If you have iTunes 11 on your Mac then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S, that might make it easier to navigate.
Connect the phone to your Mac and select it on that left-hand sidebar, and on the right-hand side of the screen there should be a series of tabs which you can use to select what to sync to the phone. If it's an audiobook then it should appear on the Books tab for selecting/syncing, and films will be on the Movies tab. When you've got the audiobook on your phone you should get an Audiobooks option in the Music app (you might need to tap the '...' tab at the bottom of the Music app to see it).

You should be able to do it via the Store drop-down menu at the top of iTunes - if you are using iTunes on a PC then try pressing Alt-S and the Store menu should appear.

Trying to change the username, shortname and home directory on a new Macbook.

This is my problem after trying the above article:
I tried this but got stuck when it came to entering my password into terminal. After entering in the sudo command I hit return and saw the password prompt but when I tried to type my password in nothing happened at all as cursor never moved. I hit return again terminal tells me that there is no folder named "new user name" I restarted my Mac and tried it all over again and got the same message. When I go into the original account I see the shortname and home directory are changed but the username is the original one I started with.
How do I make the password cursor move. Have I missed something?
My Macbook if very new and I don't care what I lose on here. Thinking of doing a complete reinstall and updating all over again. Is there a way to fix this?

This is intentional.
I hit return again terminal tells me that there is no folder named "new user name" I restarted my Mac and tried it all over again and got the same message.
Enter the actual old and new names into the Terminal instead of 'new user name'.

Can't figure out how to change my email and password for the message board...

I did password recovery earlier and ended up with some short (insecure) temporary password. I've wasted WAY too much time looking for a place to update my username and password, but I just can't find it.

I have learned to love PAGES, but I can't figure out how "sections" get linked together and how to unlink them so I can move pages or delete pages with a whole bunch of pages (a section) going away.

I have learned to love the PAGES program but I will add a new "section" or page to it and then when I look at thumbnails and try to move pages around or delete pages, it treats them as a section of many pages and will only delete several of them together or will add extra blank pages that I don't need. It is very frustrating but must be something I am doing to cause this.

A Page Break pushes the next text to the next page, it is still part of the same section.
You need to insert a Section Break.

Back up all data.
Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. any help would make me happy. As it stands now from looking on the web it can't be deleted but making sure before i return this ipod touch. I wan't a clean item the way I wan't it and not how they want it. This advice will sound like a joke or prank, but believe me it worked on my iPhone 5 and my daughter's. The lens mechanism got stock on each of our iPhones. We found a post on these message boards that said to hold the iPhone about 6 inches above a table or counter top and drop it so that it lands flat on it's back. Now try the camera ...Fixed! It has been more than six months now and neither of our iPhones have ever experienced the problem again.
