I want to use the Maps feature on my X3

I purchased a Nokia X3 two weeks ago.
I would like to use the Maps feature for work purposes.
According to the Nokia website this mobile has Nokia Maps preinstalled (reference http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/compatibility-and-download#/nokia-x3/)
So why am I required to purchase an External Bluetooth GPS module?
The website clearly states “You’re good to go. Your mobile has Nokia Maps preinstalled. You can now find the good places to know and the best way to go in over 180 countries worldwide.”
Which device is compatible with the X3 handset?

The X3 comes with the Nokia Maps software preinstalled but it does not have an integrated gps chip like some of the other models.
You can still use the software to browse maps and plan journeys but you won't be able to use it for live turn by turn directions becuase it does not have the gps chip to tell it your current position. To do that you need to get an external bluetooth gps receiver chip such as the Nokia LD-4W. Cheaper alternatives are available from online shops.

Using the map feature

I'm a brand new convert to Apple, and am loving it. I've burned a great slideshow project using iDVD, but would like to change the menus around to appear chronological on the DVD menu. It seems that my project has ordered the menu in the order that I imported the QT movies. When I click around on the DVD menu, the remote highlights the submenu not based on how they are placed on the screen, but in the order they were imported. How do I change the order of the slideshows so that when I navigate using the DVD remote the submenus are highlighted in the order I want? When I go to the map feature and try to reorder, it is locked. When I try to reorder from within the Media Customize screen, it is also locked.

Doesn't take that long if they are iMovie projects but ----
why not create a new blank page. Cut and paste all the slideshows to it apart from the first one you want. Now cut and paste them back in the order you want. It might work.
Actually in the theme I use you can move the menu items around the screen at will and re-order them. There is an option for this in the customize pane.

I Dont Want To Use The Bounce Feature Anymore : ( Is There Another Way?

Im convinced that the bounce feature takes a little something away from your sound of your file. I there a way i can mixdown my song in realtime without using the "bounce" feature. I love WaveBurner but im sure i cant record my project straight to it in "realtime".
A friend of mine says he takes his multitrack project, output it from the soundcard from computer (A) to computer (B) inputs, realtime record it onto a stereo track (most of the time to a 96K format). and then burn THAT file to cd.
That sounds cool i guess but i dont want to run out a buy another computer and soundcard just to achieve this!
Any suggestions?

Have you tried recording back into the same song, onto a new stereo track?
So for instance, go out of your interface, back into your interface, with the new stereo track's inputs set to match. Word of caution... MUTE that stereo track that you will be recording to, or at the very least, turn software monitoring off, or set it's output to "no output".
However, in my experience, the only thing you'll gain from doing that is an extra conversion step, which is never ideal.
Also... how hard are you hitting your main output in Logic? If it's at 0dB, or close to it, that very well may be part of the problem, or why you may feel things sound "wrong". If you are mixing entirely "in the box", keep all your levels VERY conservative, and try to make the loudest points in the song peak out at -6dB or -7dB.
Someone else can explain the technical details... but this practice is important to observe when working in the box entirely. Once I started to adhere to it, my mixes were much more "open", and dynamic. It truly made a huge difference to the sound.
And the lower volume can be made up for in mastering.

The VUSB software supplied by CISCO to connect to the router worked on two of the three PC's in my network. The software comes with little debug facility and badly written help pages, so I'm currently stuck on this.
CISCO's online help response was the router is OK, therefore they will not help any more.
Now I'm stuck digging through forums, trying to work out why their software doesn't work.

Was using the maps feature, it crashed and then my phone went black and won't turn on now. :-(.

I Don't know what happened to it. I'm also having the problem of calls going straight to voicemail.

Pressing just the Power button can also do a Reset as well... I added some additional things that can help if your phone is giving you issues in the Future..

Sorry, your question isn't very clear... What are you asking?
- what storage capacity does the phone have?. (8gb, 7 available to user)
- will the phone run if it has only 500kb free?. (doubtful)
- is it possible to stream netflix through your Pixi to your PS3? (doubtful again). You would have to be getting a strong 3g signal and then figure out how to get netflix to work.
If I were you, I'd search for this answer over at PreCentral.net. I got zero hits for "Netflix" in the Pixi board. Many users were using "FreeTether" instead of the VZW app.

You don't need a phone port on the iMac. The HP 7300 DeskJet Pro has an internal modem, you connect the printer's modem connection directly to your phone line. Please re-read the install directions that came with the printer.

Unless you installed the ARD administration application on the computers yourselves, all they'll have is the client. The ARD admin app is not included with Macs; it must be purchased from the Mac App Store. If you did for some reason install the ARD admin app, just remove it.

I just lost my iphone 4 and I wanted to use the Find my iphone on it, but i laso just discovered that my wife's phone is using the same icloud account so when clicked on the Find my iphone, it is finding "her" iphone. How can I use it to find "my" iphone

If your phone is powered on, and has an Internet connection it will automatically find it when logged into that account in the Find my iPhone app.
The fact that it didn't appear suggests the phone is off, has no internet or Find my iPhone is not turned on in it.

I want to use the same SSID in two sites (central y remote)

I have several AP in H-REAP mode, one of them is in a remote location anthe other are in the central location. I want to use the same SSID in both locations with differents VLANS.
In the central site, i have 3 WLANS (SSID) whit 3 different VLAN eachother. I put the local swicthing in one SSID that I want to use in the remote site. In the remote location the users can authenticate and everything works fine but in the central location that SSID doesnt work, the user in the central location can not authenticate.
It seems that i can not use the same WLAN (SSID) and use it en both locations checking the local switching.
What can i do?

Look I have 2 two VLANs Interfaces (vlan 252 & Vlan253) created on WLC, beside the management VLAN (ID 254), and there are 8 AP´s installed at the central location, each AP has been connected to my CORE Switch through switch ports mode Access vlan 254.
th aeuthentitcation i have been used is "LOCAL: WPA-WPA2-PSK" in both locations (Central and remote). In the remote sites, tha AP is connected to a cisco switch through switch port mode trunk, and I use VLAN 251. When the local switching feature is activeted on WLC, I can map the VLAN 251 (in te remote site) to the SSID I am using inthe central site and everything works fine but in the central locations the user can associste to he AP but they can not receive IP from the appropiate VLAN.
I don t know what parameter have to change....

There is a workaround, which is to use Airport Utility 5.6.
I can confirm that 5.6 will run on 10.8.4 Mountain Lion, it will recognize the new 2013 Airport Extreme Base Station (A1521) running firmware 7.7.1, and it will give you access to view the device's Log & Statistics, DHCP Clients, and Profiles.
Four caveats:
1) The easiest way to install it is to download the app itself, not an installer or through the App Store. There is a page here where you can download the app: http://coreyjmahler.com/2013/03/08/airport-utility-5-6-on-os-x-v10-8-mountain-li on/ This way, you still have both versions, Airport Utility 6.x.x and 5.6.
2) When you launch 5.6, you'll get a message saying a newer version is available and asking if you want to update. Click Cancel to proceed into the utility.
3) When you click the Manual Setup button in 5.6, you'll get a warning dialog that "This version of AirPort Utility doesn't support this AirPort wireless device and might improperly configure the device if you continue to use it. Check www.apple.com/support/airport for the latest version of AirPort Utility." You can click Continue to get into the utility without issue.
4) You should probably only use 5.6 to view the additional status details. I have not tried to modify and save any AEBS settings using 5.6. There are other discussions here in the forums indicating that attempting to save settings via 5.6 that are no longer available in 6.3.1 will not actually save the settings to the AEBS even if both utilities indicate that the settings are changed. So, even though you can't use it to modify settings no longer available in Airport Utility 6.3.1, using Airport Utility 5.6 to view DHCP clients, Logs and Statistics is very useful for troubleshooting network issues.
PS - There are two ways to get to the DHCP Clients list, neither of which is obvious The first is to go to the Airport pane -> Summary tab and click on the "Wireless Clients:" label in the Summary display. All of the labels from "Wireless Mode:" down on the Summary display operate as links to view/edit the corresponding info/settings, which is also not obvious at first glance. Also not obvious, clicking on "Wireless Clients:" actually brings up a new pane with three tabs: Logs, Wireless Clients, and DHCP Clients. You can also get to the same pane by going to the Advanced pane and clicking on the Logs and Statistics button.

I just updated my original iPad 32 GB WiFi to iOS 5.1 about fifteen minutes ago. But I did it with the system restore feature in iTunes. So it wiped out everything on my iPad. But it did work. Then I restored an earlier backup and all went fine. Maybe you could try backing up your iPad and then using Restore to get it back to factory settings to see what happens.

I had a similar problem and found help for it. Go to the "Advanced" menu and select Extend features in Adobe Reader. That will enable rights which may resolve your problem. If that doesn't work, there is a really helpful guy in here, Robert Levine. You may want to ask him directly.
