The only currently supported and updated versions of Firefox are 3.6.22 and 6.0.2.

I would still defend myself saying that this has already been answered...
I just did a search on SDN and found a post that would answer your question....

you are looking at L1 and L2 support....
The thread was locked because the question is already answered ( or discussed about ) in another post and you can get your answers faster by just searching....
Also if you do find the answers fetched as not being correct or accurate enough - you would need to mention that you did search the forums before posting. This way questions which have already been answered are not brought up again and it ends up with others doing the searching for you which paints a wrong picture...
Also in some cases L1 teams are merged with the company's existing L1 support desk to avoid confusion but follow similar rules as mentioned in the link and simlarly L2 - when you have multiple systems being supported by a central support team you get such scenarios where L1 and L2 are on-shore.

Bartab doesnt work with 6. I want to know what version it is compatible with, 3,4,5, but the site doesnt bother to show valuable information. Firefox gets worse and worse every year. I wonder if google is paying Firefox to be so bad?

A bunch of cable installers run Firefox now.
This isn't as much about bartab as about Firefox.
At one time Firefox wanted to be a great browser, it seems those days are gone.
Did you not realize people are going to revert to previous versions to be able to use preferred addons?

@dmcritchie max_concurrent_tabs is a solution to a different problem than the one BarTab solves. It just doesn't do what BarTab does, nowhere near as good.
The beauty of BarTab is that it works around time since the tab was viewed, *not* the number of tabs. If I don't look at a tab for an hour, I don't need it loaded, without regard to how how many tabs are open.

I keep getting a message to update my computer to 3.6.16 and I think I did but the popup on my computer still says 3.6.13. I also tried to download Firefox 4 from the Mozilla website. I don't know what version I am really using now. My computer is taking forever to change from one screen to another, so I'm pretty sure I screwed it up somehow. Thanks for any help I can get.

Your choice what version. Standard wisdom is always use the latest and therefore most secure. Not all add-on's are ready to go for the latest versions however.
