I want to switch to firefox from Explorer, but somethinbg called Imesh keeps coming up when i try to get to firefox. How can i make firfox my browser and not Imesh?
I have beeb using Explorer on my laptop that came with Vista home premiun. (unfortunately). Explorer keeps crashing. i want to switch my browser to Firefox, but when I try I keep getting something called "Imesh" that appears to be posing as Firefox.
From what I understand Imesh is P2P software used to download various things. (Like Limewire.) I would just uninstall Imesh. My favorite utility to uninstall stuff is ccleaner, it makes uninstalls quick and painless. You can download it at http://www.piriform.com/ they make great free ware.
Now that the Imesh is removed do you have Firefox installed? When you install Firefox it will ask you if you want to use it as the default browser.
I hope this helps, if you wish to continuing various downloads with out the typical "P2P" silly stuff check in to torrents.

How can I make the bookmark separators dark? They are very light and I can hardly see them. I seem to remember that in older versions of FireFox they were much darker and easier to see.
On an older 1.5GHz PowerPC G4 mac, and on a
newer iMac 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
both running OSX10.5.8, and using the default FF 3.6.6 theme.
The separator lines are so faint as to be not there, giving the impression of just a big gap in the menu being displayed. -

I have an old iPod nano which I think is from the second generation (model number A1199 if that helps) with software at the latest version it can accept, 1.1.3. I wish to make a playlist out of the songs currently on the iPod, but I can't see any easy way to do that from the iPod itself. The next logical thought is to do it through iTunes, but the iTunes that was originally synced to the iPod died several years ago now, so I can't access that to make a playlist through (it's a very old iPod). I do have iTunes currently on this computer, but that's synced with my iPhone and stores different songs which I don't want to be mixed with those from the old iPod (due to the mostly nostalgic nature of the iPod songs). Is there any way I can either create a new playlist from the iPod itself, or through iTunes without having to sync? Also note that most of the songs on the old iPod were uploaded to iTunes from CDs and so aren't connected with any iTunes Login.
Thanks for any help you can give. Also, I sorta need to create this playlist ASAP so any advice you could give would be much appreciated
~ImamadmadThe old iTunes library was lost with the old PC. However, it all that music and content is still on your iPod there are many ways you can extract this content from the iPod and import it back into iTunes.
Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time. It will recognize the iTunes library on the new PC as a new library. If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library. So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.

Let's see. I have included some internal links such as "continued on page XX" and "comes from page XX" for some items. The problem is that as I add artwork or text, the number of pages varies, and so I have to edit the "continue" and "comes from" manually. Is there any way that InDesign assign the number of pages automatically? I mean, for example, when I indicate to a text box where you should continue (usually another text box), just that I do but whith the page number of the expressions "continue" and "comes from".

If you already have a text frame that reads: continued on page XX, delete the XX, place the cursor after continued on page and go to Type>Insert Special Character>Markers>Next Page Number. Do the same with the continued from page XX, but use Type>Insert Special Character>Markers>Previous Page Number.
If you have a story that spans two or more text frames, placing a jump line frame so that it touches one of the frames of a threadded story, it will display either the page number of the previous or next frame in the thread. -

Ok, first time here, so forgive me if Im repeating the question. I just ordered a NEW iPad 4 32gb from Amazon, but is actually being sold by a seller called "iPadShop". Although this seller got a high approval rating of 4.9 there were several reports of customers receiving used and refurbished iPads but sold as new. Once I receive mine how can I verify it is new. Also, even the ones that were new were purchased by this seller and then resold, which shortened the life of the 1 year warranty offered by Apple..?
If you just ordered it, I suggest you cancel your order as soon as possible. If you can't contact Amazon, call your credit card company and cancel payment on that. Why go through worrying about the ipad you are paying for as new? If it's to save money, then that can be defeated if you get a used or refurbished ipad with a less than full one year warranty. You'll be dealing with the ipad shop's return policy which could mean that once you open it, it's yours, unlike when you buy from Apple you have a full 14 days to return it even if you've opened it.
I looked at Amazon and did not see a price difference. If cost led you to buy from Amazon, what are you saving?
I suggest you buy it directly from Apple. If cost is an issue, consider buying a refurbished ipad from the Apple online Refurbished store. I would not buy a refurbished anything from anywhere but the Apple online refurb store.

I received the same message multiple times and the person that sends it only did it once. Also, I have trouble getting texts from non iPhone using friends.
It's actually probably a carrier (or hardware) issue on the sender's end. Tell the sender to pull the battery from their phone (or reset it if the battery is non-removable). I've seen this issue with certain HTC phones (HTC did release an update which solved the issue on my Thunderbolt). As far as I knew, I only sent the message once. However, it would show up multiple times on the receiver's phone. Pulling my battery would solve the problem for a while. It did take the software update to stop it permanently.

If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file <i>cookies.sqlite</i> that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> and <b>cookies.txt</b>, if they exist, in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
