I want to transfer iWeb pages from my computer to a friends computer. How do I do this?

What is the friend going to do with the website?  If he's to edit and publish it follow Wyodor's links on moving the Domain.sites file to the other Mac.  If it's just so he can open the site locally you need to publish your site to a folder on your hard drive and move that folder to his computer.

I tried Backup from the source and then restored it to the target Curve 8520. The target Curve does not seem to be able to see it?

  • How to transfer contact list from iphone 4 to 4s

Appreciate advice  about transfering the contact list from iphone 4 to Iphone 4s.

Just sync your contacts to the same address book or cloud service you're syncing them with on the old phone.

  • Any idea how I transfer contact list from a Samsung Tocco F480 (Orange network) to iPhone3Gs (O2 network)?

Does anyone know how, or what app I need, to transfer the contact list on my old Samsung Tocco F480 (Orange network) to my new iPhone 3GS (O2 network)?  My laptop uses Vista.

With Windows, the iPhone supports syncing contacts direct via the iTunes sync process with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events and notes, and with the address book app used by Windows Mail called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only. Or you can sync contacts with a Google and Yahoo online address book.
Get the contacts into a supported address book application on your computer or in your Google or Yahoo online address book if you have a Gmail or Yahoo email account.
If the contacts are stored on the SIM card with your other phone which is limited to a name and a couple of phone numbers and maybe an email address, the iPhone supports importing contacts stored on a SIM card with another cell phone.

  • [Solved]I just want to transfer some files from one computer to ano...

    Setup:
Windows LAN (setup by my dad)
One Arch Linux Box, hardwired and connected through the network without problems.
One Ubuntu Linux Laptop, connected wirelessly.
I want to transfer my music, schoolwork, ect, onto my desktop from my laptop. Both machines are part of the same LAN. I want to transfer those files over the network (because I lack a usb drive larger than 1 GB). I know you can do this via rsync, ssh, sftp, samba, ect. But I happen to [censored] hate doing stuff with any network of any sort. I sort of understand networking, but I need some help, because all the millions of guides about doing this on the internet seem not to work, no matter what I try to do.
I can ping each machine through the other one, and I know both of their host names (I have both of them in front of me, actually.). The Ubuntu machine can see the entire network (through Nautilus, it appears), but cannot see my Arch Linux Box. I'd imagine I could see the entirety of the network on my Arch Computer if I knew how (going to ///:Network on PCmanFM gives me nothing). Both machines can connect to the internet without problems.
Can someone help me out? (I know, there are plenty of guides through Google and the Arch Wiki, I don't really understand them well enough)
I don't care if you use a specific method, any will do. I can provide any additional information to you if you just ask.

  • How do I transfer the contact list from my phone to another on my family plan

    Hello,
I have a Samsung Rogue as the primary phone on my account. My dad also has a phone on my plan, and just upgraded to the Accolade. He wants to add my contact list to his phone. Is there a way that I can transfer my list over to his phone?
    Thanks.

I figured, why start a new thread?
Question: Is there a way to get the contact list from my old intensity phone?
    that is:
because it went through the washing machine. ( I know!)
the screen doesn't work, but when I plug it into the USB port, the laptop recognizes it, and the call key doesn't work properly to call out, or obviously, anything else.
is there any way to get the contacts from the phone into the verizon backup assistant, or is there any other way? like taking it to the store?
    thanks.
PS. I just got my new DroidX and would really like to have those contacts...ya know?

  • As a new iPad user how do I transfer my email contacts list from my PCM to my ipad

How do I transfer my email contacts list from a laptop to my iPad?

Hi - Thanks for your response.  I have tried to find the answer in the manual, but cannot locate the exact solution.
Do I have to sync with iTunes? Does the iPhone just learn the addresses as I use it for email?  I'm confused because the "My Contacts" list that was transferred using VZ Contact Transfer is for cell phone numbers, not email addresses. But on my MacBook Pro I have "Address Book" with email addresses - that's what I want to transfer.  I'm a beginner with the iPhone - had a little basic flip-top LG for years. What a difference!!
