I wanted to put my photos from my iphone to itunes and realized my photo stream wasn't turned on nor was icloud on my cpu. So after fixing that, i still can not view any pictures on my itunes that are from my iphone.
Not only that but now that photo stream is turned on, it shows 3 photo stream albums, 1 called my photo stream that i made from my cpu,1 photo library, and 1 called photo stream. when i turn it off, it just deletes the photo stream album and leaves the others. what do i need to do to do this right? i just want what's necessary and to be able to view my photos on itunes or wherever it's suppose to be because i have way too many photos on my phone that i want to take off.
Photostream will only work with photos newly taken on your iPhone. It will not work with photos already on your iPhone. The idea of Photostream is to allow you to take a photo(s) on your iPhone and a copy will be extended to the Photostream album on the iphone as well as other devices(with Photostream turned on) and your PC (with icloud control panel installed and photostream turned on) so that you can copy those files into your local folder.
If you want to transfer old photos from your iPhone, connect it to your PC and there will be an AUTOPLAY popup window for you to select to import pictures to your local folder.
If the Autoplay window dose not showup, you can go to windows explorer to look for your iPhone and right click to select import pictures:

In your case, that probably means start fresh:
Restart the computer, holding down 'command' and 'r'. When the recovery disk window shows, choose 'Reinstall Mac OS X'. -

charles altmanReplying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

When you say it "can not scan any wifi network" do you mean it is not detecting Wi-Fi networks?
Is Wi-Fi turned on in Settings > General > Wi-Fi?
Have you tried Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings?
Is it just the home network that the device will not connect to? or any network? -
I am not sure what the Firefox message said last night when I was looking at pictures on facebook. It was something about viewing images. Now I can't view any - except I can see the thumbnails - but not the singular image. I can't seem to find anything in the Firefox settings about this.

I recommend that you open your print preferences and select the paper source as the main tray and set the paper size to whatever size it is you want to print. I don'y have a Vista example but I have included a screen shot from Windows 7 of the options window you're after.

How can one view the pictures backed on iTunes from iPhone?
I lost my iPhone sometime back and need to access the contacts and pictures that I had backed up. I don’t intend to buy another iPhone but I would like to get to access this information. Is there a program or something that can do this?
It is not possible for you to retrieve contacts or pictures from iTunes backup without an iPhone. There is a way to do this though – if you have a friend who has an iPhone, you can restore the information on their iPhone and then transfer it to a computer. The backed up information will always be there, so just be patient till you can borrow an iPhone or get one. You should also check if your contacts synced with windows contacts (Windows Address book on Windows XP, Windows Contacts on Windows Vista and 7, Address book on Mac, Microsoft Outlook (not Outlook Express), Google contacts or Yahoo Address book. Pictures are not meant to be stored in backup and do not sync when your phone is connected. You may need to import the pictures using a different program when the iPhone is detected as a digital camera.

Can not view any Facebook site any ideas?
My Galaxy S4 will not allow me to view any Facebook site. I have tried using Wi-Fi and data without any luck.
I have done restarts, virus scans and tried several ways to view a Facebook site. I go to those that I have bookmarked and tried a search for the site and then try to click into it and still cannot connect. I have also gone to several locations that have Wi-Fi in case it was just my home system.
I get a notice of a server error. My wife has the same phone bought at the same time and has not had trouble with this issue even for the same Facebook sites. My phone seems more glitchy that my wife's. At times I can't get the keyboard to go off the screen unless I restart the phone.It is working again. I was using the internet explorer app to view the Facebook sites. I do not have a Facebook site so I was not using their app. I downloaded Firefox app and that allows me to view the Facebook sites I visit.
I do not know why I can not use internet explorer as the settings are the same as my wife's phone and she can view them.
I tried the battery trick and that did not work and I also cleared the history and cache on ie. -

I am really not satisfiedYes at one time slideshows from iphoto were supported, then the features in iphoto slideshows were improved and the assumption is that the tv could not play the new features, so the ability to play slideshows made in iphoto was removed. It's clearly not a bug it was an engineering decision.
You don't have to use imovie, use the export feature in iphoto. There is no problem with sound (whether you choose to use iphoto for your export or indeed opt to make your movies in imovie), I'm not sure why you would think there is. -
