I want to ugrade my memory but upon searching online, it said I can upgrade up to 16GB and in Apple it said 8GB. How do i know what is the correct amount i can install without breaking the bank and making sure I can get the maximum benifit unpon investing into my Mac Book Pro 13in, Early 2011 Model.

The Mid 2011 Mac mini supports 8 GB of memory officially, but you can install up to 16 GB of RAM, so you can use 2, 4 and 8 GB modules. You can buy more RAM from OWC or Crucial.

I want to upgrade my memory to the full 16gb. I now have 4. Is it okay if I buy 1 8gb stick and 1 4gb stick to make it 16gb? Or does all of it have to be the same?
It probably would work, but that will only get you 12 GB however this will ONLY work work on a 2010 or 2011 iMac. The 2009 iMacs will not accept 8GB DIMMS. A 8GB DIMM is currently selling for about $700 USD, were you aware of that?
Assuming your machine is a 2010 or 2011 iMac and you want to get to 16GB with the existing (2 x 2GB) in theory you could upgrade to 16 GB with those, a 4GB DIMM & a 8GB DIMM. If that is your intention I would STRONGLY recommend you contact OWC (either by phone or chat session) and inquire. I've never heard of anyone using that route to get to 16GB before so honestly I don't know if it would work or not. -

I lost my ipod and I now found it and cant remeber the password. I don't want to wipe the memory because I have all of my music and photos on there. When I plug it into my computer it says it is password protected and it won't let me sync it.
You have to restore the iPod. You may be able to make a backup yu can restore from. Otherwise you will have to restore from an earlier backup.

Then restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 7.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

I Just recieved a new bb curve 3G from my hubby. I took a few pictures, but have not yet bought a memory card. I want to know how to get the pics i took already OFF my phone an onto my computer. I find it kind of dumb if you can't take the pics off your phone without a card as they are saved to my phone memory... Pls any help would be appreciated! Driving me nuts!!!!
Thanks in advance!When you get the media card, simply move the pictures to the media card right from the device. The only other way to do it is to install the Desktop Manager software to your computer and get the pictures through that.

Sorry to learn of the fate of your RAZR. No worries, I can help you erase the device. You would simply do a master reset. I did get the "1" result, so I know that I'm running at the 128 bit rate. I just checked it again, it still worked, enter the command and hit "return"

In Gmail, in the subject bar, I need to delete all prior subjects. Also, delete from the Google search bar. Right click does NOT show clear history.
Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks.<br />
You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar.<br />
This will open the Edit This Bookmark dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark if you want to remove such a bookmarked entry.<br />

I am thinking about putting in 2 gb and buying a matched pair. The price is right. But what about the quality?Do they guarantee compatibility with the iMac G5?
If not you're taking a gamble, the iMac is the most finicky Apple desktop about RAM compatibilty.
I recommend that you stick with a reputable seller who tests and guarantes compatibility with your model of Mac, offers a lifetime warranty and a no-cost return if it doesn't work.
