ID CS 4 exporting PDF books with low-res graphics

I've been exporting ID CS 4 documents to PDF with absolutely no problems, but today I created a book containing multiple documents, and I'm running into a snag when exporting.
If I open a single document and export as PDF, everything is fine. All the images in the document are rendered in high resolution.
If I open a book containing that very same document as well as another document, then I export the book as PDF, many, but not all, of the graphics in the original document are rendered in very low resolution. See image below.
Why? I didn't change a single thing in the dialog box for exporting to PDF.
I did several tests and it appears that if I open all the documents which comprise the book, all the images in the exported PDF are high resolution as desired. However, ultimately I want to create a book with 120+ documents, and there's no way I can keep them all open in memory without ID crashing. Yes, I suppose I can open a subset of the documents, export them, then combine the PDFs in Acrobat, but that's a cludge workaround.
Surely ID CS4 should be able to properly export as PDF a book containing a lot of documents with images, but damned if I can figure out what's causing these low-res images to appear.
If anyone has a solution, I would be very grateful if you'd share it with me.

I don't have a lot of files to test with, but I have one book that has about a dozen component files and around 200 images that's still in CS4. I just tried and export withthe docs closed here, and ID opened them all, as expected, exported, and reclosed them. I see no signs of image degradation, but these are not scaled images -- they were all converted to the correct profiles and scaled in Photoshop and then re-linked during the editing process, and I run Windows, and I'm only at 6.0.5 because this book has a number of Illustrator charts that I spent hours getting right in the first edition and I didn't want to risk them changing, so it may be an apples to oranges comparison.
The last thing I have for a suggestion to try would be a manual prefs replacement (so you can put your current set back when it turns out to be irrelevant). See Replace Your Preferences
Other than that, I'd say you may have found yourself a bug, and there's not a chance in the world that it will ever be fixed for CS4.

I am able to package the book with buy permission by acs4 webservices. Now i want to package the book with loan permission also at same time so that book could be available for borrow also instead of buy.
Please assite me what addition parameter I have to add into packaging xml.

It means distributor is able to lend only 5 books at a time. Is it right? I think distributor should be able to lend out all the books available in their inventory at a time. How we will define that distributor will able to lend out any number of books from their inventory at a time.
Point 2:
How we will define that at a time only one person could lend a perticular book. I mean two reader could not subscribe a perticluar book at a time?
Point 3:
I always think what is the need of this loan permissions though we can timed the book which have buy permissions. Please explain me what exactly the difference between buy and loan permissions.

Now I want to sync my Address Book with my partner's iCloud account. I have his account marked in my iMAC's Address Book Preferences, but it is not syncing. What to do?

It seems that you have to choose one or the other, keep iMAcc addresses or iPhone.

Indeed you can merge the address book using iCloud. You can find the info here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3998. I am not sure if you can de-duplicate though.
If that doesn't work or you want more out of your address book, you can always try connex.io (I work for the company). It's a service that automatically syncs, deduplicates, cleans and updates your address book across many different devices and services. the photos have the same quality, because I used aperture to retouch it, but for me is easy make a photo book with iphoto, I only imported the photos form aperture to iphoto, and I made the photo book, I want to buy it, but before I want to know which one have more quality or if the method of impression, aperture and iphoto, are the same.

You should have signed in with that address in the first place, but there is a workaround: go to System preferences>Mail, Contacts@ Calendars and add your @me.com address as an account there.

In the old days of Leopard and Snow Leopard, replacing your address book with one from another computer or another user was quite easy. Likewise with Safari and Keychain, but now with Lion I can't see how to do it.

Do you still have the old system running?
Then you can export your old Address Book as archiv
Address Book -> Export -> Address Book Archive
Transfer this archive file to the new computer, delete all adresses in the address Book and import your archive.
Your Safari Bookmarks can also be exported
Safari -> File -> Export Bookmaks
and reimported on the new System.

These are your options:
1. Restore the iPhoto library from the most recent backup that predates the issue.
          Advantages: Always works, if library damage is causing the problem and the backup is intact.
          Disadvantages: Impossible if you don't have a backup. All changes made since the backup are lost.
2. Repair or rebuild the library. Be sure to back it up first.
          Advantages: May solve the problem with no loss of data.
          Disadvantages: May fail. May take a long time if the library is large.
3. Scavenge the library with a third-party application called "iPhoto Library Manager," which you can find in a web search. From the application's menu bar (not the iPhoto menu bar), select Library ▹ Rebuild.
          Advantages: All images should be preserved.
