I agree. This is a 100% facebook problem, but then you need to watch what you have associated with ANY social media site. As little as possible is best.

I've had my iTunes account for about a year now, and I just got the iPhone 5s. I logged into my iTunes account on my phone just fine, and all the music I've bought on iTunes has transferred to my phone, but the cds I burned haven't. The sync button is gray so I can't click on it. The songs from the cds on iTunes are checked and should sync but haven't. Please help!

What exactly did your friend do ? Did you or he take a backup of your iTunes library before updating your computer ? Have you checked to see if your music is still on your computer ? By default your iTunes library is stored under :
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\
Windows Vista: \Users\username\Music\iTunes
Windows 7 and Windows 8: \Users\username\My Music\iTunes
If it's there then you can add it to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library.
If not then do you have a copy of your library on a backup ? If you do then use File > Add To Library to add it back.
If you haven't got a backup then you might, depending upon what country that you are in and if the music is still in your country's store, be able to redownload your iTunes purchases via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage. -

A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
When I purchased my Mac six months ago, I transferred my Quicken files to Quicken Essentials. That worked fine until yesterday. Now I'm getting messages that there is not application to open the files, or that it just plain can't open the file. What gives here? What happened? How can I get back in?
Launch the Quicken application and try to open the file from there, if you haven't already. If that fails, and a simple restart of the computer doesn't help, try reinstalling the application. If that doesn't cure the problem, I would suggest you take this up in the Quicken Community:

So basically, my Ipod5 was working normally earlier today but then the screen just randomly went black and I cant get it to turn on. The problem though, is that for the past 15 weeks, it has been telling me that it is unable to save anything to the cloud due to a lack of space. I don't really care about anything other than my pictures and I'm wondering if there is any way for me to get them back even if my Ipod doesn't work?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

All folders up to "H" have gone missing and for some reason when I go into Time Machine, I'm not able to access any of the backups. It won't let me select any of the screens behind the current one and when I click on the right hand side on any of the dates listed, nothing happens. I really need to get this fixed. Any help????
I don't know what will help at this point. You should never update a system that has problems, unless you're absolutely sure that the problems are caused by a bug that is fixed in the update. With your backups in an uncertain state, you should not update or do anything else except start a new backup.

Can this software be used to hack into a facebook account?
In my privacy settings there is a string of info saying my acount was logged into from several different location. None of them are near where i am now. My facebook has been hacked and they are sending emails from my account. The string of info is on my settings. can this be traced back to the origin? here is the string.

I imported and merged some AD GPOs using SCM and exported the combined GPO from SCM. I go into GPMC, create a new GPO and tried to run both "Import Settings" and "Restore from backup".
"Restore from backup" says "backup not found" in the directory I gave it. "Import settings" shows the GPO after giving it the directory with the exported GPO. At the "Scanning Backup" step it says that the Backup contains references to Security Principals
and I should specify how the wizard should translate these references. I even created a migration table, but at the final step it says "GPO: <Description> Failed" followed by "The data is invalid"
This might work for you though @KHanley if you don't have user rights assignment and security identifier stuff in your GPO. -

This evening I woke my computer up and the first thing I noticed was the background image had changed.
Then navigating through my folders, all files have been removed except for *some" of the following file types:
Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CeltX, Final Draft, InDesign.
Files I know were there this morning and are no longer there are: PDF, MOV, TXT, and others.
When I "get info" on one of the folders that used to be populated with files, the first file size that shows is the original (i.e. 2.3 gigs) but it quickly updates to the new size of an empty folder (6 mb).
I have checked to make sure I am still logged in as the correct user, I have reset the PRAM, I have reindexed finder, I have verified and repaired the disk and verified disk permissions. I have used Terminal to show all hidden files, and none of these things have helped.
No, I do not have a backup that I can restore from. Yes, I know it is stupid.
Any insight or suggestions are welcome.
Thank you!Try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

The only way to locate your phone is through Apple's Find My Phone service. However, you would have had to setup/activate Find My Phone before your phone was lost/stolen, and it must be turned on & the phone have internet access. You would then login to iCloud.com, from any computer, & hopefully locate your phone. If you didn't setup Find My Phone, there is no way to locate your phone. Report the loss to the police & your carrier. Change your passwords.
