It sounds like you want to setup your Airport Express to Airplay music from iTunes. I found an article with steps to help you get this setup:
Connecting to an existing Wi-Fi network, exclusively for iTunes music
AirPort Express used exclusively for AirPlay by setting it up in Client Mode.
Choose this configuration if the computer containing your iTunes library may be out of direct range of the AirPort Express, but is within range of the Wi-Fi network.
How to Set It Up
Connect your AirPort Express to your home stereo or powered speakers.
From your computer, join the wireless network. Use the AirPort status menu in the menu bar on a Mac. On a Windows-based computer, hold the pointer over the wireless connection icon until you see your AirPort network name (SSID), and choose it from the list if there are multiple networks available. Enter the network password, if necessary.
Open iTunes on your computer and choose the AirPort Express(es) you wish to stream music through from the speakers pop-up menu in the lower-right corner of the iTunes window.

I want to use the expression edit control in a VC++ DLL, how?
Good morning,
as mentioned I want to use the expression edit control in my DLL written with VSC++ 2005 MFC. But I ran into some problems:
If I just add the ExpressionEdit control from the toolbar to my dialog then the dialog will not be shown during runtime. As soon as I delete the control the dialog shows up.
In the TS examples is one called 'TCL' (...National Instruments\TestStand 4.1.1\Examples\Tcl\source\EditSubstep). This is programmed in C++ and uses the expression edit control.
The original dll works fine but as soon as I compile the editsubstep with my VS 2005 I get a runtime error (see image).
What do i have to do to be able to use this control?
Has anybody an working example for me?

I am installing itunes on a new computer (Windows 8,1). I want to start fresh and would like to import my music from my music file and not from icloud. How do I make sure icloud doesn't automatically populate itunes on the new computer?
Uncheck Edit > Preferences > Store > Show iTunes in the cloud purchases
The correct way to move iTunes from one computer to another is to copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer (or backup of the old computer) to the new computer. This will make everything in iTunes on the new computer exactly as it was on the old computer. -

I spend a lot of time in a location far from home. I bought a new MacPro 12 core to use at home and took the old 4 core to the alternate location. I figured I could just take my hard drives back and forth instead of schlepping a whole MacPro. The 12 core has a SSD drive to boot from and a 2 TB storage drive for photo files. It came with Mountain Lion (10.8.2). At the new location the 4 core does not find the SSD and won't boot. Grey screen. If I take the SSD out I can boot with the 2TB drive but it boots in OSX 10.6.8. I can get by with that workaround, but I'd like to use the SSD if I can because PhotoShop runs a lot faster from it.
The SSD does not show up in Finder or Disk Utility when the computer is booted up with the 2TB drive.
What do I need to do?...or that the installed image on the SSD came from a model-specific version of Mac OS X that shipped with that Mac, and does not have the drivers to support a different model Macintosh, not even an older Mac Pro.
You can install a new Mac OS X image, such as "Full Retail" 10.6.3 off a DVD in under an hour, and have it up to date and ready for production in only a little more time.
Or you could clone 10.6.8 onto the SSD (from the other Hard Drive that does boot) in about a quarter hour. -
I can't hear people when they call me. How do I raise the volume with out using the head phones?
You can only raise and lower the earpiece volume while you are on a call. So, make a call, then use the bottons on the side to adjust the volume. If you're not in a call, those buttons will adjust the ringer/media volume.

As stated above, if i go out during the day, buy an app, download a song and take 20 photo's when i get home my devices will all take 30mins to sync before i can even browse websites or check my facebook at home.

Full GC happens regularly without using the full heap/memory
we are running at linux 64 bit with 4G memory and the jdk is
jdk1.6.0_04 / Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM version 10.0-b19
we experienced frequent and regular full gc (around 30 min and the memory usage just reached around 1 to 1.2g), each full gc spent around 2 seconds
from the graph from jconsole, we observed that the memory usage + full gc happened regularly
we need to use the full memory and reduce (completely) the happening of full gc
we have studied different sources and tried different configuration, but still got not clue to solve the problem
hope to find some hints to solve the problem here
this is our relevant vm options:

(each 4 core)
we want to minimize the full gc, because we don't allow "halting"
but at least we want the vm to make use of the full memory (3.5G) before it goes to full gc

I have partitioned the internal hard drive and am running Lion and Win7 Pro on my iMac i5 2.7GHz with 16GB RAM. Can I use Boot Camp to create a Windows partition on an OSX external hard drive to use for backing up both systems to the same HDD? I do NOT want to install OSX Lion or Windows 7 Professional on the external drive. I do NOT want to boot either system from the external drive. The 3TB external drive is for backup only.
Use NTFS for Windows and buy Paragon NTFS for OS X
You can also try Paragon HFS for Windows
As long as you are using for data and backups, you can leave the drive as GPT too.
I would recommend strongly to always have a 2nd bootable Mac OS drive, only need 30GB partition. System maintenance. Though LIon Recovery Mode finally makes it less but not totally unneeded.
And yes you can use Windows to create a partition.
Boot Camp is too broad. Do you want or mean BC Assistant? not needed but probably possible.
MBR has trouble with 3TB drives. -
I have adobe acrobat 11 reader writer I want to use the pointer symbol on full screen instead of the hand, iwas able to do it on adobe 10 also when in full screen i can't open attachments unless i right click and open it then it boots me out of full screen is there any way i can click on the attacment without going out of full screen
I don't know why the change, but the pointer appears in the same way as it does on the main screen, not a pointer. There does not appear to be anyway to change it. You may want to submit a comment to the Features Requests: Acrobat Feature Requests. I also submitted this as a bug.
As a clarification, your "adobe acrobat 11 reader writer" is not informative. There is Acrobat 11 and Reader 11. Writer is not a product as such. So you have referred to Acrobat in a contradictory manner. In the future, please just indicate Acrobat 11 or Adobe Acrobat 11.

Built-in Calc program disappeared
not sure what I did, but the "Calc" program on my Centro has disappeared! I had switched it to "scientific" mode by hitting "right" (on the 5-way button), now there's a "ScientificCalc" program which won't start up because of an error. Any ideas how
