I was lied to by the salesperson and tricked into changing my plan!!
I am furious with AT&T!
I went in to the store in January to replace my daughter's phone and see why out plan was so expensive. The salesperson told me out plan was expensive because it was old and that I had old data packages. We have 4 lines and our 2 main numbers had unlimited data. I was promised we didn't use enough data for this to be an issue and that they could reduce my bill if we switched to their new contracts and that the data provided would be waaaay more than my family would ever use.
This was a complete lie!
We have gone over the data package every month and the next upgrade is an extra $100/month!!
More than we were paying with our original plan!
We were due for upgraded free phones on the old plan, but instead she switched us and we are paying monthly for the phones!
Everything was a lie and I can't get a hold of a supervisor in customer service to deal with this.
When I went back to ask why this was different than I was told it would be, I was told the person who sold it to me was gone and there was nothing they could do. I had to deal with corporate.
My attempts to speak to someone who can help have been futile.
If anyone has an idea how I can get this resolved or if you've had a similar experience and you had a good solution, please let me know. I don't want to change companies but I may have to.

There is no good solution. As with all carriers, you only had 14 days to return the phones and cancel the new service. Your best bet may be to change carriers to one that will pay off your phones or ETF. Be prepared to buy new phones (Sprint "leases" them to you). However, I'd advise you to do your own research and not depend on a salesman's explanation. Check forums for other carriers and you'll see similar complaint about them as you have with ATT.

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must use the previous owner's password to get permission to use the device. If you cannot get the password your father put on the iPad you will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

I just got an apple at&t iphone 4 and I have it unlocked. But I want to connect it to t-mobile, so I trimmed my sim card and once the phone was unlocked I inserted the sim and it says no sim, activation error. What can I do to fix this? What is wrong?

I am using iphone 3gs since last 4 days. Till yesterday night it was working fine and i have connected this phone for charging . Morning there was apple logo in the screen and every 1mte (approx) it is blinking. I could not restart the phone.Plz help . I have tried to reset even by pressing sleep and home button but it could not help. Please suggest. Still i have connected for charging .
Sounds like you have corrupt backup data, if this occurs from one phone to another. Try restoring the phone as a new device, without a backup. Try using for a day before installing any other apps, etc. See if that improves the battery life. Then try syncing back applications a couple at a time. Something seems to be locking in the processor which is draining the battery.
Do you live in an area where there are Apple Stores? If so, try making an appointment with the Genius Bar to have the device checked out. -
when i try to update my itunes on my pc i keep getting the messaage that there was a problem with the installer and it could not finish. how do i fix this? i`ve tried to download 3 times already.

I've got a similar problem. iTunes v10.2 worked fine, but when I tried to update it to 10.5 I got a 'Bonjour' error. I eventually solved that but I still couldn't upgrade to 10.5, so I deleted every single Apple, Quicktime, iTunes, etc file on my PC using Revo Unistaller (because the normal Windows Add/Delete programs wouldn't work) but now, when I install the latest iTunes version from scratch (on XP SP3), it says: "the installer encountered errors before it could be configured.... your system has not been modified"

am unable to burn any info-photo ect on to a disk. I have a 27" I mac mid 2010 version. I put in a disk, hit burn, it runs for about 3 mins and ejects the disk sayiny there was an error with the drive and will not restart.
The optical drive has probably failed. It's a fairly common thing with these slim SuperDrives. Does it read any discs you put into it? You can try resetting the SMC and pram but I'll be surprised if it helps.
To reset the SMC
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord.
Wait fifteen seconds.
Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on
Resetting PRAM and NVRAM
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys. -
I bought an adapter for my itouch 5 so that i won't need a computer to charge my itouch gen5 - however, i noticed that it was acting up in such a way that i was having difficulty swiping the screen and even tapping the icons. Is the only option for charging is the USB charger/connector? Or is there a specific device that I should use?

My Macbook pro won't open downloaded programs, it just opens the code it was written in using the text and edit app. How can I fix this? I just bought the computer last month so this is some what frustrating.
If you are downloading .exe files, those are Windows programs, and will not run on your Mac unless you install Windows on it. (That is possible, if you need one of those apps.)

About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Your MacBook is using the big screen as the Presenter Display, and the MacBook Air display as the Show display. Tap the 'x' key to swap them during the show.

On my home wireless network, the iphone 5 won't let me enter the IP address, subnet mask and router info. I was able to enter the DNS and Search Domains. How do I open up those fields?
