i recognize i lost my phone on 7 PM 01 OCT 2014. When i use icloud and Find My Iphone to Lost Mode it. but on the second day they hack my ID and use my phone i can not find it. you can check my ID
How can i believe the Apple System to protect for Apple customer by Icloud, Find My Iphone.. ?
It's only some 13" 2010 models that can handle 16GB... for the 15"+ only 8GB.
Be certain to purchase the correct RAM for your machine. Crucial and OWC are the brands that most of us rely on.

It's been suggested that somehow you may have emails being routed to your SMS, which is passing marketing emails from Apple to your text messaging. Go here:

and unsubscribe and see if the SMS messages then stop. You can also check your Apple ID:

I bought the company unlocked phone from apple store Canada. It was originally loaded with software 4.2 and was working fine here in SaudiArabia. Yesterday I updated with IOS 5.0.1. Now it is showing that sim is not valid. The same sim works fine in other phones.
Here's and update on my problems and here are are some screen shots of the types of problems I've been having since the v5.0.1 update. Keep in mind these are native apps and I have tried the rebuild phone crap many times, nothing helps.
This is screen shot of a what happened when I tried to use my camera one day, both the front and back cameras were all black. I had to power cycle the phone to get rid of this problem. The cameras appeared to be working correctly, I could focus and zoom but it was all black.
Here is an image of what happened when I searched for something in a map. This is after I picked the choice I wanted, the keyboard disappeared but the list didn't. I had to force close the app and restart it for this problem to go away. Who knew five bars on ATT was possible.
And finally this is the messaging app, although you would not know it. I had to return to home screen (after a long pause for it to process the button push) and return to the messaging app. This happens all the time with the messaging app and the notifications sounds drive me crazy. If i'm using the phone, say browsing the web and I get an incoming message its almost 100% of the time the messaging app will screw up. The sound will play at the wrong time or not at all, message will show up in notifications and diasapear in message app or Ill have a problem like this: -
My phone was stolen and I discontinued cell service to the phone through my provider. However, before discontinuing service, I locked my phone from the icloud. Now that it is no longer being serviced by the service provider, will the phone remain locked?
Thanks, James. Sadly, I had not upgraded to iOS 7 as I only had an iphone 4 and those I knew with the 4 who upgraded had major issues with battery life, so I decided not to upgrade. However, I know the phone was locked because the new "owner" called and hung up on me while calling the number I listed in the "This phone is stolen message" set by the cloud. Are you saying that my phone will remain locked if they don't know how to break into it? Or are you saying that it will no longer stay locked once I turned off service to the phone?

If your iPhone is new and you purchased from an Apple (Corporate ) Retail Store then you have to activate after inserting a new carrier sim for first time

The iPad is not a mobile phone and therefore cannot make or receive calls. The iPad can send a message to another iOS device using the Messages app but the iPad cannot send or receive cellular text messages using the SMS system that all cell phones use. There may be an app that gets around this limitation though so check the App Store.

Do I have to pay the upgrade fee if I buy my phone from apple?
I can't find anywhere where the upgrade fee is explained fully. I know if I buy my phone from apple, it is a "verizon" phone -- will they charge me the upgrade fee, will verizon charge it when I activate the phone, or does it not apply if I buy it via the apple store?
If you are buying the phone at full price (or Verizon EDGE), there won't be any upgrade fee. If you are getting a subsidized phone (2-year contract) there will be an upgrade fee.

Was anyone able to purchase 2 phones from Apple for a FamilyTalk plan
On June 17 I placed 2 separate orders for 32GB phones, both lines eligible for upgrade pricing. After waiting patiently since June 17 I received an email from Apple today that there is a "problem" with the 2nd order and to check with AT&T to resolve it. I spent 1 1/2 hrs on the phone with them while they were trying to find the problem, they couldn't find one and said the 1st phone has already gone through and the 2nd phone is eligible and the account is OK etc. I then called Apple and the guy I talked to there now says that because this was a family plan that I am only able to purchase 1 phone online and that the other one has to be bought in a store or from AT&T. I thought that as long as it was 2 separate orders it was OK, was I wrong and now I have to try & find one in a store now?
I am so frustrated.....

Kathy, I had a similar problem when I went to order two phones from Apple on June 16, I also have a FamilyTalk plan. I had an Apple CSR on the phone when I made the orders. I suspected that both orders had gone threw for the same phone # but the CSR assured me that everything was okay. So I ordered the phones on June 16, they both went to Prepared to Ship on July 3. Then on July 4 one of the orders went back to its previous status, then the email from Apple came on July 5 saying that there was a problem with an order and I should contact AT&T and of course it does not say which order. So I contacted AT&T and it turns out that two orders went in for my wife's phone # even though the CSR said the order was fine and she checked both orders for me. The AT&T rep I talked to on July 5 said he talked to Apple and that I would have to cancel the order in question and re-order the phone for my #. So I ended up putting in a new order with AT&T because of the 7-10 ship rather than the 3 weeks from the Apple site. So the first phone is still Prepared to Ship and the second phone sits in backordered status with AT&T. I wish they would have informed me of the problem right away rather than three weeks after I put in the initial order. So I feel your pain, you are not alone. -
I just got a replacement phone from apple under warranty, do you think it would be brand new or a reconditioned?

But returning to your proposal ... Apple does not sell any of the "wifi" connections. It would be up to providers of service to sell giftcards, and perhaps Boingo or some of other airport-commercial WiFi firms do. I can't think of any other place I've been asked to pay for WiFi.
Now Verizon and AT&T, as well as other providers in other countries, could sell Gift Cards... and again, perhaps they do, but you'll have to check with them or make the suggestions there. It's really not an Apple issue, as they don't sell or provide any connections, just the hardware to make them. -

Take it to an authorized service center or Apple Store in the country where the phone originated. Apple does not sell iPhones in Pakistan, nor will they ship them to Pakistan.
