I was cleaning out my itunes and a bunch of music that I didn't delete is gone. how can I get it back?

I was under the impression that I needed more space to use the new version of IOS 8 on my iMac, which is 8 years old. So I was getting rid of a lot of the music that I had in my iTunes that I had burned and already owned on CD and accidentally deleted a ton that I downloaded from iTunes. Is there any way to get that music back without buying it again?

Only way to get it back is to restore your phone from a backup, if those pics were included in that backup.
But most likely those pics are gone.
What you should've done was import http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 the pics to your computer and after you restored from your old backup, you could sync those new pics to your phone via itunes.

It's something to do with the main user account (not iTunes account) on my Mac because I logged in with another account and it downloaded fine, I installed it on the HDD and even though the date in App Store was 16th October 2014, it is the full installer of 10.10.2.
To try to resolve this problem, I have copied the installer app elsewhere and deleted it but App Store still will not allow me to download it with my main user account yet just allowed me to update iTunes.
I had a brainwave last night that it might have been related to me changing the default downloads folder to one not on my boot drive (to save disk space on my main boot drive) but having changed it back, tried again, rebooted and tried yet again, deleted my App Store preferences. nothing has worked.

You can get iTunes purchases back by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
For other items you need to get them from whee yuo got them the first time.
The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not include synced mediai like apps and music. If those ore not in the iTunes library on the computer on which you performed the update they are lost.

The voicemail system used for the iPhone is different from the voicemail system used on the rest of the Verizon Wireless network. This suggests you don't have the right operating system. OS X 10.7.2 or better is required for iCloud, which operating system do you have.

1.View 2.Select tool bars 3. Uncheck any of the toolbars below: a. Babylon toolbar b. Softonic Eng 7 Community tool bar!
4.Finish.... if nothing happened try to unchechked other tool bars.

If you have the installation disc for iLife and MS Office, then you can install it from there. With iPhoto, if you downloaded it from the Mac App Store, you can redownlad it fron the "Purchases" tab.

If it was not in your iTunes library when you did the update it is gone.

All apps, and other iTunes downloads, as tied to the account that originally bought/downloaded it - so if you bought it with your old account then you will need to login with that account and it should then show in the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPhone, or the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

Like I said, I had well over 100 albums on my computer. These were all imports from physical albums, some of which I don't have anymore. I updated iTunes this morning and now I have 5 albums. I've tried rolling iTunes back to a saved point, but it didn't put anything back in and now that restore point is gone. I thouht I could just search for the albums on my computer and re-import them, but they seem to be wiped from the entire computer. What the heck? Is there any way to get them back?
