No, you only pay once, but both Macs must be running 10.6.8. Buy, download and install using the App Store on the first Mac.
On the second Mac, log into the App Store using the same AppleID, and go to the Purchased tab. You should see Lion. Download again and install from there.

do not confuse moving your whole folder and library with moving just media files as in

Quick answer if you let iTunes manage your music: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.
The fun will come when trying to keep them synchronized with each other. Maybe one of these commercial utilities:

No. You can install Lion on all machines under your control. BTW, to avoid wasting bandwidth, time, and electricity, when you first DL Lion, don't install it, quit the installer, and copy the Install Mac OS X Lion.app which is DL'd to /Applications to another location. The stupid, inane installer deletes itself as part of its installation process. Then, copy the saved version to the other machines. Do note that if you move the installer app from /Applications, you can install it, and it won't be deleted.

We transferred all the data from the desktop to a second log in, and now I want to move all of my email accounts from the second log in to the first log in. It appears to be downloading them from the server multiple times, because I have deleted some and they pop back up again and I have have marked them all read, and now a LOT of them are marked unread. I use a gmail account. Can you shed some light here, or do i have to go back to the Genius Bar?

Yes. If you open the activity monitor in mail you can see this process occuring. "Updating cache directory, indexing, etc.).

Is the problem of unreads showing back up when you mark as unread on one computer and check the other, or is it on your new macbook pro.

That's not needed, but if you want to do it, use the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder to create a new partition.

Backup your user files and folders manually (drag and drop) from all partitions/OS's installed to a external powered drive and disconnect this drive, before proceeding in addition to TimeMachine, Bootable Clones etc.
You need to make sure you're running the latest version of Snow Leopard10.6.8
Click the "Apple" symbol in the top left corner of your screen and select "About This Mac."
Make sure you're running version 10.6.8.
If not, click "Software Update" from the same Apple menu and update your system.
Then when that's finished launch the MacAppStore from the same menu.

These are user to user support forums and Apple doesn't respond here,
We users can't speak for Apple about your free Lion status or problems downloading, reissuing a download.
It's possible Apple could be spacing out the downloads as not to knock theservers offline. So be patient.
If after a week or so when the initial rush is over, and you still haven't gotten your Lion, I suggest you contact Apple.
Mission critical
If your using Mac's in a mission critical type environment or have third party hardware or software you must rely upon working correctly. It's advised to wait until all the bugs, driver updates, third party software and other issues are resolved before upgrading. This might take several months. Then if you do so, do one machine at a time andcarefully test everything before full deployment. -

Can I sync the same iTunes library on both my iMac and my MacBook Pro? I've been connecting my iPhone to each and it's causing problems for me with them being different, despite my purchases always being under the same Apple ID.
The easy way to do this is to keep the library on an external drive which you can plug into either computer. Of course this isn't always the desirable solution. You can try routinely copying the library from computer to computer though this gets tiresome.

When you purchase Mountain Lion, you can install it as many times as you want on all your computers for free. To install it on the desktop, open the App Store, go to Purchases tab and download OS X Mountain Lion.
Another option is to redownload it on the MacBook, put the installer onto a USB drive and connect it to the desktop in order to upgrade -
My iPhone 4s will not connect with my home WiFi network. I have ios6 on my iPhone. The connection was working perfectly before I updated my IMac and my MacBook Pro to ios 10.8.2. I have had ios6 since I purchased the phone a couple of months ago. It searches for a network and finds them, but when it asks for my password, it will not accept the password. Have never had this happen before.
