So far the issue is kind of solved... waiting for email instructions on how to transfer my Muse files to be able to host them with Catalyst.
But.... what a disappointment with Adobe right off the bat....
My CC subscription includes hosting to up to 5 websites.....
I called Adobe customer service, and they couldn't tell me what did my subscription included, instead, they sent me to Catalyst to purchase a product I already had....
Then I called Catalyst and they tell me to call back Adobe because my package already include a small subscription to Catalyst.... You think this guy Catalyst will get fired for not trying to sell me something I already had??!!
Seems like customer service from Adobe, and some of the people at the forums are obsessed on trying to sell you something before looking at the real issue.
My previous experience on Adobe forums was on Acrobat from which I asked how to position a table in the file, some dude answer that I needed to buy some other program when all I needed was to press Shift + Arrow........
People must be careful with Adobe.... they have good programs, but they will milk every dollar you have before paying attention to technical solutions their customers can use with their apps.

first of all your phone have to be all paided off.
if your phone is all paid off you can call your carrier (have someone who speaks korean to call) tell them that your moving/visiting your country and you would like your phone to be unlocked. somehow they do this over the phone and it takes three - four days for them to do this.

Are there any specific codecs or import libraries that will allow Premiere 6 to import more file types? I'm using Premiere 6 on Windows 7.
It seems that the only kind of file that can be imported in to this version of Premiere are certain types of AVI files... even some types of AVIs will import but then will not appear when placed in the timeline... no MPGs, MP4s, WMVs, or anything else will import at all.
Virtually every file that I need to bring in to Premiere 6 has to be converted to AVI with the H.264 codec first.
Any help would be helpful.

My inquiry isn't as much to do with the AVIs that won't import as it is to do with figuring out the way that I can make MPGs, MP4s, MOVs and WMVs import in to Premiere 6.
The AVIs that do import were converted or created using the H.264 codec. I do know a little about codecs, but I don't hold the PhD in codecs that is apparently required to completely understand them.

So, if I understand correctly, Bill is saying the Premeire Elements 4 is actually newer than Premiere 6 and that the Pr Elements apps will actually import more movie file formats than the regular versions of Premiere and Premiere Pro?... for someone trying to learn about these apps, one must admit that this seems to be reverse logic... this would be saying that Adobe gave the cheaper "consumer" versions of Premiere the ability to work with 3 or 4 more movie file formats than the more expensive "pro-sumer" version of Premiere.

The built-in web browser instruction manual in Premiere 6 shows this statement on the "Importing Clips" page, as shown in my screenshot linked above...
"File format support is provided by plug-in software modules. Over time, additional or updated file formats may be available from Adobe or other manufacturers, such as QuickTime."
This indicates that additional file format support can be added to Premiere 6 by "plug-in software modules", and that "over time, additional or updated file formats" were predicted to become available that would be supported by the file format manufacturers, such as Adobe themselves and other manufacturers such as QuickTime.
Since that was written ten years ago or more, there has certainly been the chance for these additional "plug-in software modules" to be developed "over time"... so I'm asking, "Where are they available?"
What I'm saying is, I will do my homework to earn at least my Bachelor's degree in codecs, but more than an education in codecs, I need to find these mysterious, "plug-in software modules" for Premiere 6 that Adobe wrote about and referred to over ten years ago.
Thanks for any clues as to where to locate these "plug-in software modules".

I'm buying a new computer for use with Creative Cloud. Are there any advantages to PC vs Mac?
I'm replacing a seven year old Dell that still works but is getting rather long in the tooth. I have CS4 web design. (For PC)
I have a Macbook Pro (so I'm familar with Mac OS)
I'm upgrading my computer to mainly use the Creative Cloud.
Are there any advantages (related to Creative Cloud) to buying a Mac or a PC?
I just don;t wan't to a Mac and then find that many features don;t work that are on the PC (or vice versa)
Or is one interface easier to use than another?

The software is, to all intents and purposes, the same in either operating system. There are minor differences between them, usually related to the hardware or the operating system. But if you can use the software in Windows, you'll be able to use it on a Mac too.
It's a matter of which environment you prefer: Windows or Mac. I use both daily since the Cloud allows you to install on Windows and/or Mac. -

You could use a browser that does not use Flash or Java, as a safety measure when visiting sites; the Safari browser has no support or recent updates. TenFourFox v 24 is fairly good, and uses later Mozilla code, is compatible with powerPC computer limitations. SeaMonkeyPPC has a similar code, but acts a little different; and there still is iCab, a good browser that will run free, but asks you get a $20. license.
The Safari browser can be used to set a different browser up as system default, so it won't launch and open attachments or web pages; it has a setting in its preferences where you choose another browser as default. As I have four or five browsers and one dedicated to gmail (launched as signed-in, through notifier) that is how I've used the default, otherwise mine are all in the Dock.
There is no new upgrade for Adobe Flash plugin player, etc; but the one in their site for vintage is still available at getflash player at Adobe. Most prompts online are to get you something else, even adware loads up from some not-so-clever efforts to get people to install junk. So go to the source. Someone wrote a patch that is supposed to allow a later version of Flash player to work in older 10.5.8 PPC Mac, but I have not tried it.
The thread of security is mostly based on the user and their caution to avoid odd free software and also avoid some sites that try to get people to load cleanmymac or genieo, or other adware malware voluntarily. Those are troublesome and hard to remove, and can waste processor cycles, slow the computer & mess it up. Mostly from a browser the adware issues arise. So anyway, there is really nothing new on the face of it for obsolete OS X systems users.

I AM A PASSIONATE APPLE USER. Please don't get me wrong. I love every Apple product we have. I am just a bit discouraged that as a person living and working overseas, I do not have the same opportunity to build my Mac to my specifications. I am bound to buying the products through the Exchange. I appreciate that they are carried but when I compare to the Store, I am discouraged that there are some FREE options offered to Stateside folks not offered to AAFES/Exchange consumers. I want a track pad instead of a mouse. It seems that is where Mac technology is headed. Lion will all but REQUIRE it for many of the new features coming! Apple should offer new purchasers the opportunity for a free upgrade to a track pad!

effect?Eclipse does not directly provide Android support. That being said, I know that Google has an Android Development Kit that runs on top of Eclipse. You should search the Android development site for instructions on how to integrate their plugin into Eclipse.

Is there any other flashplayer besides Adobe's that Firefox can use?
Running Windows XP,Firefox 29.0, and Adobe Flashplayer 13. Computer acknowledges install but won't display player. It shows itself for a few seconds and then the black window disappears and nothing else happens. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, tried stand alone installer, everything that I've seen suggested. Is there some kind of block or timeout mechanism I'm missing?
In case one of your extensions is interfering, could you test Flash in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
(Flash and other plugins still run)
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).

Are there any DAQmx examples available for use with pci 6229 M series card?
I have been searching around for examples which work with the pci 6229 M series DAQ card. Most examples do not list this card as applicable and the one I have found gives an error. Is there anywhere specifically available, what I am particularly interested in is seeing an analogue channel being triggered by another analogue channel reaching a certain value.

You are right in the fact that the M-Series card is newer than LabVIEW (and therefore the examples that are shipped with it) and therefore the example finder doesn't list the M-Series cards in the list of available hardware.
Basically though, the M-Series cards work with DAQmx and not Traditional DAQ so if you just go into the example finder and search under Hardware Input and Output>>DAQmx and choose an example from that folder to run on your M-Series card. As long as you don't try to do anything outside of the specifications of your card (which I doubt you will do) then you shouldn't have any trouble running any of the DAQmx examples on an M-Series card.

I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro and it started to beep for the first time when I started up today. I think it was 3 continuous beeps then a pause. It sounded like an alarm and totally freaked me out. Then I pressed the on/off button for about 5 seconds and it restarted. I was able to get online, but then I had trouble with the trackpad, which is okay now. I have AppleCare and want to take it to an Apple Store, but I'm currently residing in Antalya, Turkey. I will be in Athens, Greece until January 1st. I just bought a 12 core with Quatro 4000 and 5770, I want to use dual monitor setup, monitors are NEC with Spectraview-II. How do I connect? 4000 only has 1 Display Port and 1 DVI. 5770 has 2 of each, if I use both 5770 Display Ports, does the 4000 contribute any work at all? I read where on a PC they would work together, but on a MAC they do not.
I read that Display Port has higher band width than DVI, NEC monitors for best performance they recommend using DIsplay Port.
When I was setting this up I looked at a Nvidia Quadro 4000, unfortunately it was for PC, it had 2 Display Ports, in the Mac version they reduce it to one. I did not think there could be a difference.
Mainly want to use it for CS6 and LR4.
How to proceed???
I do not want to use the Quadro 4000 for both, that would not optimize both monitors, one DP and 1 DVI. Using just the 5770 would work but I do not think the 4000 would be doing anything, and the 5770 has been replaced by the 5870.more bandwidth.
Any ideas, I am a Mac newbie, have not ever tried a Mac Pro, just bought off ebay and now I have these problems.
As a last resort I could sell both and get a 5870. That would work, I'm sure of that, it's just that I wanted the better graphics card.

I am a novice at Mac so I read all I can. From what I understand the NEC monitors I bought require Display Port for their maximum performance. The GTX 680 only has DVI outputs. Difference from what I understand is larger bandwidth with the DP.
You said I have the 4000 for CUDA. I am not all that familiar with CUDA and when I do read about it I do not understand it.
A concern I have is, that if I connect the 2 high end NEC monitors via the 5770, using it's 2 Display Ports I would have nothing connected to the 4000. Is the 4000 doing anything with nothing connected? I read where in a PC system the 2 cards would interact but in a Mac system they do not.
Bottom line, as I see it, the 4000 will not be useful at all to me, since I want a dual monitor set-up.
So far the 5870 seems the best choice, higher band width than the 5770, and it has 2 Display Ports to optimize the NEC monitors.
I'm not sure how fine I am splitting hairs, nor do I know how important those hairs are. I am just trying to set up a really fast reliable system that will mainly be used for CS6 and LR4. Those NEC monitors are supposed to be top notch. -

If your phone is offline, the ONLY way to find it is to look for it the old fashioned way. Your phone CANNOT be located electronically if it's offline.

Downloaded Movie Trailers Can Not Be Watched
