I want to uninstall my version of adobe elements 11 in order to upgrade my operating system and then re-install. I have the original disk but not the code or registration info - where can I find it or how can I contact someone who can help me?
Do I have to alert adobe if I'm moving my product from one computer to another? or will they recognise my intentions when my product is removed from their database?

I have a 3yr old HP running Windows 7. For a class in Powerpoint the school allowed me to download MS Office 2013. In a exercise to embed a video from YouTube it said I needed an Adobe Flash video plugin so I downloaded Adobe Flash Player 3 times with a reboot before the last time. Each time the same message came up. I initially reached out to this forum to see if there was a phone number for Adobe. Since the clock is ticking for when the assignment is due I hired the Geek Squad to troubleshoot. After optimizing my PC this is the message they ended up with after 6 hrs of work.

I am hesitant to bring it in since I don't know how long it would take to re-install and I kind of feel they didn't know what else to suggest. I am obviously at a point of frustration and don't have a clue as to why this is such an issue. Is it Adobe, is it MS, all are guesses. Best solution would be to give or sell it to someone in Mexico who can use it. You can do othing with it if it is locked o Mexican cell carrier.

Restart with the Mac OS X 10.6 DVD in the drive or with the Lion USB drive connected, hold down the Option key just after the restart, tab to the installation disk, and press Enter. If the computer has a firmware password set, it needs to be provided for this to work.

When trying to use this miserable help system and use the Automatically add button, I get asked to install an addon, which I allow, and click Install, but it never seems to work.

You appear to have installed quite an impressive amount of extensions, both enabled and disable extensions, and that could be a possible cause or there are otherwise problems with gathering this information.

I just upgraded to the new operating system on my iphone 4. I am trying to connect to imessage but I can't get it to work. I get a message saying to check my network settings. I have checked and I can connect to the internet. Any idea what I need to do?
If you have updated to iOS 5 then when you want to use messages you need register by going into settings then go to messages and then turn it on and use your apple I tunes ID. You can only use it between other updated devices.

If they are in your iTunes library, sync them back to your phone. If not, restore your iCloud backup. If you don't have one, you'll have to redownload them as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 (however this will not restore your app data).

I am new to LabView. I want to read the program running time and then decide what to do.
For exaple, if time is less than 1s, output sin signal;if time is more than 1s, output sawteeth signal. It is easy to be implemented in C or Simulink, but seems difficult for me in LabView.

(1) If there are more cases, such as one for t=1s, the second for t=3.2s,and a third for t=6.9s, do I have to use multi-layer case structure, since it only checks the result if it is true or false?
(2)Does labview provide us something to have the function such as 'switch...case' or 'if..else' in C/C++?
(3)Is there anything for a time-based multi-segment function?

I would like to run a formula ( for my custom field in Project 2013) that allows me to see the Finish Time e.g. 17:15 for a task. I am trawling through the online help to determine which one is best but I would like to read some examples
of how a function can be used. I hoped Help may do this but no.

Yeah I agree, the on-line help is lacking in information on how to actually USE a function. However, there are some places that may help. Here are a couple, I'm sure there are many others.

Since many of the custom field formulas are also used in VBA, I've found the object library reference for VBA to be very helpful in understanding and setting up custom field formulas. To get the the object library, go to Developer/Code group/Visual Basic.
Once the Visual Basic Editor window opens, hit View/Object Browser. Hit the Help menu and select the Help for Visual Basic. Type in the function of interest.
However, you say you want a custom formula to see the finish time for a task. You don't need any customization to see that. Simply go to File/Options/General tab and select a date format that includes the time.

When I log into ICloud.com on my computer, I do not see the photos icon. When I checked my general settings on my IPhone4S, it shows that I have PhotoStream turned on the ICloud. What am I doing wrong? When I had updated to the IOS 6 on my IPhone, I lost several of my pictures on the phone, but figured they would be on ICloud, but can't find any pictures. Help as I am not very tech savvy!
To use Find my iPad go to iCloud.com and sign in.
You cannot access this feature using the iCloud control panel. -
How do I contact someone at Adobe about an order problem?
I can't find any way to contact Adobe other than Live Support. I'm currently overseas and don't want to call on the phone.
I placed an order on Aug. 20th for upgrades to Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3. I have the order number in the confirmation e-mail, and the transaction is still Pending at PayPal.com.
Today, the order number can not be found in Order Status. Live Support said the order was cancelled because the "credit card was declined", and I should contact the "bank". As I told him (or her), the transaction was still Pending at PayPal.com.
Live Support simply said to resubmit the order, with no other offer of a solution.
I received no notice of any errors or issues! If an order was cancelled, wouldn't it be prudent to let the customer know?
When I started to resubmit the order, because I really want these upgrades, I realized the promotional pricing was no longer effective. So, my replacement order is now more expensive than the one that was mysteriously canceled.
What's going on with Adobe.com? This is by far the worst online purchasing experience I've ever had! I use PayPal all the time to order products and have never had a problem.
I think the worst part is how Adobe simply abandoned the entire process, leaving me completely in the dark, and leaving the order in a Pending status at PayPal.com. What am I supposed to do, just wait for another three days for some kind of notice?

The reason I ask this question is if you had placed the order while overseas the order will definitely be rejected since the IP address from where you placed the order will contradict the billing zip code which is a big deterrent when orders are processed.

This is for uninstalling CS2, but you might find it helpful. EDITED: but watch out, since I don't know if trashing any of these will remove currently needed Illustrator files, if you have a later version.
To uninstall Adobe Creative Suite in Mac OS 1 -- Double-click Activity Monitor.app in Applications/Utilities, select AHCRemind, and click Quit Process.
2 -- If you intend to install the product on a different computer, transfer the activation. (See “To transfer the product activation” on page 1.)
3 -- If you want to uninstall Adobe Acrobat, double-click the uninstaller in Applications/Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional, and follow the on-screen instructions.
4 -- If you want to uninstall Version Cue 2, double-click the uninstaller in Applications/Adobe VersionCue CS2, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: If the Version Cue uninstaller fails, see the alternative procecure, “To remove Version Cue manually” on page 4.
