I wanted to change my apple id displayed on screen to my new apple id created because if i want to use the apps to purchase will not accept anymore my old apple id it always say wrong apple id or password...please do the needful as i want to use it for some purchases....as well as my icloud id....

If your apple id and passowrd is incorrect, it's better to sort it out.
Creating a new Apple ID will make all your previous content purchases useless (not be able to update).

When I tried to log in with the new email addy, I got a message that this emaill addy had not been set up as an account yet. THe email address you want to use may be set as the recovery email for another account. That would prevent you from using it, until you remove it from that account.

I purchased a iPhone from a individual, so, it has all his information as far as signing into iTunes...I want to change the Apple ID/e-mail on my iPhone and iTune account without loosing the current information/settings on my iphone.

Everyone that has or had a iPhone, if they did not buy from the dealer, they purchased it from a individual...in most cases, the phone has to be unlocked unless it's being used with the same carrier as the seller. My question is, when you purchase the phone from a individual and it has been unlock and has the seller's information...e-mail/Apple ID information for iTunes..so I can't purchase anything from the apple store because I don't have his password...I was wondering how do I change that without resetting it to the original settings, is there any way I can purchase from the iTune Store with my own Apple ID. I sold my first iPhone, it was unlocked, and the guy that purchased my phone, set up it so he could use his own Apple ID, but, I never asked how he did that, because I did not think at the time I would purchase another iPhone... anyhow, does anyone have the answer...please advise...thanks in advance...

Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using your ID.

You can change everything, but it will be frusturating at first. I got my open-box iPad from sams club and it was still associated with some one elses Apple ID.
Go into Settings ----> App store ----> Apple ID
It should change alot. But then you have to change Mail, FaceTime, Messages, Etc.
You could just erase all settings and data and that would give you a much cleaner resualt.

The original email I put as my Apple ID has been deavtivaed because I haven't used it in a while, so I want to change my Apple ID email to my current email. However, when I go online to change it, it tells me "this email address is already verified for another Apple ID". I don't recall making an Apple ID on this new email, but I'm guessing I created without realizing it. Is there any way I can delete the Apple ID on my new email and then change it? Ok I'm goin to call your old Apple ID #1 your new email you want to use #2 and another email #3.
- go to http://appleid.apple.com
- select manage your apple id
- sign into #2
- edit primary email and change it to #3
- save changes and sign out
Now
- sign into #1
- edit primary
- change it to the email that was used for #2
- save changes
- check #2's email inbox for verification email
- verify account
If done correctly you should be fine, also in terms of #3 that would be an email you have that you dont mind being an apple id that you wont use. Sorry for the funny way of explaining just thought it would be shorter to type out lol.
Note: Once changes have been made you must sign out of features such as iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, iTunes & App Store as they will still display the old Apple ID. Sign in with new email but same password as normal.

Once you have changed your Apple ID, you need to set it up for use in the various systems such as iTunes, the App Store, etc so it can be used as intended. This article shows how to do that -

To migrate her device to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos she wants to keep to her amera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow, then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If she is syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of the notes and email them to her so she can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in her new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create her new account and choose Merge to upload the data.
Once you are on separate accounts you can each go to icloud.com from a computer and delete the other person's data from your account.

Try contacting the store support staff at: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html they are usually pretty good at sorting out these issues.

You won't lose anything, however all purchases are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them originally so future updates of your existing apps will still require the password for your old ID (whether you are still using it for purchasing or not.

That is not the problem. I do not have a new apple id. I just changed the name of it because my email adres will expire. On the apple site <see your link> is explained how. This works fine on the site, i can log on and off with the new email adres.
But....all the apps on my i pad still contain the old apple id. And....it is not possibel to log on with this account becaue is has been changed :-)
So is seems that the only way a can use apps on my present and future ipad is tot use the same appe id forever...witch is not possible because companies change and so do e-mail-adresses.
