Data on the phone has absolutely nothing to do with what carrier you are using. No data is stored on the SIM at all. If you have a (legitimately) unlocked phone, all you should have to do is put your new SIM in the phone and carry on.

I logged into my Verizon, picked the activate a device option, and then when I get to the next screen it automatically picks MY phone to activate even though I select her number. My question is this. If I turn her new phone off, dial *228 on her old phone, is that is all that is required? I have been able to do it from the website in the past, but for some reason it won't let me any longer. I don't mind calling them, but she will be needing to move her service back and forth quite often, so I would like to find a better way. Any advice?

The option of calling *228 and choosing option 1 should work. And as you stated, shut off the active phone first.

The message that I receive says that I would have to remove my Apple ID as it will not let me log in with that I'd even though I am the original owner, I have tried everything on find my iPhone as well, even there my Apple ID not showing on the devise.

You must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.

The way that I understand that it works, is that the photos are not copied into the new albums, instead it just points to the photos - the number of photos on the iPad in Settings > General > About doesn't increase when you create new album so I assume from that that it isn't copying the photo, just pointing to it. So if you delete the photo from the camera roll you will therefore also be deleting all the pointers to it

Shouldn't happen.Only thing I can think of suggesting is to delete render files and try again. Trashing preferences is a long shot, but no harm in trying. Use the Digital Rebellion Preference Manager, a free download.
Assume you have a reason for using such an outdated version of FCP X. That may be contributing to your problem.
