Yes, it could be spam. I get spam text from time to time. Yes, you both could have gotten the same spam at the same time. Spammers re sending out thousands and thousands of messages.

If there are problems with importing the IE Favorites in Firefox then export the favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.
If you do not have the menu bar in IE then right-click the toolbar at the top to enable the Menu Bar.

Thank you Joe - I tried this but it's only showing a teensy amount of music - the stuff on the second users account as opposed to the giagntic library on the 'main' account. I actually went to a Genius Bar and they said that apple doesn't really want you to share music between accounts - parents don't want to hear their kids music etc. Which seemed strange, but it might be the case sadly Thanks anyway!

I don't know what instructions you may have followed, but as long as you "signed out" , then you will be fine.

My laptop was stolen, and came online. i have an email telling me i can view that location for 24 hours, but i don't know how. when i go to find my iphone it says offline. can i see where it came online and how?

I can't turn on Mail in Settings. Earlier i tried to e-mail a document from the GoodReader app through my Gmail account. Apparently, my iPad2 didn't like that. Also, now when i click on Mail on the Home screen, the Mail screen shows no mailboxes.

iPad2. I tried to e-mail a document from the GoodReader app. It froze. Now, when i tap the Mail button on the Home screen, it goes to a blank mail page, with no mailboxes, whereas before it went straight to my Gmail account. I went in to the Settings section, tapped on Mail, Contacts, and then on Gmail. The Mail button is grayed to Off, and when i press it to turn it On, all i get is a message that says Turning on Mail, but nothing happens. Suggestions?

Start off by trying to reset the ipad. Press and hold the power and home buttons at the same time until the device powers down and you see the Apple logo.

First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Then connect your camera and turn on the camera. Does it work then?

When opened up iPhoto, it said it was rebuilding thumb caches

I thought a file was an old duplicate iPhoto library so I put it in the trash on my dock. Then when I went to open up iPhoto, it indicated that it was rebuilding thumb caches and then I couldn't view any of the pictures, although the library still indicated that there were 7000 pictures. So I dragged the file out of the trash in case that was the problem. But then I couldn't open up iPhoto anymore and it asked us to choose or create a new library. My husband clicked create a new library and of course, that's blank. But there's no other library to choose from even when I try. I seem to have two back up photo libraries, but they only seem to contain pictures from a long time ago. Where can I find the 7000 pictures that were in my latest library? I really hope it's not lost!

Yes. Since iPhoto is now linked to the proper library you can delete those other library folders.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

Hi, I have a problem with my Epson Stylus NX420. I had it connected to my computer, and it worked fine. But I preformed a remodel and before the printer was connected to a windows desktop, and now it is not. I don't know if this could the be the cause of the problem. But I tried to print something and it showed me the printer as offline, but it wasn't. Thus to try to fix this, as I have done before I deleted the printer and tried to add it again. But as I went to add it, the printer was not there. I have searched the internet for an answer and I have found nothing. I do not understand why this has happened, nor how to fix it. Please help me.

Because you had the printer connected to Windows, the print queue on your Mac was for this connection. With you moving the printer away from the Windows computer, the print queue on the Mac will no longer work and will show offline. So for the new connection of the printer you have to create a new print queue.
Now the question is; how is the printer connected to the Mac. If it is connected by USB to the Mac then it should appear in the Default Add Printer view. If it is connected to the Mac via some other method, then could you reply with how it is connected.
If it is connected to the Mac by USB then the most likely cause for the printer not appearing in the Default Add Printer view is thenUSB printer cable. So try disconnecting it and reconnecting it or even try another USB printer cable.

This is a nightmare!! If I leave it on 3G it's fine and appears to be when it switches from 4 to 3G. Has anyone had this issue and if so are there any fixes??
