I want to switch my emails back to my email provider and not use thunderbird. How do I do this?

I need to be able to access my email on my iPhone. I doesn't seem like this is an option when using thunderbird. Therefore, I need to switch my emails back to my original email provider.
I would like to know how to do that.
Or if you have a solution for checking my thunderbird account via my iPhone, I would be happy to do that. I looked for a thunderbird app for the iPhone but couldn't find one.

Is your mail account set up as as POP account?
When you set up Thunderbird to access your mail using the POP protocol, it has an option to keep mail on the server for access though other clients or to remove it (either immediately or after a period of time).
''To stop the damage:'' You can change this setting on your account within Thunderbird. In Account Settings (app menu button or classic Tools menu), check Server Settings.
''To restore the removed messages:'' POP is a one-way protocol, so there isn't a way within Thunderbird to upload the mail back to the server without setting up a different kind of connection.
If your mail service allows an IMAP connection, that would create a new set of folders in Thunderbird, and by copying messages into the Inbox in Thunderbird you could sync them back to the server. (Not sure whether the dates will be 100% preserved in the process.)
Volunteers can describe this in more detail if you want to try it.

setup xx email on iphone
where xx is your provider.

You can't change your iCloud email address once it's created. You would have to create a new iCloud account to create a new email address. However, you can create an alias address that will receive email in your current iCllud inbox. This article explains how to create an alias: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622.
Note that when you create and alias address, it cannot later be used to create a new iCloud account, nor can it be moved to another account or be reactivated should you ever delete it.

You may try first download PDF to the local computer and then try to open.
Also, may i know using which application, you are trying to open the document. Is it Reader /Acrobat and what is current version installed. If you have Reader XI.
The moment you open the PDF document Reader/Acrobat check for damage and tries to fix to some extent. And if the files is corrupted enough, then it through the same message.

This can happen when the video player (Flash plugin) has the focus.
In that case the plugin consumes all the key presses.
You will have to click with the mouse elsewhere on the page or in the user interface to make keyboard shortcuts work.

It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? First go here - https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and login under the manage tab. Check your information and be sure it is all correct.
An AppleID is nothing more than an email address, so if you see another email address in the store, then someone has logged in with a different AppleID than yours. Did you let someone else use your iPhone?

I'm trying to not personalize this too much, but it's grandkids talking to Grandma and Mom and Dad trying to solve new machine hiccups. Normally, I could just go in via iChat and control the other machine and troubleshoot, but I can't do it with Facetime only. My buddy list doesn't see the other computer even though we are connected on Facetime right now. My name is not highlighted for the other computer. What could have gone so wrong?

Looks like the link you originally clicked was a scam to get you to submit your username and password. I reckon the email from Google was legit (because it did not ask you to enter your username and password, but advised you to change your password.) So it looks like they did actually block a sign-in attempt. Sometimes, scammers do send out emails like this, but they are the ones which ask you to sign in again (because it's those details they are after).
Given that you've changed your password three times you should be safe. The golden rule is never submit usernames and passwords when prompted from an email - it's almost certainly a phishing attempt designed to get hold of your details.

Hello Embark2013 - Thanks for the help! If possible, could you or somebody in Apple-land explain to Apple that their system is IDIOTIC?! Changing an email address should be the simplest thing imaginable. Nobody should EVER have to consult a discussion group to learn how to do such a thing.

Try settings -- messages -- send & recieve and see if your email and phone number are in there and if there is only a check mark next to your email address. If so just check off your phone number and try that.
