If you're talking about stopping music purchased from the iTunes store automatically downloading to your iPad, go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and under Automatic Downloads and turn Music to Off. If your talking about syncing with iTunes, just uncheck Sync Music on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings before syncing your iPad.

I have the iPhone 4 and I specifically made the decision not to upgrade to IOS 7 due to the many reports the iPhone 4 hardware is not powerful enough to run IOS 7 correctly. This was fine for me until the SSL security hole was revealed.
The phone is less than two years old and it's unbeliavable that the only choices available are to cripple the phone with IOS 7, continue using it with a well known and easily exploitable security hole or trash the phone.

- set the iPhone up to a corporate Microsoft Exchange account.
- set up a password on the screen lock with the option to wipe the data after ten failed attempts at login.
then the data could be wiped from the iPhone If you did not do any of those, there is no way to clear the data from the iPhone.

Your carrier may be able to cut off cellular service to it, and you might be able to locate or wipe it with Find My iPhone, but only if you had that turned on on the phone before it was stolen.
