    Hi TKCDM1!
You should try to get this purchase onto your iOS device by using the suggestions in the following article:

  • How will i know if an itunes email gift card has been redeemed by the recepient? do i get a notification?

I just want to check if the iTunes email gift card has been redeemed (without directly asking the recepient themselves). Is there a way to check that? Would I get an email notificaiton when the gift card is redeemed?

You can't log into any site and see your account's balance. You can log into your account on your iPad via Settings > iTunes & App Store - on my iOS devices my balance shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to). You may not see anything if your account's balance is zero.
Not sure what you mean by relationship iTunes has to products. You can buy music, films, TV shows, audiobooks via the iTunes app on your iPad, and apps via the App Store app - what you buy will be tied to your iTunes account.

With an US iTunes Gift Card, you can purchase whatever you want. It's good toward any purchase on the iTunes Store. http://www.apple.com/itunes/gifts/

  • How can I purchase an iTunes Match gift card

My son requested an iTunes Match gift card for Christmas; can anyone tell me how to purchase one for him?  Thank you!

    Hi Patricia,
When I signed up for iTunes Match, the $25 annual fee was deducted from my iTunes credit, so if you buy a iTunes gift card worth at least $25, that would work.  However, if your son has an account with the UK iTunes store, he won't be able to use the service, because it's currently only available to those who have a US iTunes account (I've heard it will probably be available in other countries next year).

Hi I have itunes UK on my lap top and my daughter has been bought an Itunes USA gift card how can I use this please?

Gift cards can only be used in the country in which they are purchased - so in order to use a US gift card you would need to have a US iTunes account.

can I redeem a gift card purchased in another counry
I have a gift card purchased in the UK and live in Ireland

Sell it or give it away to a person who lives in the UK.
As you found out, you can only use a card purchased in the UK in the UK store.

  • HT201209 Where is iTunes code when you purchase online gift card? It is not included in the email to the receiver.

    Support says:
In the text box, enter your 16-digit code which starts with an "X". (If you have an iTunes Gift Card, this is printed on the back of the card).
But no code is included in the receivers email when notifed about the giftcard. And they only way to 'redeem' it is to have a code. Am I missing something?

I just purchased a new MacBook to replace my old one.   I could have sworn my last laptop came with iWork (Pages, Keynote, Numbers), but this one does not have any of the iWork suite included and I have to purchase it for $80!  Good thing it came with a $100 iTunes gift card.  Perhaps I can use this to get the software I need.  I am shocked and really disapointed.   Does this bother anyone else?  I enjoy Mac products, but my wife and I always playfully jab back and forth about Mac vs. PC (she is not a big Mac fan).  I am hesistant to mention this to her as I am sure I will never live it down.   Thanks Mac! *heavily laden in sarcasm*  Any suggestions, commiserating and pointing in the right direction would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Casey
No, I cannot recall ever seeing a new Mac shipped with a fully working version of iWork. Maybe a 'trial' version? Not even sure there. I have always had to purchase these programs if and when required. Apple are already selling their OSs for over $100 less than they used to be. So do you seriously believe that they will just give away every other Software package that they create?
    Good Luck

  • ITunes Without Gift Card?

Is there any way to buy a certain amount of credit on the iTunes Store without having to actually purchase a gift card? I mean, is there a way to plunk down $25 or $50 in my iTunes account online, without the whole hassle of redeeming a physical card, or having them debit my credit card for each and every purchase? I just want a cache of "funny money" in my account to make impulsive iTunes purchases, not break out my credit card every time I want to buy a 99¢ song or run to Walmart to buy a gift card.

Thanks for the suggestion. The only thing is, I don't want a monthly recurring thing, I just want to plunk down an amount and do it again when I eventually burn through the funds. I do see there are printable gift certificates, which would probably do the trick. I'd just go through the purchase, then input the gift cert's numbers and have a little stash of funny money. However, I see, in big bold letters, "Gift Certificates can only be redeemed in the store in which they were created." What does that mean? Is the App section of the iTunes Store a different store than the Music section? What store are they referring to?
