBand. That will free RAM, so GarageBand has more storage.

How do you stop a task from starting at boot.

I tried to install our network printer, HP 6300, on my daughter's Macbook. As part of the install process, the install dialogues search for the printer. They could not find the printer. I did go to add printers and it did see the printer and it was installed. Later, when connectiong the Mac to our Windows systems on the lan, I found out that I had to change definitions to point to our home work group. The printer is installed and functions, but every time my daughter boots the system, an HP dialogue appears where it wants to complete the installation. I would like to just kill this dialogue so it never appears. My only options on the dialogue window are cancel or continue. Somewhere there is a task that is kicking this off at boot. Is there a way to find it and kill it so it does not appear anymore?

Go into *System Preferences* then under Accounts look in *Login Items*. See if the process is there. If it is high light it and then click the minus key to remove it.

Try this - Assumes Windows 7 (you didn't say what OS your are using):
Turn Off the printer.
Start > search / type, then click on "Control Panel" > icon view > Administrative Tools >
Services > Click on "Name" to sort by name > Scroll down, look for "Print spooler" > Stop
Leave that Services window open...
Open a Windows Explorer window:
Start > search / type, then click on "Windows Explorer" > type / paste in the title bar (to the right of the <--> arrows C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
Alternatively, you can poke at each folder name (Windows > System32...) until you get to the folder named PRINTERS
Remove (delete) all the files you see in that folder directory.
(Highlight > Right-Click > Delete)
Go back to the Services window:
"Restart" the Print spooler service
NOTE: If you cannot stop / start the spoolsv service, try Right-Click on services and "Run as Administrator" to give you permission to control the services.
Unplug the printer, wait a bit (One minute), plug it back in...turn it on.
NOTE: There may be a buffer cache clear selection on the Printer - you could check on the front panel of the Printer Menu. Try this in the event that you cannot get to the outlet to unplug the printer OR try it in place of unplugging the printer. Choice.
