  • Unsubscribed from Creative Cloud.  Do I need to reinstall?

    I bought a CS6 boxed suite, and I've just unsubscribed from Creative Cloud.
    Do I need to uninstall all the applications and then reinstall from the copy I got with the boxed suite?  Or is there a way I can just use the suite license to activate the software I already have installed?

    Hi Steve,
    Try activating the product by punching in the serial number (perpetual) at the time of launch. It should get activated ideally.

    Try installing Cs6 application from crative cloud now and check.

    If you didn't sign up for Creative Cloud then you don't have anything to cancel. Creative Cloud uses the same Adobe ID logins that are used on this forum and Adobe.com and elsewhere, so if you have an Adobe ID (you do as is evident by the fact that you posted a message here) then your ID can be used to create an account on Creative Cloud, but if you don't want to log in to Creative Cloud then just don't.

    I think the title says most of what my issue is. I'd like to get on a chat with a rep to straighten this out but evidently this isn't an option? Any advice? Adobe will bill my acc't tomorrow for CC and I'd like the switch to happen before that.

    We need to restrict our users from storing files outside the organization. How can we restrict this capability?

    They have Cs6, however I need to have my own copy, and the highest I can go with my system is CS5, maybe even 5.5. I've a small budget, and most copies are being sold for massive amounts because they're like collector items. I've seen the ones actually affordable within my range from sellers that arent trustworthy, or they're updates which I can't use.     Please quit the Creative Cloud desktop application by clicking the settings options and select Quit. Then please follow the following steps:
    Go to C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\Adobe and rename the folders "AAMUpdater" and "OOBE",
    Then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and rename "OOBE" folder.
    Make sure that the files and not hidden as AppData is hidden by default. Then relaunch Creative Cloud desktop application. Let me know for further help.

    After the October charge is processed I can cancel the membership which means it won't renew after November 27th but you'll still have full access until then.

  • How do I launch Lightroom 5.3 from Creative Cloud?

    I downloaded and installed Lightroom 5.3 from Creative Cloud.  I have been trying for 4 days to launch Lightroom.  Each time I try,Adobe asks for a serial number or wants to know if I want to try Lightroom 5.3 for 30 days.  I use an iMac 10.9.1.file:///Users/cawhet1/Desktop/Screen%20Shot%202014-02-18%20at%207.55.37%20PM.png.

    I believe there have been a good number of similar instances affecting CC users. It’s worth checking your purchase history to ensure you are properly subscribed. Go to Adobe.com and near the top right of the page log-in to My Adobe, unless you are already logged-in; in which case it will say welcome next to your name.
    Click on My Orders and this should show your latest invoicing. You can expand each section by clicking the small disclosure triangle icon to the left of each date.
    Then click on My Products and Services. Under the products section, which sometimes takes a few seconds to refresh, you should find Lightroom and if you expand the details it should contain an automatically generated serial number.
    The only suggestion I have is to Launch Lightroom again and if you see the trial screen click on licence this product and enter the serial number.
    It should not really be necessary with a CC app but let us know if that works.

  • Trouble with Adobe Acrobat Pro installation from Creative Cloud

    When I attempt to install Adobe Acrobat Pro from Creative Cloud, it will always fail on the first attemp. If I retry, it installs it. Then, when I open a pdf document, the application quits in seconds. I get a modal window with the license agreement. However, it is blank and the pull downs are empty. I hit a dead end.
    This is so aggravating; especially when Adobe is charging me for my membership every month.
    What gives? Can someone help with this?

    Brian which operating system are you using?  Do you receive any specific errors during the installation process?  If you are using a Windows operating system then please uninstall Acrobat using the Programs and Features control panel.  Once done then please try using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool available at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html.
    Also you mentioned that the EULA window is blank you may also want to see Blank EULA screen appears on Acrobat XI launch - http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/blank-eula-screen-appears-acrobat.html.  Solution 2 is not likely to be relevant unless you are using an operating system not currently supported by the Creative Cloud Desktop application.
